There lived a king called Uther in a great kingdom he was a succorer to his people and other neighbouring kingdoms in terms of security and provisions, therefore his fame spread home and a broad, his kingdom was an epitome of beauty and strength. Even though he had no heir to his throne he was yet a happy man because of his wife who he loves so much, even in her times of disperse because of her barrenness, he always comforts her. The nobles in his cabinet spoke relentlessly to him about getting a second wife that could bear a heir to rule in his stead. When the king turned fifty, he was well celebrated after which the nobles in his cabinet raised the issue of having a heir, they were vehement about it to the point that it was asserted to him that he either have an heir or he would be dethrone. That same night king Uther was lost in thought when his wife walked into the room and held his hands, she smiled at him and assured him that everything would be fine. The king smiled in return and said, he would rather give up the throne, than to take a second wife. The Queen embraced him and told him to get another wife that would bear a heir to the throne, king Uther starred at her in amazement, she kissed his forehead and bided him good night. At the dawn of the day King Uther summoned for all the nobles in his cabinet and vented his decision, he decided to take another wife and they were all glad with his decision, they asked him to make the choice of where a maiden would be selected from, he declined the offer and ask them to see to it. Has he returned to his wife, he enumerated all that transpired with the nobles, she held his hands and told him how proud she is of him. After the celebration of the king's new wife (Guine), the Queen welcomed her with warm hands and treated her fairly. Two months after Guinea became pregnant and the Queen bore the responsibility of nursing her, even after she was delivered of a male child and he was named Bruta. After a year the Queen conceived and also bore a male child and he was named Lancelot. The boys were raised and loved equally without any trace of been half brothers, the king's family lived in peace and harmony, as the boys grew, their differences in preference was obvious, though they were both morally sound. Bruta enjoys assisting the servants and the maids in the palace and he would prefer to do his things by himself, while Lancelot would rather prefer being indoors, and to be served. Bruta loves going to the stream with the maids, he would not mind been reported to thier queen mother by Lancelot. Bruta would not just escort the maids, but he would go along with his pitcher.
