Chapter 16: Kayla's pov It was a quiet drive to the party location. The kind of quiet that clings to your skin and amplifies your thoughts. Dante was seated next to me. Jake and Tiana were in the vehicle directly behind us. I still felt like I was by myself. Dante didn't even look at me.
