The past

    Alex look tired, her hair was a mess and half of her make up was gone. She looked at me with a defeated eyes.

  "Lex, was you in a battle or something" I grinned at her with amusement.

  "Yes and no." Her voice went from soft to harsh and I was getting death stared by her drained eyes.

  "Well how about a night at mine and coffee in the morning?" I wiggled my brows making her laugh.

   "Is that a date?" She asked with sarcasm. And I only smirked back. "Yes"

    "Then is settled" she capped her hands together and made her way from behind the bar. I finally could hug her properly now as she was standing in front of me. Without hesitation I wrapped my arms around her. She was taller then I remember but then what did I expected after a year away from her. She smelled like rose's mixed with large amount of alcohol. I missed her so much.

   She finally wiggled her way out of my arms and looked at me. "How have you been since you know?" She almost whispered the last part. My heart stopped for a second. I didn't want to talk about it then why would she think I will talk about it now. "Yes" I whisper back avoiding her stares. I know she will no it believe me but I didn't want to talk about it here or even ever if that was possible. We stood in silence. Neither of us wanted to make a move as to sacred something will happen.

  Lex took a deep breath. "So everything been alright?" Now it got me worried. "Yea why?" Now she looked away. "Nothing just checking" her voice was shaky and quite.

  "Lex, what's happening?" I knew she was lying. I known her for year now. She sighed " Let's go I will explain everything in the car". She walked not even waiting for me. I followed her fast pace, trying not to get left behind. She stopped in front of a navy blue jaguar. God we assassins know what is best to pick. She went straight for driver seat and I made myself comfortable in the passenger seat next to her. She was tenses. Her hands were shaking and her breathing was inregular. She started the car and asked for the address. It was 15 minutes drive but it felt like hours in this uncomfortable silence. We arrived and I invited her in. I got to kitchen making us both coffee and join Alex in the living room.

  For next few minutes we still sit in silence but I had enough of it. "Alex Brown. What is happening?" I use her full name to make her understand that this is serious. She looks up from the cup of coffee that she been starring at for past 5 minutes and her eyes meet mine. I can see terror in them. "Veronica Blackburn has been hunting the tram down." My brow goes up. "Blackburn? Where have I heard that name?" I give Lex confused look.I can hear her swallow the saliva. Is her nervous tick. "Alex? Where have I heard that name?" I start to panick. There is lump building up in my throat.

   She takes a deep breath. "You killed her pack." The realisation hits me hard. I have been on killing spree since I have shifted at age 12. I killed without looking back. I slathered many  werewolves packs. When I turn first everything was heighten including my powers I couldn't control myself for years. It took the organisation 5 year to find a way to control me. I was brutal. Alex knew all of that first hand as I saved her 6 years ago from a vampire slave trade. That was just before I shifted. Everything changed after that. Even oif I ripped heads of all the wolfs that stepped in my way she sticked with me through thin and thick. But I have been clean for a year now since the accident on the airport. 

  "Bea? Are you listening to me? This is important." She tried to look as calm as possible. "Sorry I wasn't. What was you saying?" Her compose broke I could see tears slowly leaving her golden eyes. "She is looking for you " I frowned. "Is not time for acting like a child! You made enemies over they year and they coming for you! Sarah thinks there is leak in the organisation and they know were you are. I want you to move with me. This way they will not find you." I took deep breath. I have been running my whole life. I have been running from the mistakes I made. "Alex, I'm staying I have to take responsibility for everything I done." She looked like I punched her in the face." W-what? Are you crazy? What if he finds you?" 

  I smiled "Lex I have been running from that monster all my life is time I  stand my ground." I never felt so calm. All my enemies were folding new Orleans and I have never felt so excited.'We are strong Bea.' Draka stated proud. She was right. "I will take them all down even if I have to go back to my old way. I like this city. I will not hide anymore." Alex eyes were wide open. She looked down like she thinking something. Then looked up again analysing me. Deep sigh left her lips.

  "Well then I can't let you do that by yourself. We have a 2 weeks till they are all here, that mean we have to train your wolf." I smiled pulling my phone out. I scrolled down my contact list. And clicked one specific name. The ringing began.

 "Hello" the faint voice answered.

  "Alice. In need a favour."
