A week had passed since “Crow” brought the new prisoner.
It's time. Zexal sat upon his chair before the crystal ball. He had been deep in thought, planning the temptation of Lust on the Hell-Dweller halfling. He stood up from the chair and made his way up the stairs. The Hell-Dweller was out slaughtering Hunters, a perfect time to present the ultimatum to his new prisoner. He walked up the second set of stairs and made his way to the room.
He burst open the door, and walked into the room like it was his own.
The girl inside jumped at the sudden violation of privacy. She took several steps back, distancing herself from the intruder.
He smiled, attempting to look as friendly as possible. “I have a question for you. Are you willing to help the-” He stopped speaking, then corrected himself, “Crow take a shower?”
The girl looked flabbergasted by the question, she found it hard to speak.
“Well? Will you or will you not?”
“What? W-why?”
Zexal sighed at having to explain, “I’m going to stop allowing my butler to do that. Now you can either help him to shower, or-” he took in a breath and began walking to her at a rapid pace.
In response, she took as many steps as she could away from the intruder, her back meeting the wall behind her.
Zexal pinned her to the wall, took hold of her chin in his hand, and got really close to her face. He whispered his next words, “I could have my fun with your body.”
Tab closed her eyes tightly, denying that this was truly happening. She pushed the intruder away. “Fine, I’ll do it. But not in the nude.”
Zexal’s eyes gave a slight squint before accepting the condition, “okay, then you wear a swimsuit.”
Tab appeared to give up, “okay.”
“I’ll go and buy one for you then.”
He walked out the door, a grin on his face. Hopefully, the rule of “more is less” applies to the Hell-Dweller.
Zexal turned around after passing the door, “one more thing, don’t tell Crow the alternative. The last thing I need is for him to attempt to take my life.”
Tab nodded.
He smiled and then closed the door behind him.
Tab’s knees buckled, she fell to the floor and began to hug herself. She had never been more scared. She took in a few deep breaths to help calm herself. How could she know if a vampire like him would keep his promise? Or that “Crow” wouldn’t do what the vampire had threatened to do? Tears began to stream down her face.
