Me Rogers has been overworking himself in other to stay relevant as always in the company, he was beginning to neglect his health, he stopped going for his regular checkups, barely gets enough sleep, always thinking. He wasn’t ready to give up his crown just yet, not even to his son or anyone else as he kept thinking he was still the best and better off than every other person.
He knew Donald has abilities and is very good with the work he does in the company but didn’t trust that he’d be able to handle and run the company in his absence as running a Box-lite group of companies requires more than just mere skills. He was quite aware of how many people were standing in the line and waiting for him to fail or step down so that they could take over the company aside from his younger brother
