Episode Twenty one: Dawn of a new age.

"I want all the boys of the center village to appear before me! This is an imperial order" The old man shouted. "Cancel this beast hunt and give each students the desired score."

Everyone started moving their things, some were collecting the gems and crystals of the beasts. While some were writing down the scores of each mages that participated in the hunt, including the unlucky ones, The mages with lightning ability.

"Man are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Butch said as he was still on the tree viewing all what is happening. Not only him but Liza and melody were also watching. Melody was amazed by the display of their magics the most.

What she couldn't have done, these small mages did. She couldn't believe that there are still magician out of her own world that can perform such magics. If the student Mage are this powerful and talented, then it means she still have a long way to go.

Who knows, maybe she might also be a student Mage.

"Just keep shut, don't let them hear you. I can't perform magics!" Liza replied with fear in her mind.

'Oh no! this guys are more fearful than the beasts.' Liza thought. As she was lost in her own thoughts, she didn't noticed that a stone beast was crawling its way up to her. She was at the branch of the tree and the beast had almost reached her.

The stone beasts were the beasts that had attached themselves to the alligator beasts the other time. Causing the drowsiness and misbehaving of the beast. It was also the stone beast that had caused the alligator beast to fall asleep.

Finally, as fast as the beast could craw, it reached the branch of the tree, where Liza was.

"Arrrgh!!" Liza shouted as the beast got attached to her arms. "Get it off me, get it off me... Arrrgh!"

"Shhhh, shhhh. Liza calm down, they'll hear you."Melody said, but it was no use.

"Okay, I can help you. Just stay still and keep silent." But this time, it was worse.

Liza was starting to behave strangely. She's a kinda getting crazy, bit by bit. The stone beast was just spreading its whole body on her arm. It was getting wider and wider till it now covered her own arms. But that wasn't the end, it still kept on spreading onto her shoulders to face and stomach.

Melody tried to perform all sort of magics she could use but she was denied of the chance as another problem was at their front.

When the stone beast had first attached itself onto Liza, she shouted so loud that the knights and mages that were below heard her and had quickly spotted her on the tree with two others, Melody and Butch.

The knights brought out a rope and mounted on the tree. It was as if they were walking on the tree. They were walking vertically on the tree using the ropes as support, but there are some things that needs to be explained, because this movements can not be casually done by anybody.

They caught Melody and Butch, but left Liza because the beast can also get attached to another person, if touched.

The beast is like some kind of parasite that takes over the host's body. The stone beast had almost taken over Liza's body. Part of her body that was taken over by the beast was now ashy in colour and it was made of stone.

Soon, after so much struggle with the beast, there was a clear winner as the stone beast had taken complete control of Liza's mind. Liza was feeling dizzy and she slept off, as she slept off on the tree, it didn't take a while that she had fallen from the branch of the tree.

"Everyone move away from her, let her fall. If the beast gets attached to you, no one will heal you. Get away from her." The teacher who had been monitoring the lightning mages said.

"Nooo!! Liza. Let me go, she's my sister." Butch shouted with his eyes full of sorrow. He wasn't able to set himself free from the knights that had captured him. And Melody's magic wasn't working at all.

"My sister!! Lizaaaaa!!" Butch shouted again, struggling to set himself free.

"This is gonna be a great fall, everyone move aside. Move away farther." a knight instructed.

'Liza the stone' was falling from the branch of the tree at a very high position. She kept on approaching the floor. And she was about to collide against the hard earth, but at the very last minute, an unexpected predicament or so do we call it. It was a surprise to everyone in two ways;

Kurtis was feeling sorry for how Butch and melody were crying. His blood boiled as the teacher said they should not try to rescue the infected lady that was falling down from a tree.

Even if she's infected, was it not against her will. Can't she at least be rescued from such a great fall.

Kurtis got angrier as everyone start to move back, not trying to help the lady.

' I'm sure such a fall can kill her instantly, but I've got to do something. If I were her brother, how far will I go. How will I react to such?! ' Kurtis concluded as he start activating his lightning magics.

And boom! the first surprise was that Kurtis was able to activate his lightning powers.

"What is that?" some mages were amazed as they saw the person they all expected to have fallen down, floating mid-air. Not just that, but purple lightning bolt was wrapped around her.

And that is the second surprise.

"During my days, I've never seen such lightnings before. Not our normal already known colour but purple lightning. How come a blue lightning became a purple lightning. Strange?!" The old man was soliloquizing.

"Lee, do you know something about it?" the man that was a bit younger than the old man asked, hearing the thoughts of the man.

"Lawman, this is a Dawn of a new age. The generation of the strange!"
