Chapter 19

321 Words
“Don’t kill her… Please don’t kill her.” The voice of a young child was pleading with him. He closed his eyes and drew himself inside to find the source of the voice. His claws pulled back into his hands, the pitch-black shadows on his skin ran back to the top of his head virtually gone. He desperately searched for the source but couldn’t find it. He opened his eyes again, the irises glowed a vibrant deep red, he looked into the eyes of Tab. She looked into his eyes, feeling fear for her life while simultaneously feeling a deep sadness coming from him. The fear soon started to wither as a feeling of sleep deprivation came to replace it. Her eyelids began to feel heavy. No, I can’t fall asleep here. She tried to fight off her sleep, swinging her sword at the Demon in front of her. He was simply just out of her range. Her body began to feel heavier and she found herself unable to pick up the sword and soon afterward her eyes closed. She fell into a deep sleep and nothing would be able to wake her up. “Crow” picked her up in his arms and began walking back to his motorcycle. It was a far walk, each step consisted of him cursing Zexal mentally for forbidding him of his wings. When he finally got to the motorcycle, he sat Tab against it. He took off his jacket and put it on her. The sleeves were long on her. He smiled a bit. I think I just figured out how to get her to stay on. He sat her on the motorcycle, before putting himself on it. Then he grabbed the sleeves of the jacket and pulled them to himself. He tied the sleeves together over his abdomen and started the motorcycle. He drove off, to go back to the manor.
