New Queen

Claude and Usagi were smiling as they saw us walking to them talking casually. Usagi said, "Era, how are you handling everything?" I said with a smile, "Thanks, I'm okay." Sebastian gave him a confused look then asked, "Is this the first time you do this?" I passed my hand through my hair then said, "Yes." He looked at me surprised then I said, "I have to admit it is difficult to do this job but Evanna is very important to me. I really want to keep her safe. I also want to join the Royal Guards, so this has been training." Sebastian's facial expression changed then said, "This is nothing like the training there." I looked at him with amazed eyes then said, "Now I really want to go." My phone dinged and I quickly opened it then said, "I have to go see Evanna." Sebastian said, "Be careful." 

I walked quickly towards her and she was sitting in a conference room with Darius and as I entered Darius said, "Stay with her. I have to go get everything ready. I will send you a message when she needs to enter." I nodded my head and he left. Evanna was a nervous wreck so I grabbed her hands then said, "You will do great and you will have me to protect you." She smiled then got us and gave me a hug. I took my mask off then said, "I trust you." She said softly, "I hope you will take the throne soon." I smiled but as she hugged me again the door open and I saw 2 men that were wearing masks. I quickly flipped the table and pushed Evanna towards the other side then said telepathically, "Call Claude." She nodded then I blocked one of the men. I grabbed the spear and as I extended it the other took out a gun. I made a barrier around Evanna and as the bullet hit the barrier it fell to the floor. I felt my rage growing and I released magic to my speak and it turned into a scythe. I cut one of the men down and blood gushed making everything bloody. My eyes were now crimson and my hair began to turn white. The other man began to retreat but before I could run to him the door opened and I saw Claude, Usagi and Sebastian. I froze then Sebastian ran to him and as the man was going to shoot Sebastian I used the scythe to stop the bullet from injuring him. Evanna said, "Aarraa!" I looked at her then I let go of the scythe and ran to her. As I passed my barrier it broke and I hugged her and she said, "Calm down, Cessabit." I relaxed again and my hair returned to black and my eyes to hazel. 

Claude and Sebastian had the man apprehended before I turned to see them. I examined Evanna quickly then my phone chimed. I looked at it then said to Usagi, "Take her to Darius." He grabbed her and lead her out. I turned to Claude and Sebastian but just then I felt my body heavy and I felt my strength vanish. I attempted to walk to them but I felt my consciousness slip away. The last thing I saw was Sebastian running towards me. 

I woke up in Sebastian's arms. I tried to sit up but he said, "Please don't move." I looked around then I realized that I was in the same room but now there were a lot of  guards cleaning the area and keeping an eye on the detained man. My gaze went to the man and he shivered as he looked at me. Sebastian said as he put his arms around my waist, "Who are you?" I looked at him confused then said, "I am Era." He squinted his eyes at me then said, "Are you lying to me?" I frowned then said as I sat up from the position he had me in his arms, "I don't need to lie to you." He let go of me and Claude walked up to me and said, "We will be leaving in a few. How do you feel?" I smiled then said, "I'm fine." He smiled then said to Sebastian, "Escort her to the car. We will take Queen Evanna and Lord Darius down soon." He nodded then we left. I did not realize I had lost my mask until we were in the elevator. I was so upset that I did not notice his scent before but as we stood alone in the elevator I began to smell him all around me. I covered my nose and he said worriedly, "Are you okay?" I nodded my head but he got closer to me which made me feel his presence closer to me and it made my body feel hot. He said as he took my hand, "We are almost there we just have 4 more floors left." I looked at the numbers then I felt something different. 

Sebastian was coming closer and I said as I felt a heat burning deeply in my body, "Don't get close to me." He said as he began to breath heavy, "I can't stop." He touched my waist and pushed me to the elevator wall as he put his face on my neck and took a deep breath. As he exhaled I felt his breath tickle my neck and it made me groan softly in his ear which made him kiss my neck. I shivered and a low wimper left my lips. He looked at me and as our eyes met I saw that there was something in them that wanted me. I averted my eyes but he followed my face and said as he stood inches away from my lips, "There is something about you that makes me crazy." I could feel his hot breath touching my lips making them feel hot and sending urges to my body to kiss him. His hand on my waist made me shiver then I felt by body react. We kissed passionately and he pinned me to the wall as he moved from my lips to my neck. I let out a low moan then I pushed him to the other side of the elevator pinning him as I kissed him and nibbled on his lower lip. He smiled and kissed me deeply again sending a shock down my body making me moan. He grabbed my ass and pressed my waist to his erect manhood. We heard a loud ding that made us move apart panting and out of breath. I felt my mouth on fire and I knew that this could not happen again. 

I dashed out of the elevator as it opened. He ran after me and as he caught up to me he grabbed my arm and spun me to face him then said, "Why are you running away from me?" I simply said,  "I can't do this right before I go to training." He let go of my hand then said with a smile, "I forgot you will be there soon." I looked at him curiously then said, "What do you mean by that?" He grabbed my hand then said, "We will have a lot of time together." We walked towards the car and he opened the door but I refused to enter. He took a deep breath then said softly in a sad tone, "You know, I am in love with someone that won't ever love me back but you make my feeling for that person disappear." Hearing his confession made my heart ache and I said, "Why don't you try with her if you love her?" He smiled then said, "Because I made up my mind to only protect her." I smiled then said, "She is a very fortunate woman." He smiled then without any warning he kissed me. I returned the kiss but I pushed him softly away then said, "I'm sorry but after what you told me I think this is a mistake." He sighed then said, "I'm an i***t for being loyal to her." I smiled then said, "So am I." He looked at me confused then I said, "I realized kind of late that I had feeling for an old friend and I recently found out that he loves another." He hugged me then said, "We are idiots for falling for the wrong people." I nodded my head then said, "Stop hugging me." He let go of me and as he did he said, "Maybe we should try to forget then." I smiled then said, "I rather wait." He said softly, "I respect your decision." I smiled then I saw Usagi walking towards us followed by Evanna, Darius and Claude. 

I walked up to Evanna and she hugged me. She smiled then said, "Did something good happen?" I gave her an innocent look then said, "Why do you say that?" Darius replied, "He looks guilty and you look very guilty." I blushed then said, "Nothing happened." We got in the car and the ride was quiet as we went home. Evanna said as we arrived, "You have to stay for dinner with us, Sebastian." He smiled then said, "I don't want to intrude too much." Darius said as he grabbed his shoulder, "It will be fine. We also want to ask you about how to go about enrolling Era to the Royal Guards." He looked at me and I said, "Yes, I want to start soon." He smiled then said, "Sure." We went inside and waited in the living room before dinner was ready. 

We spent most the time talking about requirements for enrollment which I had them all already. He said finally, "If you need a reference please use me since I was her fighting skills." Evanna smiled than said, "I hope she finds a good man when she is there to see if maybe she gives me grandkids." I choked on my water as she said that. Darius laughed then said, "That would be nice." Hanna entered the living room then said, "Dinner is ready." We all got up and went to sit down. We ate and Evanna kept making jokes with Darius but I stayed quiet and Sebastian would keep glancing at me when he could. I found it very sexy but knew that I had to stop this before I made a mistake. We finished eating and Sebastian said his goodbyes before leaving. 

Evanna said to me as he left, "Are you going to tell me what happened?" I blushed then said, "Nothing happened." She smiled again then said, "Something happened." I rolled my eyes then said, "I need to go pack up." She grabbed my hand then said, "I want you to be happy." I hugged her then said, "I can't be happy yet." Her smile vanished and she nodded sadly. I walked away and went to my room. I quickly made my luggage then went to take a shower. I put on my underwear then put a long beach dress before I walked outside for a midnight stroll.
