Upon awakening, the first sensation that reached my nostrils was the enticing aroma of savory meat. Oh, Mother Nature, your generosity is unparalleled. However, as I rose from the bed, I realized that I was not in my own room; instead, I found myself clad in a comfortable nightgown. The bed was so spacious that it could easily accommodate three individuals, and in addition to the delectable food, the room was filled with the delightful scents of lavender and earth—what a treat.
The last memory I had was being roused from slumber by, oh dear, I suddenly recalled, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, the Alpha of the black killers pack was delivering a speech, and I... I must have fainted, how foolish of me. But where am I now?" At that moment, my stomach let out a loud growl. Goodness, I am famished; I devoured the meat with the ferocity of a wild beast. Once I finished, I cautiously exited the room, with no idea of my whereabouts.
I had just exited the hallway when I noticed a girl. She gazed at me as if she were gathering her thoughts before exclaiming, "Oh Luna, you're awake." I turned to look behind me, but there was no one there. Confused, I pointed to myself and asked, "Me?" I chuckled, "Oh, I apologize; you must be mistaken; I am not Luna." What could she possibly mean? "Are you certain?" The girl quickly lowered her head. That voice sounded familiar. To my astonishment, it belonged to the Alpha of the Black Killers Pack. I gradually turned to face a strikingly handsome man. I was utterly captivated. His jet-black hair, chiseled features, and stunning brownish-golden eyes—oh, moon goddess, I could perish from this sight. His straight nose and full, beautiful lips made me want to kiss him endlessly. This man seemed to be sculpted by a Greek god. I felt an overwhelming desire for him. "Yes, fool, he is our mate." I was left speechless, "What?"

As I was heading to my room after a lengthy meeting, I caught a whiff of my mate's scent. Intrigued, I followed it until I heard her laughter; it was so enchanting that I could listen to it endlessly. When she finally spoke, she told Kylie that she wasn't a Luna. "Are you certain?" I asked, and it took her a moment before she turned to look at me. The instant our eyes locked, I noticed her gaze was intense, almost primal, as if she were a wolf in heat, lost in her thoughts. She stared at me for a while before seemingly freezing in place, as if communicating with her wolf.
"Are you just going to stand there, or would you like me to carry you to our room?" I could see her eyes light up at my words. What she said next took me by surprise: "Yes, please," she said, reaching out for me to lift her, and that’s exactly what I did.

When the alpha declared that she was his mate, I was in disbelief. Our mission was to eliminate their entire pack, yet we returned with a rogue and a Luna. Goodness, the girl has been in a deep sleep for six days straight. Jackson was already anxious, so we contacted her father, who informed us that since she shifted to her wolf at the tender age of ten, she has been prone to long periods of sleep, with her sleeping days outnumbering her waking ones. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that she’s our alpha’s mate, but one thing is clear: having shifted so early, she might be stronger than she appears, even more so than Jackson, who didn’t shift until later.
The meeting we conducted today extended beyond our expectations. The most unfortunate news came to light: we learned yesterday that Gabriella is pregnant by that jerk. Jackson inquired if the omega wanted his daughter to have an abortion, but he refused, stating that his daughter wishes to keep the baby.
Douglas's death was too swift; he deserved to endure more pain. Jackson ended his life just two days after we took him captive; he was castrated and burned alive, dying like a helpless animal. I would have inflicted even greater suffering if it had been my choice.
