Chapter Four: She Is Beautiful

Alejandro Groups, 6:46pm

The company seems empty, only Anna working on her laptop and Edward in his office. Anna was about switching off the laptop when Edward came out of the office.

"You can go" Edward said and walked to his personal elevator, Anna quickly switched off the laptop, took her bag and also walked to the general elevator and pressed a button.

When it opened she walked in and pressed the last floor button and waited for it to open. When it opened she came out and walked out of the company, seeing it was late and it will be hard for her to get a cab now she went to Edward's car and knocked on the window, it opened.

"Sir can you please give me a ride" She asked Edward but he only ignored her and winded up the car window.

"Drive " He told the driver and the driver drove away.

"Gosh! what a man" she sighed and walked to the roadside, she began to wait for a cab or any vehicle to come but she didn't see any.

15 minutes later, she finally saw a cab coming so she waved for the cab to stop. She told the car driver where she was going and entered then the car started moving.

Some minutes later, the cab stopped and Anna payed him his money and came out of the car, she started walking to her house.

When she reached her place she opened the door and went inside.

"Evening mum" she greeted Mrs Lucia who was sitted on the sofa watching TV.

"You are back" Mrs Lucia stated.

"Yeah" Anna said simply and slumped on the sofa.

"How was your first day at work?" Mrs Lucia asked.

"Bad" Anna groaned.

"Really, what happened?" Mrs Lucia asked.

"That my boss is a punk, can you believe that man had me working all day" Anna said remembering how he made her walk countlessly to and from his office all in the name of giving her work.

"Wow really, so he is what people say about him" Mrs Lucia wondered.

"Yes and even worst" Anna shouted.

"You must have been so stressed out" Mrs Lucia smiled.

"Yes, really stressed out" Anna groaned.

"Don't worry I will teach him a lesson, but for now go and freshen up then come and have dinner, we have being waiting for you" Mrs Lucia said and rubbed her hair.

"OK mum" Anna said and stood up then walked to her room, she dropped her bag on the bed then took off her clothes and went to bathroom.

When she was done bathing she came out of the bathroom with a towel around her body, she walked to her closet then took out a yellow pyjamas, put it on then walked out of the room to the dining room.

In the dining room she met her brother Jasper sitting on one of the chairs.

"Hey sis" Jasper smiled.

"Hey, how was school " She asked.

"It was fine and how was your first day at work, hope your boss is not wicked like he is said to be" He asked as Mrs Lucia started serving them.

"Well to bad he is" Anna shrugged and he chuckled.

"You have got to manage" he said

"Yeah" she muttered and started eating.

When they were done eating she packed all the plates and took them to the kitchen for washing, she was still doing the dishes when her phone rang, she took the napkin and cleaned her hands, she checked the caller ID and when she saw it was her best friend Bianca she picked.

"Hey girl" Bianca spoke from the other line.

"Hi Bianca" Anna answered.

"You sound tired, how was your first day at work?" Rachel asked.

"Bad, that man is a psycho and he is so rude, I was working all day even after closing hours" Anna ranted.

"Oops I already told you what you were getting into when you applied for the job"

"Yeah, I am so tired right now"

"Awwwn sorry, just get some sleep" Bianca said.

"Okay, goodnight"

"Night " Bianca said and hanged up, Anna went back to the dishes.

When she was done she cleaned her hand with the napkin and walked out of the kitchen.

"Goodnight mum" She said to Mrs Lucia and went to her room, she set her alarm for 6:45am then laid on her bed and it didn't take long before she fell asleep.

The next morning 6:50am

The ringing of the alarm woke Anna up from her sleep. Yawning she stretched her body and put off the alarm then got down from the bed. She took off her clothes and walked to the bathroom then had her bath.

She walked out of the bathroom and went straight to her closet, searching for a cloth to wear, she pulled out a white shirt and a pink skirt then put them on the bed, she went to her shoe rack and where she keeps her bags then picked white heels and white hand bag and dropped it on the bed.

She walked to her dressing table and sat down on the chair in front of it, took her cream and creamed her body with it then she went to the bed and started putting on her clothes leaving the first two buttons of the shirt opened.

She walked to the front of the mirror and packed her hair in a ponytail, applied lip gloss on her lips then checked her self out, she nodded satisfied with her look so she walked to the bed and arranged her things in her bag then she picked her phone and her bag and walked out of the room to the dining room.

"Morning mum" She greeted and sat down on one of the chairs in the dining room.

"Morning baby how was your night" Mrs Lucia asked.

"It was fine and where is Jasper?" She asked when she noticed Jasper was not present.

"I am here" Jasper said walking into the dining.

"Good morning mum, Anna" He greeted and sat down.

"How was your night? " Anna asked and ruffled his hair.

"Stop scattering my hair " Jasper groaned and took her hands away from his head and Anna chuckled.

"What is so special about your hair" Anna rolled her eyes and Jasper glared at her but she ignored him and took some slice of bread and poured some tea for herself then began eating.

When Anna was done eating she stood up.

"I'm going to work" she said and walked out of the house to the road.

A cab stopped in front of her.

"Where to?" the driver asked.

"Alejandro Groups" she replied.

"Come in" the driver said and she went in then the driver drove away.

Some minutes later the car came to an halt in front of the company so she came out and paid the driver then started walking inside.

"Good morning Anna " Iris grinned as she walked to her.

"Good morning" Anna replied as they walked to the elevator.

"How was your night?" Iris asked as they entered the elevator.

"It was fine and how was yours?" Anna asked.

"It was fine and I must say your outfit is simple but beautiful" Iris complemented.

"Thanks same with yours" Anna smiled.

"Thanks" Iris smiled and the elevator opened when it had gotten to her own floor.

"See you later" Iris said and walked out of the elevator and the elevator closed while Anna pressed the floor button she was going to and waited for the elevator to open.

When it opened she walked out of it and went to her desk, she was about sitting when Edward came in.

"Good morning sir" she greeted and Edward looked at her from her head to toe, he said nothing, he only bit lips and looked away then walked into his office with one thought in his mind.

"She is beautiful"
