Donald made sure to keep a bright face and forget all that he had heard from secretary Brown before getting to Linda’s workplace, he didn’t want to ruin the mood that evening nor did he want Linda suspecting anything.
He needed to focus his mind on the good time he has been looking forward to spending with her rather than waste it on thinking of what his father was up to knowing that nothing was going to change by him worrying and disturbing his head.
Linda had told Anna of her date with Donald before the close of work that day so she wouldn’t bother waiting up for her.
Anna seemed even more happier than Linda when she heard of the date. She helped Linda pack up on time and make up a little excuse so she could leave on time and not keep the young man waiting for too long.
