Chapter Three: First Day At Work 2

In The Office
"Hey bro " Marcus grinned as he walked into the office.
"Hey" Edward replied grumpily without looking up from what he was doing.
"What is up with you?" Marcus asked and sat down on the chair in front of Edward's table.
"Nothing " Edward looked at him briefly and went back to his work.
"Okay, I saw your new personal assistant and I must say she is really hot" Marcus grinned.
"Really! That witch hot, can you believe that girl dared to look into my eyes and talk back at me" Edward shot at him.
"Wow that's good, at least a girl who does not fear you" Marcus smiled.
"I hate it " Edward glared at him.
"Well that's your choice but the fact remains that she is beautiful" Marcus smirked.
"She isn't, she is ugly" Edward said but in his mind he is thinking she is quite beautiful.
"I won't agree on that with you" Marcus shakes his head.
"I don't care and I will soon sack her" Edward muttered.
"No, don't do that" Marcus leaned in, "Please" he pouted.
"Hey get your face away and don't give me that look, but you know what?" He smirked.
"What?" Marcus asked.
"I will make her pay, she will regret talking to me anyhow and learn to respect me" Edward replied, smirking widely as he pressed the signal button.
"Uh oh! only God knows what is going through that your big head" Marcus muttered and Edward glared at him.
The door opened and Anna walked in with the files.
"You called" She said.
"Yes I did, where are the files?" Edward asked.
"Here sir" Anna gave him the file and he took it, looking at it he smirked when he noticed that she printed two copies of the file instead of three.
"I said print three copies but you printed two" Edward furrowed his brows.
"You said two" She retorted.
"I said three " Edward snapped at her.
"No two" Anna snapped back.
"Three" Edward glared.

The both of them argued while Marcus was watching them with a smile on his face.
"I said two and if it was three then it's your fault" Anna shouted.
"My fault" Edward shouted back.
"Yes your fault" Anna snapped.
"How is it my fault?" Edward asked.
"It is your fault cause you were stressing me, telling me I should finish proofreading in few minutes, why won't I forget that it was three copies you told me to print" She glared.
"That's why I employed you" Edward yelled with an angry look.
"Wow! So you employed me to stress me out, well just so you know I won't allow you to do that and I think you called me for nothing, when you need me call me" Anna said and glared at him then walked out of the office.
"Oh My Gosh!" Marcus laughed out holding his stomach but he covered his mouth trying to stiffle his laugh when Edward glared at him.
"What's funny?" Edward asked still glaring at him.
"Oh nothing" Marcus replied trying to hold his laughter but he couldn't so he burst into another round of laughter.
"If you are going to keep laughing, I will advice you to leave my office" Edward said and Marcus quickly stopped laughing.
"Ok fine, I will stop laughing but I like that girl" Marcus smiled.
"And why would you like her? " Edward rolled his eyes.
"I love her boldness, like she is the first girl to confront and yell at you without getting scared and that is wonderful" Marcus smiled again.
"Seriously, all I know is that I will make sure she pays for disrespecting me" Edward frowned.
"That is your problem" Marcus said and checked his wristwatch. "I need to go now, I have a meeting with a client" he said and stood up.
"Okay" Edward replied.
"Bye honey" Marcus said and blew him a kiss then walked out of the office.
"Bye Anna" Marcus bade goodbye to Anna.
"OK bye" Anna said and continued her work.
Hours later, she was still working when a lady walked up to her.
"Hi" the lady smiled.
"Hi" Anna smiled back.
"My name is Iris" the lady called Iris stretched her hand for a handshake.
"Okay, am Anna" Anna took the handshake.
"Okay, hmm it's break so I thought I should come to you so we could have lunch together that's if you don't mind" Iris shrugged.
"I don't mind infact it would be nice, so let me finish this and we would go" Anna said and went back to her laptop.
"Okay" Iris said and waited.
"Am done" Anna said as she closed the laptop.
"OK let's go" Iris said and led the way with Anna trailing behind.
When they got to the elevator they both got in and the elevator closed while they waited for it to open. It opened after some seconds so they went out of it.
"Isn't she the boss new personal assistant?"
"She is beautiful"
"Only God knows how she is gonna cope with the boss"
"I must say I envy her beauty"
The workers kept murmuring as they walked.
"Should we eat out though there is a cafeteria in the company" Iris said and Anna thought it would be better to eat out to avoid attention.
"Let's eat out please" Anna said.
"Yeah cause with this attention, it would be better to eat outside " Iris chuckled as they walked out of the company.
"Yeah but I'm used to it" Anna shrugged.
"There is a restaurant across the road" Iris said.
"Yeah I can see it"
"But I must say you are really beautiful, with your figure eight shape, gosh I'm sure it makes men crazy" Iris grinned.
"Thanks" Anna replied as they crossed the road and went into the restaurant, they found a table so they settled down and a waitress walked to them.
"Good day ladies, what will you like to have " the waitress smiled.
"Harmurger and milkshake" Anna said.
"Bagel and Fruit juice" Iris said.
"OK your order will be here in a short time" the waitress smiled and walked away.
In few minutes, the waitress came back with their order and arranged it on the table.
"Enjoy" she smiled and walked away while they began eating.
"Hmm this so good" Anna moaned after she took a bite from the hamburger.
"Yeah cause this restaurant is quite the best around here" Iris smiled.
"Wow that's nice, I think I will come here more often" Anna replied and took another bite.
"Okay we better be fast, we have only few minutes left " Iris said looking at her wristwatch.
"Okay" Anna replied and took a sip from her milkshake.
When they were done they paid for the food and walked out of the restaurant to the company.
"See you later" Iris said and rushed off when they got to the company.
Anna chuckled and went to the elevator, pressed the 16th button and waited for it to stop.
The elevator opened and she walked out of it and walked to her desk, she had not even sat down when the signal alarm rang so she went into the office.
"Sir" Anna called.
"Where were you?" Edward asked.
"I went for break" Anna replied.
"Without my permission" Edward furrowed his brows.
"It was break time" Anna stated.
"So you went without my permission?" Edward asked.
"Yes, ok let's forget about it and get to why you called" Anna said not wanting to get into another argument.
"Wow really! You know what take this and mail it to the company stated in the paper, go to the accounting department and get the account for the recent sales, purchases and any file I need to sign" Edward ordered.
"Okay sir" Anna said and walked out of the office then started working.
