“Ki why are they being bullies?” Alicia asked me.
“They have nothing better to do because they are miserable stupid rats. They have more air in their head than a beach ball. Just ignore them Alicia.” I told Alicia.
The girls started laughing.
“That’s all she has got?” Said one of the girls to Rebecca.
I saw Liam and Mark coming over but I shook my head at them.
They stood back cautiously.
“Look at the little girl who can’t even say Kiara. Is she that much of a retard? Maybe there is incest or inbreeding in her genes.” Said Rebecca laughing.
The girls laughed more.
“Run to Mark.” I said to Alicia as I stopped the swing.
“MARK!” Alicia Screamed.
“Oh what are you going to do? Throw your w*********h at us?” Joked another of the girls.
I looked them dead in the eyes and all of them stopped laughing.
“Didn’t you ever learn to not be disrespectful bitches? I guess not because you were to busy f*****g your way through school. Hope you and any of your “AHEM” (fake cough meaning Anthony) Don’t get an std or a rotting flesh disease or they might end up like one of you.” I replied so coldly.
“Yeah you would know, wouldn’t you.” Said Rebecca.
Fear was heard in her voice but I only smirked.
“You didn’t deny it. Now apologize to Alicia or else you will end up hurt. I have a lot of rage and it’s one thing to bully me, but bully my family and you are lucky to not end up dead.” I threatened.
At this moment I noticed everyone was quiet. Alicia was sobbing quietly to Mark and Mark even looked scared. The girls remained quiet.
“Apologize!” I yelled.
“Sorry!” said all except Rebecca.
“I don’t apologize to garbage.” Rebecca replied.
I walked closer and the other girls jumped down. Rebecca hopped off the monkey bars and stood her ground.
“Apologize now or else.” I threatened.
It almost sounded like a growl.
“No.” Said Rebecca.
That’s when I charged at her, I tackled her to the ground and she kept trying to punch me but missing. She did manage to rip some of my lower shirt at the back which revealed bruises and scars. I was throwing punch after punch. I didn’t realize Rebecca wasn’t moving straight away.
“Kiara that’s enough!” Said Anthony.
“Yeah go to your tramp. Suits you, she has a shitty personality like you.” I said to him.
Anthony looked me dead in the eyes looking very angry.
“You shut your mouth. You don’t know what your talking about.” Anthony said.
“Bullshit. I saw you in the back of the diner. You make this scene because you were jealous of your friend pretending to date me, then you go to the back to f**k Rebecca. I got up to grab sauce and there wasn’t any out the front so I walked into the back and saw you. I even grabbed my things and you were too distracted to notice me even in there. So you do deserve each other. No respect, no common decency and all in all a fake.” I yelled.
Anger seethed through me. I didn’t know what was happening. Anthony looked angry but his mood changed for a second to shock then went to confusion.
“I saw what just happened.” He whispered.
“Hello! Big shock! Everyone just saw, Rebecca was being a horrible person to a young child and got her ass kicked!” I shouted at him.
“I meant I saw them change.” He whispered.
“What the f**k? I don’t know what you are on about. Leave me the f**k alone from now on. All of you, leave me alone. Mark we are going. Liam, thanks for the offer but I decided now that it’s a no.” I said out loud.
Mark carried Alicia to me and handed her to me, I instantly felt calmed down. I walked with Mark home while I held her.
“Alicia, sometimes people will be mean sweetheart but we have to learn to ignore it. Now I know you may not understand it all straight away but it will get easier okay.” I tried comforting her.
“I know Ki, I think you are amazing.” Alicia said as she hugged me the whole way home.
“Kiara, we should tell her before we risk dad hearing.” Mark said.
“We are in our driveway, he will hear us unless we go to your room.” I tell mark.
“I know. But we need to hurry.” Mark replied.
We walked to his room quickly and sat down.
“I’m hungry.” Alicia said.
“I know, just wait, Kiara has something to tell you then I will get you some breakfast.” Mark replied.
Alicia looked at me so sweetly.
“Alicia, we have a secret to tell you, but you can’t tell anyone especially dad.” I start to tell her.
“Okay I promise.” Alicia said so sweetly.
“Mom might be coming to get you and Mark out of here.” I tell her.
“Ooh yay and the 3 of us can see Callum again!” She squealed happily.
“Shh Alicia it’s a secret. Now mom isn’t getting all of us-“ Mark started to say but I interrupted.
“Not for at least a few days okay. So don’t talk about it yet.” I replied.
“Kiara you can’t just li-“ mark started to say.
“Mark Alicia is happy to go, don’t make her sad.” I replied in a happy tone.
“Fine, but she will know when it happens.” Mark whispers.
“I am aware, I need to tell her before school.” I tell him.
Yes we took the day off of school today but that’s because I wanted this family time as Mark will be gone for at least 6 years and Alicia might not remember me.
“I will make you some breakfast, we left the eggs at the park though so it will have to be toast okay.” Mark says.
“Alicia is keen on that, Nutella or cheese spread as she loves her dairy,” I joke.
“Yep. And You will eat some too.” Alicia grinned.
“I am sorry sweetie I don’t feel to well and I think I should rest after I shower.” I tell Alicia.
“But you rarely eat with us now.” Alicia cried.
“I know sweetie and I am sorry but I don’t feel well. I feel like passing out.” I tell her.
“Alicia, go in your room for a bit until breakfast is ready please.” Mark said.
“Okay.” Alicia said as she happily skipped away.
“Kiara, how long have you felt off for?” Mark asked me.
“A few days.” I answer.
“Kiara, when was your last period?” Mark asked me.
“I’m not pregnant.” I replied.
“Well go to the doctors before we leave please. I want to know you are okay.” Mark pleaded with me.
“I will, but it might be just a flu.” I lied.
“Never the less, please go to the doctors. I will not leave unless you do.” Mark said.
