Chapter 4

Waking up I roll over thinking I was about to feel Addisynn beside me but instead I was met with a cold spot on the bed.

Rolling onto my back I rub my hands down my face before getting up and walking into the bathroom. Pulling my shorts down I release myself before washing my hands.

Walking out of the bathroom I make my way out of my room and get ready to go downstairs. As I stood at the top of the steps I could hear singing.

"She was lost in so many different ways Out in the darkness with no guide I know the cost of a losing hand But for the grace of God go I". I stood there listening for a minute.

"I found heaven on earth You are my last, my first

And then I hear this voice inside Ave Maria". The voice got a little louder.

"Sometimes love can come and pass you by While you're busy making plans Suddenly hit you and then you realize It's out of your hands Baby, you got to understand". The voice was beautiful I ain't gone lie.

Making my way down the stairs I walk into the living room and see that it was Addisynn that was singing. I didn't want to interrupt her so I didn't make any noise.

"Ave Maria Ave Maria Ave Maria Grazia plena 

Maria, grazia plena  Maria, grazia plena  Ave, Ave dominus tecum". She sung looking down at something.

"Why you never told me you could sing". I ask and she jumps looking back at me.

"I can't". She said as I made my way over to the couch.

"I literally just heard you man stop cappin' ". I said staring at her and she looked down.

"I'm not that good okay". She said and I held a surprised look on my face.

"Not that good, that s**t was great you're voice is beautiful". I said and she looked up at me smiling.

"You really think so". She asked fully looking at me and I nod my head.

"Hell yeah". I said leaning back into the couch.

"Thank you". She said putting her feet in my lap causing me to look down at them.

"Look they cute and all but I'm not that type of dude". I said tickling her feet and she started laughing.

"Okay okay". She said tucking them under her.

"Look I got some studio time you trying to come". I ask standing up.

"Yeah". She said doing the same.

"Alright go get dressed". I said walking back upstairs to get ready.

After taking a shower and getting dressed I thought I was gone be the first one done but as soon as I made it to the last step I saw Addisynn sitting on the couch.

"I thought you would take a while but let's go". I said walking to the front door and opening it letting her walk out first.

Locking the door I make my way to the car and get in. Starting it up I back out and pull off towards the studio.

|15 minutes later|

Pulling into the parking lot I shut the car off and we get out making our way inside.

"How you doing man you finished them verses". The producer asked dapping me up when we walked in.

"Yeah I finished them the other day but check it this my friend Addisynn". I said bringing her forward and she slightly waved at him.

"How you doing". He said nodding at her before taking a seat.

"Sit right here". I said pulling up a chair for her and walking into the booth.

The music started playing and I begin to rap.

Once I finished which took three takes I walked out and pulled up a chair so I could hear which one I wanted to keep.

"I really like that one". She said and I nodded my head.

"Yeah I like that one too". I said looking over at her with a smile on my face.

"Why don't you go in there and sing something". I say and she shakes her head.

"Yeah you write music". I ask and she nods her head yes.

"Then sing a little bit of one of your songs". I said and she looked at me before sighing.

Standing up she walks over to the producer and they was talking quietly as she did something on her phone before going inside the booth.

We wait for a few minutes before an instrumental starts playing and she picked up the headphones.

"I just want them to know that I gave my all, did my best brought someone some happiness left this world a little better just because I was here". She sung with her eyes closed.

"I was here, I lived, I loved I was here, I did, I've done everything that I wanted and it was more than I thought it would be I wanna leave my mark so everyone will know I was here".She then opened her eyes staring at me.

"I was here, I lived, I loved, I was here, I did, I've done I was here, I lived, I loved, I was here, I did, I've done I was here". She faded off and I looked over at my producer and he was already looking at me.

"I'm about to send your song in and then we about to work on her". He said and I stood up walking into the booth.

"How was it". She asked taking the headphones off.

"That s**t was beautiful was that the beginning of the song". I ask and she shakes her head no.

"It was the end but I do have the beginning done already". She said smiling as I stared at her.

"You trying to record the whole song". I ask and she looks like she was thinking.

"Sure it wouldn't hurt". She said blushing looking away from me.

"Cool we about to take it from the top". I said kissing her forehead and walking out taking a seat.

The music started again and she started to sing.
