The mission

Jeremy's POV It's been exactly two years since I came to earth and my stay here has never been boring for once. Back when I was in the demon realm, I heard from some demons that visited the earth that there were so many strange things on earth and they were right. The houses they build on earth is completely different from our own and even the people themselves are different. Instead of using horses for transportation too, they use something called car that apparently has four wheels. They also have motorcycles and aircrafts. The most fascinating thing I saw here was TV. I was able to see people in it but there was a glass trapping those people inside. I tried talking to them but it's like I was invincible to them so I decided to break the glass so that I would be able to talk to them but it went off and I couldn't see them again. My assistant, Mia later told me that those people were recorded with something called camera and that they weren't trapped inside the TV. With so many new things to learn everyday, I doubt if I will ever get bored on earth. Fortunately, I'm able to communicate with humans even though I don't know how, because our languages are definitely different. Within just two years of being on this earth, my company has surpassed every company in the world and is now the biggest. Before I came to earth, the demon king already put some things in place, like the building, the employees and all that. The only thing I did was take over as soon as I arrived and secured billions and trillions of contracts. I was able to get the hang of things quickly and that's how I've gotten this far. Although I used my powers to surpass other companies since they are owned by humans. One thing I noticed as soon as I came here though is that the women here are shameless. Back in the demon realm, the women carry themselves with pride and do everything to maintain their dignity but it's different here. Women literally throw themselves at men, especially at artists and I heard it's called fangirling. They also wear little clothes that leave nothing to the imagination and no matter how much they try to sugarcoat it, I think humans are too corrupt. It's true that some of the ladies are beautiful, especially those ones referred to as models but none of them has ever caught my eye. Maybe it's because of the prejudice I have towards them but I don't think I can ever fall in love with any of them. I really don't blame my dad for falling for a vampire because how can he fall in love with these humans that always throw themselves at men? My secretary's voice jolted me out of my thoughts and I snapped back to reality. She was a human unlike Mia that came with me from the demon realm. Because we were not so familiar with how things were done here, a human secretary was hired for me and that was one of the reasons we were able to achieve a great feat so quickly. She reminded me of the meeting I had in thirty minutes and we both left to the venue where the meeting was to take place. After taking a shower, I was about sleeping due to the long hectic day at work when my assistant informed me that someone from my father was here to see me. He hasn't sent anyone for the past two years so I guess he's finally here to tell me what the mission is all about. I've also been curious about it but I just wish he came on a different day. It was already getting dark but the man was at a five star restaurant, saying he missed the mortals' food. I understand that they're food is really great but how can he eat as soon as he arrived when he was sent on an errand? I don't blame him though. He's one of my father's most trusted men and my father thinks highly of him. "BTS is holding a concert in the auditorium next to the restaurant, do you want to stop by after the meeting? You've always wanted to see them" Mia said on our way to the restaurant. I told her before that I wanted to attend one of their concerts if I had the chance so that I can see why these women are so obsessed but I don't think today is the day. "I will just go home after the meeting today, maybe some other time" I shrugged. We arrived at the restaurant in a few minutes and I met Glorio, my father's messenger eating everything he could get his hands on in the restaurant. "For how long are you going to continue being like this?" I asked frustratedly when he kept eating without sparing me a glance. "You're here?" he asked in between a mouthful and smiled at me while I scoffed in response. He finally kept the food aside after a while when I kept glaring daggers at him. "So what's the mission? I guess that's why you're here?" I asked. "You're right! The mission is not an easy one. It involves many immortals including vampires and demons so you have to tread carefully. Don't forget that you're the Demon King's only heir" he said. "I've heard you. Now that you're done nagging, can you tell me exactly what the mission is?" I asked impatiently. "Some immortals are gathering the ten artifacts. They plan to wipe out all the mortals and take control of the heaven and the earth. The demon king ignored them at first because one of the artifacts was lost thousands of years ago but recently, we received intel that the artifact had been found so it's not as simple as we thought it was anymore. Fighting against them alone would be an impossible feat even for the demon king because there are different immortal beings in the group but the most important thing is that we don't know who their leader is. Because of this, you will have to complete a mission first before you deal with them" he explained and paused to see if I understood. "So this mission birthed another mission? Interesting. So what's the first mission?" I asked. "There is a mortal girl here that has the Phoenix emblem. You need to find her so that she can assist you in the battle against those mortals" he continued. "A mortal girl with the Phoenix emblem? Are you kidding me? How is that even possible?" I sneered. "Don't ask me how it's possible. Just keep in mind that it's your first mission. Since it's a mortal, she probably doesn't know how to use her powers yet so you have to teach her before moving on to the main mission" he said. "So how am I supposed to find the girl? Is the emblem on her forehead?" I asked. "I'm not sure about that. If she was an immortal, it will probably be on her forehead but since it's a mortal and there's no precedent, I'm not sure about that. Anyway, the demon king said there's a connection between both of you and you will recognize her immediately so it's left to you to handle. I want to finish my food now. Any other question you have can wait till I'm done" he concluded. "Why would I wait for you to finish eating? I don't have any more question so I'm leaving" I said and left. By the time I got outside, the place was crowded because the concert will be starting soon. The fans were so many and I wondered just how many they were. Nancy's POV Oh my goodness!! I can't believe this. The day I've been waiting for all the days of my life is finally here. BTS will be having a 3-days concert here and I plan to attend all three. I already bought the tickets before coming to Mexico in case they got sold out and they really were sold out. My friend Melissa here in Mexico is also a BTS fan and we plan to go together but only on the first day since she's not as obsessed as I am. We spent hours getting dolled up like K-Pop idols when we don't even know if any of the members will notice us in the concert. I looked pretty like a Barbie doll and Melissa was also pretty herself. "You should have auditioned for K-Pop with your pretty looks and you would have been an unmatched visual" Melissa said. "My mom will kill me if she even knows that I'm a fangirl and you want me to audition?" I rolled my eyes. "I'm just saying. Anyway, we need to leave now or we will be late" she said and I nodded in agreement. By the time we arrived at the venue, the fans were already going in and in the process of trying to get there quickly, I bumped into someone. I raised my head and was trying to apologize but my rosary suddenly shone brightly and the man went flying about 300 meters away from me leaving me speechless. What just happened?!
