"You drive me crazy," I told her.

"I know," she replied. I began to undo the buttons on her dress and kiss every inch of her neck down towards her beautiful breast. She was becoming eager for more and began to lift my shirt up. I began to kiss her lips and slide my hands down to the hem of her dress. I was bringing it up when all of a sudden my bedroom door is slammed open.

"We have to go," Henry said. Sapphire shot up from my bed and pushed her dress down while buttoning herself up. She kissed me and ran towards her vampire friend. Soon they were gone but I quickly ran after her. I mind linked Liam and Cole and told them to follow suit. We were not far behind but spotting them was hard. They were just a blur most times. I could feel her presence so I knew I wouldn't lose her. Finally, we arrived at the vampire hunting ground/nightclub "Eden's palace." I smelled the blood as soon as we reached the front entrance. Liam, Cole and I stepped inside and saw about a hundred dead humans and vampires alike. I was shocked and disgusted. In the middle of the pool of blood stood my mate and two familiar vampires.

I looked around and saw the bodies on the floor. I was angry and confused. I felt a warm hand on my arm and looked to see Christian standing next to me. He held me close and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, but do you see now why we have to stop her," I told him.

"Why would she do this?" Christian asked.

"Why indeed," Marius said while looking back at me.

"She has to be stopped once and for all," I said. I was distraught. I couldn't stand this anymore. If there was one thing I hated it was a monstrous tyrant. She has no right to take innocent lives and I would stop her on my own if I have too.

"This looks to me like she had some help," Henry said.

"We should go back to my place," Marius said.

"Alright," I replied.

"What are you planning to do?" Christian asked.

"That does not concern your kind," Marius replied. I sighed and walked towards Henry.

"I'll see you later," I told Christian and with that Henry, Marius and I left and went to Marius's home.

As soon as they left I made my way to the street and made a phone call to my ex-mate. I arranged to meet up and have a little chat.

"I am so happy you called," Jessica said. She sat on a huge boulder in the forest I chose to meet up in.

"That makes one of us," I said.

"So, I assume you have some information for me," she said.

"I want to know why you massacred so many humans and vampires tonight!," I shouted.

"How strange, once upon a time you enjoyed that kind of thing. What changed?" she said.

"What we did, we did for power not for fun or for no reason at all," I said.

"Funny, I was always doing it for fun," she said. I began to walk around the forest in anger.

"So did you find anything out," she said.

"No, but two vampires are helping my mate find you as we speak," I said.

"Let them try," she said.

"You can kill the vamps but do not touch my mate or else," I demanded.

"I wouldn't dare," she said sarcastically. She then left and I shifted and headed back to the packhouse.

We finally reached Marius's home. It was a three-story victorian style home. It sure had that gothic look to it. We went inside and were greeted by his coven.

"Gather round, my children," Marius said.

"Welcome back, master; master Henry, mistress Sapphire," The coven said.

"This attack tonight goes against everything we have built and achieved so far," Marius said. "The king won't be pleased and we have to stop this treason before it goes any further."

"She has gathered some followers now so we must act fast," Henry said.

"Where do you think she is hiding?" Henry asked.

"I'm not sure but we will leave no stone unturned until we find her," I said.

"Are you sure your mate doesn't know her whereabouts?" Henry asked. Marius looked at me with concerned and said: " Can you trust him." I knew he was concerned and knew all too well that Christian was keeping things from me.

"I know that he is unsure about a lot of things but he will not betray me," I said.

"But he is lying to you," Marius said.

"What?"Henry said in shock.

"It's nothing, we both read his mind and he is working with Jessica to find out more about the dagger and the Lycan heir but we all know he will never uncover anything," I said.

"You may be putting too much faith in him," Henry said. Marius nodded in agreement.

"Does anyone know the male she is traveling with?" I asked the coven. Suddenly a spirited blonde young girl approached us. Marius introduced her. Her name was Lizzie and she was very good at mingling and networking. She had a charm about her and that made her good at gathering information on others. She was only fifty years old and the youngest in the coven. Marius was only 900 years old and obviously the oldest in his coven. Henry was only 500 years old. Most of the coven members were around Henry's age. Marius had the oldest coven in the world and was very well respected amongst the vampire clans and covens.

"So Lizzie, who is he?" I asked.

"His name is Lincoln Walker, he is roughly a hundred maybe a hundred and five years old. His entire family was killed by a rogue wolf pack and he met his untimely death at the hands of a nomad vampire," Lizzie explained.

"Tragic, but why is he so invested in helping this child," Henry said.

"Well, when I met him he seemed lonely and lost with no master or coven. He wasn't shown our ways or taken in by anyone. And one thing is for sure he hates wolves more than anything," she said.

"Do you know where he is or where he stays?"I asked Lizzie.

"No, but I think I know how to draw him out," she said.

"Good, I will not put any of you in danger but we will need your coven's help to stop her and her new army," I said.

"I also think it is time to talk to the king about this matter," Marius said.

"Not yet, I will speak with him but right now I have to find her before the new moon rises tomorrow night," I said.
