The innocent bride

Nicole***** ******** "You're late!" I snapped at the make up artist, placing both hands on my waist as she got busy with her preparation. "Am sorry Miss Bruce. It won't happen again." She whispered softly, trying not to look into my eyes. "Better." I stated bluntly before walking to have my seat. Am Nicole Bruce the only child of Mr Alfonso Bruce. I didn't have a mother and papa died when I was sixteen, leaving me to his world of wealth and luxury. Minutes later,the make up artist rounded up her work and took her leave. Yeah I have an event to attend and I've got to look great. "Your order just came in. Should I start your bath?" A maid asked, running after me but careful not to trip and fall. "Yeah. You can, I'll be leaving in an hour time. Make sure everything is set." I said and pushed a door before walking in. The purple curtains welcomed me as I stripped out of my dress. Just then,my phone beeped. Of course it was what I expected. "What's wrong this time around? Don't you ever understand what stay away from me means?" I yelled at the person. Silently hating the day I found out about it. "I've sent all the supplies and it'll remain like that. Don't show your face to me!" I flung the phone across the room, derailing my life. Tears threatened to pour out of my eyes as my second phone began to buzz. It was the inspector. I didn't bother picking it cause his reports are always the same. My Albert Lexon is missing and there's nothing I can do about it. Right. Just like what nanny Tabitha always says "money can't buy you everything." ************* After putting myself in check,I got out of my Maserati and of course several reporters were desperate to hear from me. Flashes got into my eyes and I took turns of photos before walking on the red carpet into the grand hall. I sighted Albert's mother Mrs Sylvia Lexon. She was in a circle of women, probably gossiping about another woman. In my six years of dating Albert, I've come to know that his mom is much of a gossip and likes everything she does to be top notched. Sighting an empty table,I carried myself gingerly, swaying my hips and sashaying my body until I planted myself on a chair. Hailey waved at me, smiling sweetly as she pulled her boyfriend with her. Hailey is Albert's cousin,she stayed with them until last year when she left abruptly, making the family really sad. Especially Albert. They'd been fond of each other and it hurt him to see her leave. And when he learnt about her relationship with Jude he went ballistic. Saying she was too young for him but of course the little muffin never listens. "Hey you're looking beautiful." Hailey said, pulling me up from my chair and checking me out. I exchanged pleasantries with Jude and we settled on our seats. It's actually a business party and am gonna represent dad even if I know almost nothing about the company. *********** The party was coming to it's c****x when I saw Aunt Gabrielle leaving in a huff. She seemed to be in a hurry and this got me curious. Aunt Gabrielle is Albert's aunt, she's into real estate business so what could possibly be her reason for leaving like that? As I pondered on this, Sylvia walked up to me. She wrapped her arms around me, kissing my forehead and leaving a smear of make up on it. "He'll be back. He'll be fine." She whispered assuredly. "Yeah I know. I just want him to be safe." I whispered. Gabrielle**** ********** "Ma'am everything is set. The house has been bought." Saleem said, handing me a brown envelope. "Make sure it gets delivered." I whispered before turning to leave. "Is Lex ready?" I asked without turning my back. "Yeah. Mission begins soon." He said sternly and walked away. I got into my car and drove off. Plans are about to be changed. Lives are about to be ruined. What else can I ask for? I tuned into a radio station and raised the volume. It's party night. I smiled and moved my body to the tune of the music. It's gonna be freaking fun!!! ********************* Nicole***** ******** "Put it right there,yeah. Move it a little." I instructed the ladies assisting me in designing the hall. It's been a week since the party took place and a week to my supposed wedding. I wasn't supposed to take this job but I had to do it to take my mind off Albert for the next few days. I gulped the water from the plastic bottle and wiped my mouth with a tissue before taking a good look at the interior designs. The purple colour complimented the cream coloured walls and the black coloured tiles. Certain that I'd done an applaudable job,I walked out of the hall, leaving my crew to organize every other things. Right now,I needed to be in my safe haven. ************* Cool breeze slapped my face the minute I stepped out of the car. Carrying my hair and wrapping it in my scarf,I walked into the church. Papa was not a religious person but nanny Tabitha made it compulsory for me to visit the church on Sundays. I took the back role, thinking about my life. At least this is the only place I can wear my frown. The only place I don't have to pretend to be happy. I let the tears slide out of my eyes, remembering the awful events of that terrible day. A sob raked my body as I bowed my head. This time,I need to let the tears roll freely. I need to let it all out. I started mumbling inaudible words, shaking violently until I fell to the ground. *********** Gabrielle******* ********** The minute I stepped out of my car,my smile seized. I recognized Nicole's car. Yeah she's the only one who can afford it in the whole of "SANTA DE ORO". But what's she doing here on a Friday? My heart began to thud loudly as I made my way into the church. There she laid, probably sleeping or dead I chuckled lightly and tapped my chin. If only Alfonso can see his precious jewel like he calls her. She's not my priority right now so I made my way to the present lodge. He's got something coming for him. ********* "Hello miss_" he stopped his statement and gasped in fright. "Hello father." I whispered, taking my seat across him and opening my legs wide. "Miss Lexon." He called, trying not to look at my opened legs. I made sure not to put on any pant or hose. If he thinks he has me in his net, he's in for a surprise! "Let's talk. I know you saw what happened on that night." I said slowly, careful not to alert anyone standing outside. ********** He made a confused, almost devastating face but that's not gonna work now. "I_ I" "you what?" I cut him short, standing on my feet and hiking my dress up. His eyes grew larger, almost bulging out of it's socket. "You know what I mean. Let's make a deal, shouldn't we? Father?" I cooed, biting his ear lobe softly and pressing my boobs to his shoulders. His sharp intake of breath pushed a smile out of me. Since I already had an effect on him,I took his lips in mine, kissing him softly, tenderly while trailing my hands over his priestly garment. ************ His moan filled my ears as I sucked his ear lobe into my mouth. "You must keep your mouth shut or you won't get any of these." I whispered, pointing to my p*ssy. His eyes followed my hand and spit drooled out of his mouth. "Do we have a deal?" I asked, rearranging my dress and my hair. He must have been in the skies cause he just nodded while I smiled,I blew him a kiss and walked out. ********** Nicole******* ********** I must have slept for what felt like hours cause by the time i woke up,it was getting dark. My head felt heavy and my throat felt dry. I managed to pull myself up and walk out to my car. I switched my phone on and several messages welcomed me but one got my attention. "Ma'am she came up with heart defect. Am really sorry for troubling you." I stared at the message in fright. My legs pulled me into the car and I drove off to where I was needed. "Mummy!" Carlos screamed the minute he saw me but his nanny restrained him from coming to me. I didn't bat an eye lashes at him,just walked into the house,up the stairs and into clarita's bedroom. Of course the doctors and nurses were at her service but she looked pale. My throat tightened into a notch as is stretched my hand to touch her. I took my hands back and ran out of the bedroom,my heart threatening to explode as I heard the beeping sound of Carlos wheel chair. I raised my head up,and there he was,with a tissue. He handed it to me and I didn't hesitate to take it. Tears rolled freely out of my eyes as my heart clenched. I've been distant to my own kids all because of a bastard.
