Sierra's POV Walking down the aisle wasn't part of my dreams at all. I mean, every girls dream is marry the man they truly love but in my case? I'm not marrying the man I truly love because we're bound to the contract. My life was ruled by the man who offered me money to be his wife, and although that's insane. I accept that money for my brother. Being kidnap by some crazy men wasn't enough for him to stop our wedding, so here we are. Facing his people with force smile engraved to my face, even I wanted to stop from walking and run away from this world. But how? How can I escaped this world if my brother's is in the line of life and death? The music plays continue, but my heart beating like it wanted to came out of my chest. My eyes landed to a man waiting at the end of the aisle, his blanked expression and serious reaction added to my fear. I receive nothing but criticism at every girl's eyes. "Is she the new wife?" The young lady in the right side speak. "Yes, she is. I don't understand why Brandon has to marry other girl because he already had a wife and this wedding doesn't make any sense," the lady on her side whispered, although I can still hear it since they're talking louder. "Indeed!" The other lady muttered when I pass her by. These people won't understand if I told them what's the real reason behind this wedding. Even me have no idea why do I have to marry him. He put ring into my finger, but still need to marry him publicly. I shut my ears and ignore those whispers coming to the guests, and keep walking focusing to Brandon. I take a deep breath because I am inches away from him, and from the moment my feet reach his place? I'm going to be his acting wife until this contract has fully done. Brandon lend me his hand when I reach the aisle. I accept his hand and we face the priest together, he didn't say anything to me. Which I guess that is my sign to shut up and speak until he say so. "Dearly beloved, we're gathered here today to join this man and woman in their holy matrimony." This is it. The ceremony started and my life waving at me… Our priest glanced to the man in my side, "Brandon James Miller, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live in holy matrimony, to lover her, to honor her, to comfort her and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all the others, for as long as you both shall live?" "I do," he answered without feelings. After that, he glanced at me as a sign it's my turn to be asked, "Sierra Marie Rodriguez, do you take this man to be your husband, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all the others, for as long as you both shall live?" I looked down and thought about it even though my answer was needed immediately, but somehow this wedding made me frightened. This man is terrifying and my life is going to be ruled by him… "Miss Rodriguez? Your answer please," The priest called me name but I remained staring at the floor. "It's too late to back out, Sierra. Did I told you what are the consequences if you choose that path?" His voice linger to my ears, enough to capture my eyes and attention. But in my surprised, he's already looking at me. "You have one answer to say and I'm expecting that to be a yes. Unless you wanted to die, Sierra?" This man is awful terrifying. I exhaled deeply before facing the priest, "I do. I am taking this man to be my husband…" "Repeat after me," he murmured and look at that book, "I, Brandon James Miller, taking you, Sierra Marie Rodriguez to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, and for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart." "Sierra, repeat after me." I swallowed my saliva and nodded, "I, Sierra Marie Rodriguez, taking you, Brandon James Miller to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart," We said together. "The ring please," He stated. An adorable little boy approached us, he handed us our rings and I gave him a smile. He go back to his post before Brandon and I face each other. He put the ring to my ring finger and uttered, "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith, and abiding love." And then, I place the ring to his ring finger and said, "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith, and abiding love…" Priest asked us to join hands and declare, "By Virtue by the authority vested in me under the law of the state of America, I pronounce you husband and wife." He smiled to us, "Brandon Miller, you may now kiss your bride." Brandon lift my veil and stared to my eyes, his eyes suddenly showed expression. As if he's been in this situation before and remember a happy memory he had. Of course he's been in this situation, Sierra. He got married before and you're just the substitute. He move his face closer to me, causing me to close my eyes and waited for his lips to mine. And then, I felt his soft lips to mine. Claiming me passionately. So, I think this is it? This is going to be my first day as a billionaire's acting wife.
