Jaycee’s POV
He hugged me to sleep because I couldn't stop myself from crying. Asher kept on whispering sweet words to my ear when I knew that I should be the one doing so. I should be the one comforting him.
"Hush now, baby," he softly said as he caressed the back of my head. "Let's go to the mall tomorrow. I want to buy some things for our baby."
It's the same old him. He'd keep pushing the negatives away to pretend he was fine when I knew he wasn't. I just discovered the torture that his body had experienced, yet here he is and still thinking about the stuff he wants to get for our daughter.
“Have you gotten yourself checked? What if there are implications?” umiiyak pa rin na tanong ko.
