The air was electric with tension as Ariana and Ramona faced off. Alex, Taylor, and Ethan stood ready, prepared to defend their friend and mentor.
"You're finished, Ramona," Ariana declared, her voice firm. "Your darkness will not consume this school."
Ramona sneered, her eyes flashing with hatred. "You're no match for me, Ariana. I have the power of the shadows on my side."
With a wave of her hand, Ramona sent a dark blast hurtling towards Ariana. But Alex was quick, using her powers to deflect the attack.
Taylor and Ethan joined the fight, using their own unique abilities to drive back Ramona's minions.
The battle raged on, with neither side giving an inch. But Alex knew they had to end it soon - the darkness was growing stronger by the minute.
"Ariana, we need to finish this!" Alex shouted.
Ariana nodded, her eyes blazing with determination. "Together, we can do it!"
With a fierce cry, the four friends launched a final, decisive attack. Ramona stumbled back, her powers waning.
And in that moment, Alex knew they had won.
But as the darkness receded, Alex saw something that made her heart skip a beat - Ramona's eyes, once full of hatred, now shone with a glimmer of recognition.
