Seth's Rage

It was already 2am in the werewolf's kingdom but the entire palace was still filled with both wolves in both human and wolf form. Everyone has been looking for the missing princess for the past 2 hours with no trace of where she may have gone. All guards were called in for an extensive search party, and fellow citizens were put on full lockdown by Seth to ensure that his bride would be found before dawn. In the midst of the chaos, on the 1st floor of the palace, sat Seth and Riana in the throne room.

"Where did that little b***h go to," roared Seth while throwing his glass of wine across the room, shattering upon impact into the wall. " The guards have searched everywhere and they can't find any trace of her or her guard. Riana, tell me again, did she tell you anything about leaving," growled Seth in anger while he grabbed her arm and pulled her inches away from his face.

Riana could smell the strong stench of alcohol coming from his mouth and knew that any wrong word from her now could lead to a very unpleasant situation. When Seth was in this mood, it would be best to remain scarce or to be prepared for a beating. "No Seth, I swear, the last time I spoke to her, she said that she would go ahead with the ceremony to fulfill her father's dying wish. Maybe she was taken by someone," answered Riana fearfully.

Seth pushed her away from him causing her to fall on the table," Do you think that there is anyone in this kingdom who would dare betray me and take the princess? Do you know what I had to do to make sure I got coronated as the next King? Why don't you stop talking all this nonsense and put that mouth of yours to better use." Riana knew what she had to do, without being told twice, she proceeded to remove her clothes and kneeled down before him. I'm still trying to figure out if she went there willingly or if she was forced across the portal as her bodyguard, Leo, is missing as well," explained Cain.

" Was there anyone who came across the portal over the past few days? What could have made her suddenly leave," wondered Seth.

" I'm not sure bro, but I suggest you act fast. The people are wondering what happened to their princess and would start questioning you soon. It would be best if you could come up with a statement regarding her disappearance to ensure peace in the kingdom. My soldiers and I will give you our full support as always," Cain spoke as he grabbed Riana's panty which was hidden under the table.

" You can have her once you bring Claire back to me," growled Seth. Consider it an incentive to you and your pack of wolves for retrieving my ticket to the throne. Send word to the rogues in New Jersey to look out for our pretty little princess if they want to ensure their place in the kingdom with us since the portal opens up near there. We have to find her before she discovers the truth behind her family in the Earth realm. I also want a bounty set out for her in the underworld of the human realm, " said Seth as he left the room to address the citizens in the Great Hall.

The crowd in the hall was getting anxious. Whispers over what happened to their beautiful princess and where she could have gone are circulating around the rumor mill and making the crowd more uncertain of what their future holds now that their king is dead and the only heir is missing.

Seth approached the front and shouted," Silence everyone, as you may know the princess has been missing from her chamber since midnight. We have reasons to believe that she has been taken and I am doing my best to bring her back to her beloved people. A mix of cries and growls echoed around the hall as those who have gotten the chance to meet the princess in the past could not help but fall in love with her sweet nature and kind soul. She was fiercely loyal to the kingdom despite some doubting her abilities due to her lineage.

" Do not fear, I already have our best warriors looking for her and she will be back with us soon. In the mean time, we will have to find a suitable substitute to rule the kingdom on her behalf to ensure that our enemies do not try to take advance of the current weakness we have without a leader," Seth raised his hands and spoke while looking at his father for support.

Anton, the advisor of the late King and father to Seth spoke up at this point," I think it would be wise to let Seth rule in her behalf at least until we find her and bring her safely back to the kingdom. After all, Seth is her true mate and soon to be king of the kingdom as well. The crowd murmured to each other before agreeing to the advisors' recommendation. After all, Anton has always been by the late king's side in the many years that he ruled and has thus gained the respect of the people in the kingdom as well.

Unknown to them, Anton was the one who betrayed the late king's trust and spoke of the princess' predicament to his son Seth, 3 years ago. Since then, Seth has been obsessed with the idea to rule both the human and werewolf realm. In the 5 years that Seth has served in the werewolf council, he gathered an army of rogues with plans to take down the largest packs in the human realm and to enslave the wolves there to help him take over the werewolf kingdom. Unfortunately, the alpha of the Red stone pack has been in his way more than once and Seth had to find other means to gain access to the kingdom. As such, when Claire could not find her true mate, Seth used it to his advantage to take over the kingdom.
