New People

I woke up early in the morning and when I saw my room in complete darkness I was puzzled. I got up and walked to the balcony and opened the curtain. My eyes saw the dark gray sky as I saw the sun begin to rise. I woke up too early but seeing the sunrise made it worth it. I saw the sun change the dark gray sky into beautiful orange, purple and pink colors that made the sky dance as it changed into a bright orange before it turned blue. I smiled as I felt the rays of the sun touch my face. I was startled by a knock on my door. I quickly turned then said, "You can come in." Hanna opened the door then said, "Good morning, My Lady." I smiled then said, "Is breakfast ready?" She nodded her head then said, "We made a lot of food since we will have guest coming over in the afternoon." I smiled then said, "I'll go get ready." I rushed to the bathroom then put on a navy blue dress that my mother said made my eyes shine. Once I finished I rushed to the dinning room. 

I began to eat breakfast but was so excited that I managed to eat a little for the fear that I would vomit from the excitement. To my surprise my father came to sit with me in the dinning table as I ate breakfast. He said as he took a sip form his coffee, "You have training after this then at noon my colleagues will arrive." I smiled then said, "Is Sebastian waiting in the gym?" My father nodded and I quickly said, "Okay, I'll go get changed then will train." He gave me another nod and I left.

I entered the gym only to find Sebastian talking with his father about something. I saw Sebastian smiling from ear to ear then he hugged his father. I looked at their excitement but Claude gave him a tap and he looked at me before becoming serious. I was shocked at his sudden change but though nothing of it since we started to stretch. He was a good teacher and he seemed to know a lot of self defense techniques. I liked learning to fight and defend myself. Every time we were together I felt time fly and I enjoyed the time we had to train. We finished our training with an hour to spare so I could get ready for lunch. Sebastian said as he grabbed his stuff, "In the maze." I looked at him then smiled as he rushed out of the gym. 

I went to my room and took a shower then got ready for lunch then headed to see Sebastian. I walked to the garden and entered the maze and found the familiar boy sitting in the same spot. I walked up to him then said, "Hey." I wanted him to see my new dress and find out what he thought of it. He smiled then said with a sad face, "I won't be training you anymore." My smile quickly vanished then said, "Why is that?" He smiled then said, "I was accepted to the training school I wanted to go to." I frowned then said, "But you said that you would go next year." He sighed then said, "There was a spot available and since I was put on the waiting list for next year they chose me to fill that vacant spot." I continued to frown but I knew he really wanted to go so I finally smiled then said, "I will lose my favorite teacher but when you return you better teach me everything you learned." He stretched his arm and gave me his pinky and as I took it I said, "It's a promise." We smiled then he said as he got up to leave, "You looked very cute in that dress." I smiled with pride hearing his thought. He waved then left.  

I made my way back to the house and as I entered I heard voices. I walked towards them then I saw men shaking my fathers' hand and women with their daughters. I walked up to them shyly and as my father looked at me he said, "This is my daughter, Aarraa." I smiled and gave them a bow as I said, "Nice to meet you." Everyone looked at me and h=gave me a bow as well. My father said, "Go meet the girls while the adults meet." I walked to where the girls were sitting and one of them said, "Your dress is very pretty." I smiled then said, "Thank you." They began to introduce themselves and I liked hearing what they liked to do. Amber looked at me then said, "So, Aarraa, what do you like?" As I was going to reply her mother walked to her then said to her but made sure we all heard her, "You will address her as Lady Aarraa." I froze and they looked at her mother. I became self conscious about that and became more quiet as she walked away. I looked at her then she said, "What do you like to do, Lady Aarraa?" I froze again then said softly, "I like to learn self defense." Their eyes widen then said with excitement, "That is so cool." I smiled and Ashley said, "My parents have me learning how to sow." I smiled then Jane said, "I already learned to sow so now I am learning how to play the piano." Brenda said as she smiled, "I am learning how to draw." I smiled then said, "I already learned how to do those things." They looked at me with wide eyes and Amber said, "That's why she is a Royal." I looked at her confused and Jane said as she touched Amber's arm, "We can't talk about that." She looked around and saw that no one had heard what she said then smiled. Ashley said, "Why are you learning self defense?" I sighed then said, "I was kidn*pped a few days ago." They all gasped then I added, "I was rescued quickly but since I was unable to fight back they don't want any more of those incidents happening." They all nodded.

We spent a lot of time talking about many thing and by the time they had to leave we didn't want to part. Their parent's were content with that but I knew they had things to do. I said my farewells as they began to leave one by one. I was left alone with my father in the doorway. I looked at him then said, "I had fun." He smiled then said, "I'm sorry for taking too long to allow you to meet others." I smiled then gave him a hug as we walked in side again. He patted my head and I asked with curiosity, "Where is mother?" He looked down then said, "She had to interview your new trainer." I froze then said, "A new trainer?" He said, "Yes, Sebastian was accepted to a very prestigious school for future Generals and he can not train you anymore." I knew since he told me but as my father said that I felt a bit sad but did not allow it to show. I said, "I hope I learn a lot." He chuckled then said, "If your mother hears that she might cry." I giggled understanding exactly what he meant.  

My mother was very feminine and she wanted me to be the same way. Unfortunately for her I was very shy and did not like to stand out much. I tried my best to stay in the shadows and avoid unnecessary attention. My mother on the other hand loved attention and always wanted to be the center of attention.

I went to my room to change since I suffocated since I had worn the dress just to impress the girls. I wanted to be comfortable now. Once I finished changing I went to the garden where I wondered until dinner time. I went to the dinning room only to find a lady that I did not know. She looked at me as I walked in then said, "You have grown a lot, Aarraa." I looked at her then said, "I have." My mother entered then said, "There you are." I turned to her and she said, "This is your aunt Evanna." I looked at the beautiful woman that seemed to be around the same age as my mother. She smiled then said, "Well come over here and let me give you a hug." I hesitantly walked to her then she hugged me. I felt warm and secure. It almost reminded of  how my dad hugged me. My father entered then said, "I am so glad that the both of you are interacting so well." She walked over to my father then said, "Brother, how have you been?" I smiled as I realized that she was my father's sister. He said, "I have been well. How about you?" She smiled then said, "I am fine." He raised a brow then said, "Have you married yet?" She hit his arm softly then replied, "Why would I?" He laughed and I was surprised seeing him laugh so loudly. 

We ate dinner and my aunt kept telling me of the many adventure my father and her had as children." I smiled happily as I learned a lot about my father. He would tell her to be quiet but she continued more and more. We were now in the living room watching a movie when my father got a call. I turned to look at him and he said, "Yes, I will be there soon." My mother got up then said, "Do you need me to go with you?" He said as he grabbed my mothers' hand, "No, I will be back soon." He gave me a pat in the head then he left. We finished the movie and I was really tired. After saying good bye I went to my room to sleep.
