Chapter Thirteen
The town of Kaycee was a smaller part of Wyoming. Cameron could honestly say he’d been up this way only a time or two. He’d been wondering a whole lot since even before Robert and Jerry had stepped into his bar. In the mostly quiet ride back from the police station, he’d picked up more questions than answers from Jerry, but he’d put out the offer to oversee the security and work with Dean to identify any problems, mainly vetting all the people working for him. He hadn’t shared his plans to start unloading some of these businesses that he’d inadvertently acquired, the type that came with problems, the kind of surprises he would live a longer and happier life without.
