Though the prospect had not anticipated the extent of his bond, Vlladimir was prepared to commit and was hoping for a special yet gruesome ending. The poor soul belonged to the Omega clan of wolves, and this weakest clan named her Aila. He was an Alpha, known to his serpents as Vlladimir, and he was the most powerful and feared of all. Since Aila's birth, his clan has been watching her in preparation for a mission that he will eventually fulfill when he is mature enough to do so. That means he, as the pack's leader, will change her faith in any way he can—not even inadvertent connections between their fate and the supernatural world will deter him.

1: The Encounter
She writhes and screams in terror at his firm grip around her neck especially when she feels like her throat is going to burst. "P-please d-don't kill me." Her voice is barely above a whisper. She couldn't resist the urge to pull off the man's mask when she finally had the chance. With a sudden jerk, she grabbed the edges of the mask and pulled hard. The mask came off revealing the man's face but when she saw his face, her heart skipped a beat. He was smiling like a devil, his eyes fixed on her, as if challenging her to do something about it. His eyes were cold and calculating. The man greeted her with a wide smile revealing a row of sharp teeth. "Hello, you cursed b***h," he said before laughing. Her long leg moves quickly and kicks him directly between his legs, which is his most sensitive area. He clutches his groin after she succeeds in doing that. "You b***h!" His grip slipped and then it happened. He yelled. "I will kill you now!" Although she may feel like giving up at times, she always manages to find a reason to keep going. She's miserable and scared of the stranger who's trying to kill her. What's the reason for this person's attack? She managed to break his grip and started running away as fast as she could. But it seems that there is no one around to help her while she screams for help. "P-Please h-help me! Daddy! M-mom!" " She's lost, totally lost. She's surrounded by huge trees, tall grass and the only light comes from the moon. She runs like crazy until she finds herself in a clearing. The silence is only interrupted by her heavy breathing. Out of nowhere, she sees a figure nearby. It's not the same guy she saw earlier but there's something about the stranger that feels familiar. She watches the stranger nervously, not knowing what to do next. "D-don't hurt me, p-please." "I won't," he replied quickly. Her face lit up with joy. But suddenly, her expression changed and she burst into tears. "Oh my G-God, please help me! There's someone behind me who wants to hurt me. Please, c-can you help me?" she pleaded through her sobs. If he could only imagine the fear and anxiety she must be feeling right now. He raises his hand to comfort her and gently says, "Don't worry, love. Please calm down, okay?" His shirtless approach with a toned physique is captivating and hard to ignore. She thought she knew him from somewhere but couldn't quite remember where. When he stops in front of her, his fit body has a strong effect on her and this admiration causes a flutter of excitement in her stomach. She was scared but still felt attracted to the stranger even though she knew she should be careful around new people she met tonight. When he held her hand, she felt relieved. He said, "Don't worry, I've got you," hoping to help her feel better. He flashed a comforting smile and asked, "Someone tried to hurt you?" She appreciated his concern and was thankful for his presence. Despite the fact that he was naked and only wearing a form-fitted underwear, she chose to focus on his kind gesture rather than his alluring charm. "Thanks a ton for your help! I really appreciate it," she said genuinely. ""Let's get the heck outta h-here." Is it only the darkness that blurs his face when they get too close? The quarter moon's radiance makes him somewhat visible, but she can't bear to look at him completely due to the inexplicable attraction and sensation he ignites in her. This sudden heat she felt toward him is new and she's struggling to keep it under control. The guy's grin disappears as he takes a step forward, getting more serious. He leans in and asks, "What's the deal? Who's following you?" "I d-don't know him, but I can pay you any sum you wish. Please help me now." The sudden appearance of animal sounds frightened her again but he appeared fearless amidst the howling. "He whispers in her ear again, "Don't worry, you'll get over this fear. Trust me." She recognizes this man's scent but where did he meet him? She is too afraid to stay here after several howling fits that get really loud. The growling sounds appeared to be nearby but she couldn't determine their source. Then she heard the sound of splintered, dried wood a few times which made her even more anxious because she had a strange feeling that someone was still pursuing her. She tightly holds the man's hand and pulls him, "Let's l-leave this place." Aila believes there are dangerous animals nearby despite not seeing any. "Even the toughest people tremble in fear when their death is near," said the man. "H-huh, you mean m-me?" What does he mean by that? It's heartbreaking to think that she has had to face so many difficult challenges in her life. Despite everything she's been through, she has always tried to stay strong. Unfortunately, her family's abandonment has left her feeling less resilient than she used to be. She has had to deal with some truly traumatic experiences, including a time when a man scratched her arm and choked her. Even though it must have been so difficult for her, she still remembers his face vividly. "I have bruises all over my body," she said, wincing in pain. Although her wounds were not very deep, the blood stain from the latest attack was still visible. "The man who attacked me had long hair and a scar across his cheek," she explained to the helpful stranger. "If you know the area well, could you please guide me to the Brendile ranch?" Returning home is her only wish and she is willing to do whatever it takes to get there. "Please don't hurt me like he did," she pleads. The memories of the brutal attack are still fresh in her mind and she cannot bear the thought of going through that again. "It's not time yet, Aila," he whispered abruptly but she heard it loud and clear. As the howling and snarling continue, she becomes more paranoid constantly looking around and flinching at every sound. "Who are you? How d-did you know my name?" she asked, barely getting the words out. "I don't know what's going on. What are you saying? Do you k-know me?" "You can't run from your calling," he says loudly with a seductive grin. "You'll understand everything one day, Aila. Run!" He's now pointing to the group of wolves that are watching her and getting ready to attack. She attempts to keep her cool and back away cautiously while keeping an eye out for any wolves when she learns she has wandered into the territory of a pack of wild animals. This beast has ferocious, hungry eyes, and it spits too-terrifying dripping spit out of its mouth. She attempts to look unthreatening and backs away as fast as she can, but her fear makes her legs shake and it seems like her whole body freezes to move. But what just happened is unbelievable. Slowly, everything turns black and the man vanishes completely. "Come back! Where are y-you?" Her stomach churned after he went missing. She frantically searches her surroundings desperately calling him out but there is no response. The only sound that can be heard is the howls of distant wolves which grow louder by the moment and become deafening altogether. Fear is taking over her again and she knows she doesn't have much time to save herself. An even more terrifying event occurs when she falls helplessly into an unending abyss of darkness while she runs, and loud noises resembling a primitive drumbeat with an odd sound follow echoing her scream throughout the forest. "Help!" Then she flails her arms aimlessly, cries out for help and gasps for air when she wakes up in terror from her—bad dream. Her black eyes widened in fear after realizing this: "I'm dreaming." But the feeling of unease lingers even after she wakes up. The scarlet light of the red moon shining through her window gave her goosebumps. Her window is open, and the breeze dances through her hair; she sweats profusely as the beads on her brow slowly roll down her cheeks. She keeps saying this in her mind. "It's just a dream." But after a while, she jumps out of bed when the previous loud banging returns accompanied by an unknown outside sound. Boom! Then a louder bang jolts her eyes as if her nightmare has not ended yet followed by a booming sound and howls. She's freaking frightened but she has no idea what's waiting outside. "This is not r-real," she cries. However, it abruptly ended and then there was silence. She got out of bed and slowly made her way to the window to see if anything was outside. Just as she was ready to turn, several dark silhouettes sprang out of the bushes, much to her astonishment. The people! The torches she sees through the window must mean that people are there in the bush. Suddenly, she recognizes a figure standing outside—it's Fei! "Hey, Fei!" She shouted until she looked out her window and walked back to the house. "Where are you going?" "You're up, come join us, Aila," Fei waves back. "The celebration is about to begin." The festivities. Yeah! Better join Fei and whomever else is out there before they vanish into the night than stay in her room and dwell about her dream. "Hold on, Fei!" The woman has worked on their ranch for ten years and is the most trusted and longest-serving caretaker, managing other workers as well. After pulling on a heavy jacket, she inhaled deeply and stepped towards her door—prepared to celebrate the hated festival.
