Tomorrow is my 18th Birthday and I can’t say I’m excited! My best friend Mila has been counting down the hours and it’s setting off my anxiety! I’ve already gone to the toilet 4 times and it’s only 10am! I can hear Mila running up the stairs way too happy for my liking. “Alyra! What are you going to do if Jack is in fact your mate? Every girl in our pack is going to hate you for it! I made myself a smoothie and could hear the girls whispering and laughing in my direction. As I turned around I could see all the Omegas outside setting up the garden for tonight’s party. My mother and our Luna are throwing a big 18th Party for Mila and I tonight. I love that we share the same birthday and I really hope our Mates are from a pack far away from this shitty territory full of ignorant and selfish wolves! I made my way to my spot by the lake and waited hoping Mila would change her mind. 11:12 and Mila hadn’t come. I was sad but I needed to move. I saw the guards making their way towards the pack house so I started running for the border before the night guards started their shift. I made it. I sighed and then needed to cut my ties with the Moon Shine Pack! “I, Alyra Hannah of the Moon shine Pack, declare myself a rogue” I felt nothing so I repeated it 2 more times. What was going on?
