The Hunters Pray

Why?

《FLASHBACK 》

^Rins point of view^

Rin woke up sore from the uncomfortable sleep he had last night, it was already mid-day from what it looked like. After looking around he got a better impression of the place where he spent the night. It seemed that no one visited this place for quite some time. So for now Rin thought to stay here, but he wanted to go outside and look around the place. After opening the door of the barn Rin was greeted with a beautiful view of the town he left yesterday. 'Well I am not going back there for sure' Rin thought, so he went the other way of the hill and after what looked like an hour he saw another smaller town. 'Maybe there will be other people there' Rin thought and with that idea in their head, Rin went towards the town.

The streets were empty with cars everywhere, but there were no dead bodies around which gave Rin some hope to find other people. After walking for a while Rin still had no luck at finding other people, he felt thirsty and hungry so as soon he noticed a*****e he went straight after it. But as soon as he made more noise he was greeted with a familiar sight, it was a creature that he met yesterday, and in s couple of minutes, there were ten more of them.

Rin knew that he had to react fast and as soon as he noticed another door sprinted for it and the creatures went after him. He tried closing the door but one of the creatures grabbed him and he just had to get free and run. So he ran as fast as he could but those freaks were right behind him, he got out into the main street and he just went straight back the way he came from. His legs were already feeling numb but he just ran, it was all he could think of and then the adrenaline kicked in pushing him to run faster than before, e and finally, he managed to create some distance from the creatures that were behind him and that gave him the idea to turn towards the forest, where he could lose them and escape finally.

After twenty more minutes Rin finally stopped, his whole body was shaking, he could barely breathe but he managed to escape.

"Why is this happening, why I can't remember a single thing, just WHY!!!" Rin shouted with all of his strength and then he falls to his knees. His body finally gave up, but he needs to get back up and return to the barn he slept in last night. Pushing through the pain he stood up and started to walk back. After couple more hours he finally reached the barn and as soon as he entered his body gave up and he fell on the ground hitting his head and losing consciousness.

《End of FLASHBACK》

Rin woke up from the stinging pain in his side.

"That ass managed to get me good" I won't be able to move for at least another day."

"Damn it!" Rin slammed his and fist into the wall.

"That stupid meat bag ruined my hunt and now I will have to track down my pray again. I just can't let her run away from me, I need to hunt her down!"

"f**k!!!!"

"Why can't I just kill her, what is happening with me, she should just have been another simple hunt"

Rin felt strange the more he thought about it, this was the first time he got himself into this kind of a mess since his first encounter with another survivor.

"I just need to finish this"

"^Loras point of view^

Lora had walked for the whole day, she already felt tired so she wanted to find a place where she could spend the night. After walking a bit further she noticed something that looked like an abandoned hunter's cabin. 'Well it seems that I will have a home for tonight' she thought to herself and approached the cabin. After carefully looking through the windows and making sure that there were no people or creatures inside she opened the door and entered inside. There were a bunch of spider webs around as well as dust and it made Lora a bit calmer since this indicated that no people were coming here for a while and it should be safe for her to stay there tonight.

She unpacked her bag and placed the sleeping bag in the back corner of the cabin. She sat down on it and took out some water, she pushed all this way without even taking a single sip of water, so finally she had time to rest and after drinking some water she played down. She felt tired, but she couldn't sleep all she could think of was what happened at her camp. 'I need to be more careful when I am traveling, I can't let myself get noticed like that again, or I could end up like that man next to my camp' then she thought about Rin 'Well I hope he is still alive. I am sorry Rin, you saved me and me, being not careful enough might have costed your life, but if you are still alive, then thank you for giving me another chance at living. With these thoughts out of her mind, Lora finally fell asleep.
