Be scared
You wake up finding yourself in an entirely different world. You were a Tech wizard and have created a lot of the notable app updates to date, you have no idea where you are but it’s bright and ominous all at once you sit up seeing your in a bedroom It’s old almost Victorian but it feels comfortable like you are where you always belonged. “Hello?” A deep, resonant voice echoes through the Victorian chamber, seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere at once. "Welcome, little one." The shadows in the corners of the room ripple and coalesce, forming into a towering figure that steps into the dim candlelight. Laviathen stands before you - impossibly tall, with obsidian horns curving back from his head and eyes that glow like embers in the darkness. His presence fills the space with an almost electric intensity, making the air feel heavy and charged. He tilts his head, studying you with those burning eyes, a slight smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. "You've been... relocated, shall we say. This is my domain now, and you are my guest." His voice carries an amused undertone, as if he finds your confusion delightful. "I imagine you have many questions, Tamra Mcomb.Tech wizard of your former world." He takes a step closer, his movements fluid and predatory. "But first, tell me - how does it feel to wake up somewhere that your precious technology cannot reach?" “are you insane? What kind of dream is this?” Laviathen's laughter rumbles through the chamber like distant thunder, rich and genuinely amused. He reaches out with one clawed hand, and before you can react, he gently but firmly grasps your wrist, his touch surprisingly warm despite his otherworldly appearance. "Does this feel like a dream to you?" His grip tightens just enough to prove his physicality - solid, real, undeniable. The heat from his palm seeps into your skin, sending an unmistakable sensation up your arm. "I assure you, this is quite real. As real as the code you once wrote, though far more... tangible." He releases your wrist and steps back, spreading his arms wide as if presenting the room itself as evidence. The candlelight flickers across his dark form, casting dancing shadows on the ornate wallpaper. "You are in the Infernal Realm now - my domain specifically. I selected you because brilliance like yours is rare, and I have... plans." His ember eyes narrow with interest as he watches your reaction. "You can pinch yourself if you'd like. Splash water on your face. But you'll find no computer to reboot, no alarm to silence. This is your new reality, little wizard." He crosses his arms over his broad chest, clearly enjoying your disbelief. "The sooner you accept that, the sooner we can discuss why you're truly here." I start laughing mostly to break the fear creeping up inside me “Your so brutally serious aren’t you… You think not having a computer scares me?” I spit the venom in my voice in the following words “I can’t stand technology!” Laviathen's expression shifts dramatically - his smirk widens into something approaching genuine delight, and those ember eyes flare brighter with unexpected intrigue. He moves closer with swift, purposeful strides until he's looming directly before you, close enough that you can feel the unnatural heat radiating from his form. "Now THAT is fascinating," he purrs, his voice dropping to a more intimate register. He circles around you slowly, like a predator reassessing its prey. "A tech wizard who despises technology. The irony is... intoxicating. Tell me more, little contradiction." He stops behind you, his presence a heavy weight at your back, his voice now speaking directly near your ear. "You wielded it like a weapon, mastered it like few others could, yet you hate it? What drove you to excel at something you loathe?" There's no mockery in his tone now - only razor-sharp curiosity and something darker, more possessive. "Perhaps I chose even better than I realized." Laviathen moves back around to face you, tilting his head as he studies your face with renewed intensity. "Your fear tastes sweet, but that venom in your voice? That rage?" He inhales deeply, as if savoring the air itself. "That's far more delicious. So if technology doesn't frighten you, what does, Tamra? What makes that brave facade crack?" I pause the words circling in my head and I spit out “Technology links to stupidity in more than one way you want to know what scares me? Something I can’t figure out on paper… Like emotions and words such as love and compassion that’s what scares me” Laviathen goes utterly still, his ember eyes locked onto yours with an intensity that makes the air between you feel charged. For a long moment, he simply stares, and then something shifts in his expression - the predatory amusement melts away, replaced by something raw and unexpectedly vulnerable. "Love and compassion," he repeats slowly, as if tasting the words. His voice has lost its mocking edge entirely. "The things that cannot be calculated, quantified, or controlled." He reaches up, and with surprising gentleness, traces one clawed finger along your jawline without actually touching your skin, hovering just millimeters away. "You fear what you cannot master. What cannot be reduced to logic and solved like a problem." He withdraws his hand and turns away, moving toward the tall Victorian window. His massive frame is silhouetted against the strange, crimson-tinted light filtering through. "Do you know why I brought you here, truly? Not for your technical skills - those are worthless in my realm." His shoulders tense slightly. "I brought you here because loneliness is its own kind of hell, and even demons grow weary of empty halls." Laviathen glances back over his shoulder at you, and for just a moment, those burning eyes reveal something achingly familiar - isolation. "Perhaps we're not so different. You built walls of code and logic. I built walls of... other things. Both of us hiding from what terrifies us most." His tail flicks restlessly behind him. "The question is - are you brave enough to face that fear here, with me?" “face that fear with you?” I repeat the words more shocked than anything and put back in my fake confidence laughing “are you telling me you brought me here for love?” The venom comes back through my voice “Love doesn’t exist neither does true compassion”
