Jenni pov

I was just coming inside from training i wanted to learn how to fight better, so every morning at three am I would get up, get dressed than head outside, I would train with the warriors, they were a lot stronger than I thought they would be,

I would never think they weren't ever again,

I had to put my jaw back in place several times, But i had learn quickly to block their hits, after training I went up to my room to shower, Rey always picks the wrong time to mindlink me, he asked for me to come to his office, i said fine,the link was shut off, I wondered what he had to talk to me about. I decided to study, it was time for my class to start.

so I cut on the computer than did my class, i had to take a test than fax it to the teacher, i was happy that Rey put a fax machine in here, that machine helps a lot,

that way i dont have to email it to them and they get it later on, the fax machine takes it right there so they could check it out, once i was done, i got up than headed toward his office, I was starting to have feelings for this man, we have talked a few times, we sat on the front porch and just talked about the weather. or he would tell me about his parents, we never talked about being mates because i didn't want a mate, i wanted to be by myself, but i was starting to like him, i walked into his office i didn't sit down, i walked over to the window looking out, i noticed he shut and locked the door than walked over to me, we both just stood there in silence, i softly sighed then said,

‘So, you wanted me here so we could talk. Have you made up your mind about rejecting me to save your pack? Or are you going to keep me captive?” I know i snapped at him but I was a little tired from training and studying and I was a little hungry, but my hunger went away when he said he needed to tell me something about hisself, I was just joking when i said

‘What, that your really the king of wolves, that you are the most powerful wolf in the country,” I was laughing because i was just trying to make a joke, i was sorta happy he didn't want to reject me, so i made a joke, but when i saw his face my laughter stopped and my jaw dropped open a few times, I didn't know what to say, I found my words,

“Are you freaking serious, REY? I was just joking, "Why the h3ll didn't you tell me this when I found you in that damn wolf trap?” I knew I needed to get him out of that trap and then work on his leg, I knew he didn't have time, but damn, drop a few hints to me, so i wouldn't be so shocked,

‘Rey, I'm not ready to be Queen, I never wanted this, I want to become a doctor, this is my life goal here,

‘Jenni, You can be Queen and a doctor, i will not take that away from you, i just don't want you running away from me again that’s all, Simon will not be able to come near you, i won't let him harm you,” than it happened, right in the middle of our serious conversation the damn phone started ringing, He got up putting it on speaker, than said,

‘This is Rey. How can I help you today,

“Yes, you can help me by giving up my mate, i chose her a long time ago, I told her never to run from me again, and look what she had done,

She will be highly punished for what she has done, Do you hear me, give her up, or should I destroy your pack, I will come with fire torches and burn all the houses down.” This is what I feared the most, He threatened Rey he will burn the houses down if he doesn't give me up, I was so sick of being scared, I was so sick of running from this man, So I spoke up

Simon, is that really you? This is Jenni, I never wanted to be with you. I know that you can hear me clearly, I was never yours, but you made everyone leave me alone so i would be a lone and depend on you, but i never did want to be with you, you chased everyone away that I ever cared about, I know you killed your father, And now you threaten me, I ran because I wanted to. Because your father helped me to get away from you, If you come for me Simon, you will die, im done running away,” He started laughing, his mother fuc/ker thought i was just talking, i wanted to rip out his throat,

‘You heard what I said, Jenni. Two months, if you do not come to me, i will come for you. This is not a threat. This is a promise,

‘And you heard what I said, You come for me,I will kill you,” He hung the phone up, Looking over at Rey, I said,

“Im done running from him, he killed the only man i thought of a father to me, he was a wonderful alpha, and now he is coming after me and your kingdom, I won’t run anymore, I want to work on us, but you have to give me time to adjust, I won't give up on my dream of becoming a doctor, Rey, this is my dream to be someone that heals people and make them well,”

‘Jenni, i said it before and i will say it again, I will never take being a doctor away from you, your people will need you more than ever, I know your amazing healer, you helped me then helped me heal, You don't know this, But my feelings for you have grown, but i will take things your pace okay, we don't have to rush into anything, I do have one more thing to show you, do you want to come outside with me?” What is this man up to? I nodded. we both went outside, we went out into the yard,

‘What you're about to see is hidden from most people. You think this could be just a pack, but just wait and see,” He started chanting in a weird voice saying some weird words, and then some kind of shield went around us, everything was changing, my mouth fell open again, the pack house was now a huge castle, there were guards at the front guarding, how come i never seem them before.
