Chapter 15

“Ruby f*****g King, wake your ass up.” I heard a voice enter my room, I turned myself around. I pulled the comforter over my head hiding myself deep into the covers. “I said GET YOUR ASS UP.” Why was Charlotte bothering me, I growled under the covers before emerging out of them.

When I turned over to face the annoying voice, I was meant with a very pissed off Carrot. “What’s wrong Carrot, missed me already.” I sat upright looking at her, her eye twitched in annoyance, I’m sure going to get an ear full this morning.

She huffed then crossed her arms, it’s surely going to be a long morning. “Ruby I’m going to kill you, if today ain’t the date I swear it’s soon.”

I felt a hard body jump me, I instantly fell back to the bed hitting my head hard on the pillow. Her weight pressed me down, I started to push her off but she started tackling me, this meant war.

I struggled under her, pissed off Carrot was a really strong Carrot. “Charlotte get off me, I’ll throw you off if I have to.” I freed my hands from her pressing them on her shoulder, I began to shove her off me.

Remember how I said pissed Carrot was strong Carrot well this Carrot also had really good reflexes.

The moment she slightly started to be lifted of me she instantly pushed herself back on my body, she forced herself back on me causing a big impact on my stomach.

As I recovered from the pain, Charlotte got ahold of my arms then pinned them over my head, remind me never to piss her off whatever I did. “Say sorry.” she pressed my arm against the bed even more.

“For what.” I tried wiggled under her, her hold tighten and her smile grew as she saw the pain shoot through my face, I think I just found the devil incarnate.

“Well firstly—” Interrupted her joy ride.

“Wait there are A LOT of things?” I giggled under her hold, she just sighed in annoyance.

“Of course there’s more, have you met YOU?” Charlotte paused for a while and I glared at her, what did she mean by have you met you, I’m manner and composed.

“Yeah, don’t look at me like that, you and I both know you’re no angel. Anyway, apologize for calling me Carrot and for telling my boyfriend he probably gets sloppy seconds.”

“Well you do know I’m right, he is just your side dish that I tolerate for your happiness, I’m your main.” Charlotte’s face was priceless, I instantly started laughing, suddenly Char’s grip became even stronger her eyes filled with someone I couldn’t pin point. “fine, have it your way.” her head started leaning in closer to my face.

“Charlotte what are you doing.” She didn’t reply, she rather continued to lower herself on me looking into my eyes. I knew what gave this was, I gave her a side smirk then quickly raised my head, my lips pecked hers lightly before my head hit the pillow again.

“You little pervert.” She jumped off me giving me a deadly gaze, I turned myself to the side.

“Well you were going to kiss me, who was I to deny.”

“I f*****g wasn’t, wanted to scare the apology out of you.” and I played her on her own game, annoying your best friend brought a different type of satisfaction.

“We all know you were going to.” I wore a silly smirk on my face while I sat upright and moved to the edge of the bed, my feet feeling the cool floor for the first time all morning.

“Come here so we continue what we started.” I patted the spot beside.

I felt hands grip my neck, “Want to finish what we started? How about we finish you.” her hold wasn’t strong, it was just like she wrapped her hands around my neck.

I pushed her down to the ground winning the dominance I was on top of her, my fingers locked in hers. “How about we finish this first.” I looked from her lips to her eyes, there was panic written all over her face, it took everything in me not to laugh.

She wiggled her body under me as I got closer to her lips my eyes piercing hers.

“I won’t ever try to kill you again, just get the f**k off of me you goat!” she blurted out the words when I was only a few inches from her lips.

I didn’t move away from her, I spoke as we were that close. “Never again? Never ever?” my hot breath hit her lips and I kinda felt her body shiver.

“Yes. Now get off, your breath smells horribly.” she freed one of her hands and poked my side, I giggled lightly.

“You weren’t bothered before.” I whispered in her ear before blowing my nasty breath in her nostril. She pushed me off immediately and I collapsed on the floor, laughter filling up the whole room.

Once my laughing cooled down I went to take a shower and brush my teeth. Charlotte wasn’t lying about my breath smelling, it was deadly. When my teeth were minty fresh and my body squeaky clean I got out of the bathroom and dressed up.
