The other adds, Luna suddenly looks a whole lot calmer as she steps forward looking at us all with her head held high. She was a short girl not much older than kati but she didn’t hold Katiana’s confidence the ladies that joined her seemed to build her up slightly. Giving her the confidence she was lacking.
“I accept the offer”
“Kill them and I’ll protect you all”
Carter says taking a seat and sipping on his drink
“You're making the right decision alpha, you and your pack will be a worthy and useful alliance. Until we meet again”
Josiah tells them smiling before he climbs back up onto the chair and sits beside the boys who were chuffed at how he had handled himself
“I’m not surprised, the boy is a natural”
Bronx whispers looking out of my eyes at him, he longed for a pup, we both did. We had waited so long to have kati that it was always at the back of our minds but now it’s right at the front.
To us, it was important to have an heir early, so our reign would end in 18 years and I for one was eager to retire.
I sit down and watch as the Luna steps forward grabbing the head of the gamma first, her face splits into a grin as she looks at him
“You are a horrible piece of piss, I hated you my entire life and I’m glad I’m saving your future mate from you. You deserve to burn for all that you have done”
He spits in her face, she smirks taking him by the throat and she squeezes on it
“You shouldn’t have done that, now you die slowly”
She whispers as one of the other ladies steps forward to wipe her face, the man gasps, scraping her hand to free his throat but she squeezes harder, lifting her leg she knees him right in the privates glaring at him
“That’s for my sister you r****t piece of s**t”
One girl from behind her walks to the gammas side, grabs his arms and yanks them back, twisting them until they snap. The man was now turning blue as she slowly watched him die.
When she was done with him she snaps the beta's neck then Carter adds to their auras, giving them extra strength so nobody could question them again.
“I don’t know how to thank you all”
“Thank us for being good and loyal, if my wife ever requests your help I expect you to be in her debt”
I answer immediately she nods frowning slightly
“Regardless of what happened here tonight, I would always be in her debt anyway. But now that you have requested it I will always be ready to have her back whenever she needs it”
She nods then turns, smiling up at Finn and nodding to him too. He nods back, turning away immediately, looking a little irritated.
But as I go to ask him what’s wrong I hear a scream from across the room, every hair on my body stands to attention, and a cold feeling blowing through the bond has my heart rate spike.
I turn just as kati grasps her head stumbling, heartly was by her side, and her head snaps towards me with panic on her face.
Bronx has us up and across the floor, before I even understand what’s happening. But as kati falls heartly catches her, sliding to the ground and cradling her head in her hands
“Katy what is it are you ok?”
As I approached my head started to thump, by now the people had moved back, her guards were by her side and the family looked on in silence.
I slide across the dance floor on my knees, my stomach in knots as her body lay limp in hearty's arms
“What happened?”
“She said the connections got stronger and then it started to hurt and she stopped drinking and then she just collapsed”
“Holly s**t?”
Carly snaps pulling her hands away from her, her eyes moving from side to side like she’s reading a book.
“Carly what is it?”
She shakes herself off
“She’s connecting to the packs”
“What do you mean”
Bronx asks through our lips
“I mean she has an individual link to every alpha, their beta and gamma as well as each of their omegas. She’s connected to everyone, Lycan, witch, werewolf. She is individually linked to them all”
“What the f**k?”
Bronx asks me, feeling for his connection to them, it was dulled out but it was there, but the link was opening up through her so she took the brunt of the pain as I reaped the benefits
“That’s too much power, how will she ever cope?”
I ask
“Far too much, why so much?”
Heartly asked Carly worriedly
“I don’t know, she needs a pack and she needs to get out of here, immediately”
I scoop her up, and her tiny frame grumbles in pain, wrapping herself around my body, Carly grabs both myself and Carter and suddenly I’m in the kitchen of the beach house.
“I’ll take the pain and you put her to bed, I’ll check on her through the night and make sure it stays at bay”
“So please make sure she’s dressed appropriately”
Carter adds for Carly, she smirks nodding her head
“Yeah what he says”
I roll my eyes and I carry her to bed.

Katrina's POV
“Holy hell what the f**k”
I cry grabbing my throbbing brain
“Turn the f*****g noise off”
Karma mumbles covering our eyes with my hands. I hear a familiar chuckle as I search for the source, it sounded like a siren only the speaker was right inside my ear and it was so loud the floor was shaking with the vibrations
“What is that noise?”
I snap at Branson, although I was afraid to open my eyes, my head hurt without light, I couldn’t imagine how it would feel with light.
“What noise? You mean the ocean?”
“The ocean? When did we come to the ocean?”
Karma asks, rolling me to see out of my eyes, as predicted the pain splits right through my head, I scream out grabbing each side of my head
“What the fuckkkk”
“s**t it’s happening, hang on baby, CARLY”
He roars, and I cringe trying to find him. This was not just a hangover, this was more
“What’s wrong with me”
I ask, tears pooling in my eyes
“Shhh baby it’s ok come here”
He tells me, I feel his arms around me, and the pain immediately lessons just slightly, enough to open my eyes and whimper
He places his hand on the side of my face as he cradles me in his arms, his gentle touch soothes the pain just enough
“You were dancing and having so much fun and you were actually on your best behaviour, then you screamed, falling to your knees and you were holding your head, your mum said it was all the connections, they were still connecting you to each person of each pack, it was never meant to happen but fate made it happen. Your mum said Jesus made it happen for a reason we aren’t sure of just yet, after that you passed out so we came to the island until you could choose a wolf to take your pain. Do you remember anything?”
He asks me, my head was so fuzzy I couldn’t remember anything
“No, was I drunk”
He shakes his head
“Nope, you were tipsy and having fun but you weren’t drunk”
“That doesn’t sound like me, are you sure we are talking about the same person?”
He laughs nodding his head, ducking down he kisses my nose
