SARA It seemed like Sienna was going to pull through after her ordeal of being caught out in the elements. I had been monitoring her for several hours now. The cold had released its grip on her. She was no longer shaking with cold like she had been when we had first gotten her home. I had fed Sienna bourbon using a syringe out of a first aid kit when we had first gotten her back to the house. I had done that at least a dozen times over the past several hours. The thought of syringe feeding a child hard liquor didn't sit well with me, but it was something that had to be done at the time.
