I didn't know where I was going. Now I have only one motive, to find my real parents. I left my town. Well not only town, I left that state. I had a feeling that I can find my parents in the north. It was night already and I kept walking through an alley.
I suddenly felt that I was being followed. It's not only today, I have always felt that. When I looked back, I didn't find anyone. Just like before. Weird. I started walking again. I was tired, so I sat down on a bench beside the road.
“Hey, beauty. What are you doing here? Do you want to spend the night with me? My home is nearby. Let's go.” A creepy drunken guy told me and started to pull me.
I don't know what came into me I started to punch on his face so hard he was bleeding. Then I picked him up and threw him away.
Wait... Did I throw him with one hand? I looked at my hand. When did I become that strong?
I didn't think much. I looked at his laying body and left that place. I booked a hotel room for the night. I will stay here at Mexico for some time. I have to find an apartment and a job for living. I will find the apartment tomorrow. For now, I need sleep.
The next morning, I get ready for the day and went for finding a suitable apartment. Well, not before grabbing some food for my hungry stomach. I looked at a lot of apartments and I finally found one. But it's too late to find a job for today. Let's leave it for tomorrow.
I bought some newspapers in order to find job interview details and went to my room. I found some job interview dates. Oh wow. Tomorrow there will be an interview. I hope they would select me for the job. And with that hope, I fell asleep.
I suddenly woke up at my alarm. I saw the time.
Shit! I am late.
I quickly took a shower, and wear a formal dress. I am not really a make-up person, so I left without it for my interview.
I was going for my second interview. The first one was disgusting. That CEO was looking at me with lustful eyes. After the interview, he called me into a private room and tried to force me. I kicked that part of the body where the sun doesn't shine. Then left the company.
The second interview was with a multinational company. I was waiting for my turn. And soon enough, the receptionist called my name. She guides me to the interview room. I went inside the room. 3 old interviewer was sitting beside the desk.
“Good afternoon.” I greeted them, they nodded at acknowledgment and gestured for me to sit. I sat down on the chair and gave them my file.
“What's your name, miss?” one of the interviewers asked me.
“Veronica Smith.”
“Do you know what is most of the job?” The man who was sitting in the middle asked me.
“For CEO’s personal assistant post.” I replied with a small smile.
“So your home is in California. And you had a job there. Why did you leave, and why do you want a job here in Mexico.” The brown-eyed man who was sitting left side asked me.
Did they really have to ask a personal question?
“I came here for some personal reason. And we all need money to live and a job provides us with money. That's why I am here for the job.” I didn't have any other answer to their stupid question and I was not going to tell them why I was here in Mexico.
“We can see you have a little bit of attitude. Do you think, you can get any job with this attitude?” The middle man asked me again. He was sitting in the middle and I didn't know his name, so what should I call him? ‘Middle man!’ haha, very funny. You have an interview here Vicky. Concentrate!
“Sorry, sir. But I can't change myself for getting a job.” I am me with this attitude. I won't change myself for anyone.
“If you won't change this attitude how can we expect you to listen to your boss?” The man who was silent all in a while, asked me.
“Sir, I will do any work which you will assign me, but that doesn't mean I have to change myself.” I told them politely.
“We can see your grades, work performance is pretty good. Can you assure us that you won't misbehave with anyone?” The brown-eyed man asked.
“Yes, sir. I can assure you.”
“Then you can join from tomorrow. Our CEO is not in the state now. You can meet him after 2 days. Till then, you can learn about your working procedure here.” They told me after a little discussion between them.
“Thank you so much, sir.” And with that, I took my files and left from there.
I went to the hotel to bring my luggage and checking out. I was shifting my apartment today. By the evening I reached at the apartment.
I bought some necessary things which I needed from online. I clean the apartment, finished unpacking and got everything settled by 10. Then I realized, there wasn't any food and I was hungry. The food shop nearby didn't do home delivery, which do, are far away from here and didn't take order from far, after 10 pm. So I had no choice but to went to buy food personally.
There was a supermarket a little far from here. I went there buy some groceries. In my way to home I heard some sound from the woods beside the road. There was no one at the road.

What the f**k! Am I dreaming?
The man in front of me, no it's not one, it's five. Five men turned into beast in front of me.
Oh God! No no no. It's not possible. I am dreaming.
I went to back away but the sound of the dry leaf under my leg caught their attention. Five pair of eyes stared at me like they wanted to caught me and torn me apart.
There was only one voice in my head. RUN. And I ran as first as I could. I heard footsteps behind me. I didn't look back, I kept running.
All of a sudden I bumped into something in front of me. Or should I said someone. A hard muscular chest, where I touched it gave me tangles.
I stepped back to look. I saw a tall, muscular, twinkling blue eyed man was standing in front of me. His eyes went wide for sometime. And then black dot appears...
“Little fairy. Little fairy, open your eyes.” I felt someone was calling me and his voice is so melodious. I tried to open my eyes. I have to for him. I can't resist this voice.
