Small Changes

I woke up early and began to get dressed for school. I had my uniform on and my long brown hair in a ponytail. I grabbed my book bag and then made my way down stairs. I bumped into Hanna who was going to fix my bed and room. I smiled then said, "Good morning, Hanna." She looked at me confused then said, "Good morning, why are you up so early, My Lady?" I looked at her confused then said, "I have school today." She smiled then nodded still confused. I continued my way downstairs and met my father as he was coming up. He smiled then said as I gave him a hug, "Sorry, Aarraa. We think it is best that you stay home until you forget about the incident 2 days ago." I looked at him then said softly, "I already forgot. It's only a bad nightmare I had." My young mind could not comprehend what had happened or what I truly was. 

My father patted my head then said as we walked to the dinning room, "Usagi and Claude will be waiting for you outside. They will no leave you alone except for when you are in school, do you understand?" I shook my head then asked, "Who will train me now?" He smiled then said, "That will be a surprise for later." I smiled but felt sad. I ate breakfast then went outside to wait for the car but it was already waiting for me. The 20 minute drive made me feel good since I was usually in the house most of the time. I watched as the streets became full of people that I already recognized by face only. 

We arrived to my school and I got out. Claude said, "If you need anything let us know, we will be waiting out here." I nodded my head then said, "Thank you." I made my way inside and everyone was acting like usual. I walked to my classroom and took a seat waiting for the bell to ring. Marie walked up to me then said with a smile, "Why so sad?" I looked up to her then said with a smile, "I'm not sad." She smiled then said as she rolled her eyes, "Sure." She took her seat next to me. The bell rang and we began class. 

It was finally lunch and I felt drained. I was worried about who my new teacher was going to be for self defense. Marie once again interrupted my worried thoughts then said, "I need to go to the nurses office can you take me?" I looked up to her then said, "Sure." I got up then asked as we walked to the nurse office, "What's wrong?" She showed me her hand and saw blood in it. I looked then said sarcastically, "I think you will need to get stitches." She smiled then rolled her eyes as she said, "You need a new brain." I smiled then said, "Maybe." 

We reached the nurses office and found it empty. We walked in and I quickly grabbed some peroxide and gauze then began to clean her wound. I put a band aid then said, "You'll live." She smiled then we left. In the classroom I saw how everyone was conversing among themselves as I took my seat. I knew I was different I could smell it. They all smelled the same except for my teachers who had a similar scent to our servants at home. I slowly began to realize that I was changing but I did not know into what. 

After school I went straight home. I felt anxious about going home and meeting my new trainer. Once we arrived I went straight to my room and changed. I walked to the gym and found my father talking to someone. I looked at them then saw Sebastian once again. I smiled then said, "What's going on?" My father said, "Sebastian will train you today since Calvin will be arriving tomorrow to take over your training." I smiled and said, "Sure." My father patted my head then he left us alone. Sebastian seemed nervous as he said, "Let's begin by stretching." I began to stretch like he taught me. He smiled when he saw me. 

He taught me how to throw punches and kick in case there were a lot of kidnappers. We did not notice the time until Claude came to tell me that my family was waiting for me to eat dinner. I looked at the clock on the wall and noticed that it was already 6pm. I looked at Sebastian but he was already gathering his stuff. I smiled at Claude then said, "Tell them I will be eight there, please." He nodded then left. I walked up to Sebastian then said, "When will you be back?" He had a shocked look then said, "I'm not sure." I nodded my head and he left but not before giving me a soft kiss on my forehead. I blushed then he walked away quickly. I put my hand over it then walked to the dinning room. 

My aunt Evanna was still at home and when she saw me she said, "You are such a boy." I blushed then said, "Why?" She said with a smile, "You come here all sweaty and wearing gym clothes." I smiled again as I said, "I'm a very busy person." My father added, "She also likes to learn a lot." I gave him a big smile and he chuckled. We ate dinner once again as my aunt told me more stories. I really liked her being around. She would tell me things that I could not believe my father did as a child. 

When we were done eating my aunt and I went for a walk. I took her to the garden then began to show her the flowers and the maze. She said to me as she smelled the beautiful roses, "I wanted to let you know that I will be staying here for a while." I looked at her then said, "I would like that." She smiled then said, " Your father doesn't like me much because I like to tell stories of our adventures. " I laughed then said, "I love them." She gave me a hug then said, "If I ever get married I want a daughter just like you." I giggled then said, "I think you will be a good mom." She blushed then we resumed our tour. 

I found Sebastian laying in one of the benches then I walked to him then said, "Hey." He opened his eyes and smiled but as he saw my aunt he got up and bowed. I frowned but my aunt said, "You two are friends." I looked at her with a guilty look and she smiled as she said, "I won't tell." She turned and walked away. I turned to Sebastian and he said as he sat back down, "I asked to see for how long I will be there but it seems that they can't tell me an exact date because it varies on what I want to do." I sighed the said, "When you do finish just come see me." He nodded his head then said, "I promise and maybe then I will be able to tell you a secret that I carry." I looked at his curiously then said, "What secret?" He smiled back then got close to me as he said, "It's a secret for now." I laughed then said, "Fine, I can wait." He patted my head then said, "You better wait for me." I nodded my head then said as I gave him a hug, "I promise." He was surprised but hugged me back then said, "I wanted to say good bye. I leave first thing in the morning and I need to finish packing." I smiled even though I felt sad then said, "I hope you finish quickly. Good luck." He nodded his head then walked away. 

I returned to Evanna who said, "He's cute." I smiled then said, "I guess." She saw my sad look then said, "Don't be sad. He made you a promise, right?" I smiled then said, "Yes." She added, "Don't be sad you have him bewitched." I looked at her then said, "What does that mean?" She laughed then said, "It means that he made a promise that he won't break for you." I smiled and we continued walking. 

As we walked inside there was a man with my father. I looked at them talking and Evanna said, "Hello, brother." My father said, "Did you two go for a stroll?" I nodded and he said, "This is Calvin he will be teaching you starting tomorrow. I thought he was going to arrive tomorrow but it seems I was wrong." I gave him a bow then said, "Nice to meet you." He bowed too then said, "It's a pleasure, Princess." I looked at him but my father did not correct him. Evanna saw how I was uncomfortable then said, "Well we are going to my room. If you need her she will be with me." My father turned then began to speak to the man again. We made our way to her room and as we entered I saw many strange books. 

I stood in her room and was in awe as I looked around and saw the many strange things she had. She smiled then said, "I like to do magic." I turned to her with amazement in my eyes then said, "Can you show me?" She laughed as she said, "Sure." I walked to her bed and sat down. She walked to her table then said as she grabbed a piece of paper, "This paper will burn." I looked at her keeping an eye on it then it burst into flames. I gasped loudly then said, "That was not real magic." She smiled then said, "But my clothes are different now." I looked at her once black dress but now it was a wine red color. I walked up to her then said, "How did you do that?!" She laughed then said, "It's magic." I said excitedly, "Can you teach me?" She had a worried look then said, "Not everyone can do this." I said as I gave her a hug, "Please auntie teach me." She smiled then said, "I'm such a weak person." I nodded my head in denial then said, "You are so cool!" She laughed then said, "After you finish training I will teach you." I smiled then jumped and said, "Okay, it's a promise." She gave me a hug then said, "Now go rest since you have school tomorrow." I gave her a goodnight kiss then left to my room to rest.
