CHAPTER 2

"Where am I?" Octavia asked as she regained consciousness. "This is Bluemoon, baby girl," she heard a voice say. She directed her sense of vision in the direction of his voice, and she was shocked to see a black, hairy creature with whiskers grinding some leaves at the entrance of the door. "Who the hell are you?" she said, looking at him as she drew closer to the wall. "I see this baby gal is scared of me. I am offended, he said, moving closer to her, and she drew closer to the walls. "Get away or I will..." "You will, baby girl." "I will puncture your bones and drill your damn teeth out of you," she said, shaking under the wrappers. "I see you have a taste of sensitivity here, but to think you can't thank me for saving you is surprising," he said to her as he used his fingertips to raise her jaws and raise her gaze. "Why would an ordinary wolf save me? Do you want to eat me or offer me as a sacrifice?" "I don't do such. I might be willing to eat you, but I don't have any interest in eating weak meat for now, he said to her as his body started to give off a faint green light. His whiskers drew in, and his ears grew to the size of a normal human. His incisors grew smaller, and his hair moved back in. "You... you... you are a...", she stammered at her words. "I am a werewolf, for sure. What is a human like you doing in this magical realm alone in the woods? he said as his left eyebrow went up in a sense of curiosity. "I am not a human. I am a werewolf from a particular pack, she yelled at him. "You make my tummy turn," he said, laughing hard. "You want me to show you?" she asked him, as she was furious with him. "Yeah human. Show me how humans transform into humans, he teased. She became furious, closing her eyes at once. Upon opening her eyes, her round eyeballs had turned to strokes. A tail came out of her back, her body became enveloped with silver hairs, and her ears grew longer. "How do you like me now?" she said, growling and trying to scare him. "You look prettier than before, I must say, but you could use a little bit more practice," he said, moving closer to rub her head. She was touched and transformed back into a human. He caught her as she fell; she became drowsy due to the amount of energy she expended to transform. He carried her and took her back to the mat, which she had rested on before, and covered her with a wrapper. He looked at the beauty in front of him and smiled. He didn't know why she fell back since she was a werewolf. Every werewolf had a regeneration cell, which made them regenerate faster than humans, but she lacked it. He looked at her well and watched her for some time before walking towards the entrance of his house, where he was grinding his herbs. He knew that she was ill with a particular ailment that blocked her regenerative cells from functioning well. He knew he needed to help her if he was going to let her roam or go back to her home if she was lost. He ground the herbs till they became little particles, which he packed in a jar before dropping them in his herb collection. "Hey Sean," he called out to his pet wolf, who ran towards him immediately. "I need you to take care of her. Protect her, because she is weak right now, and I don't want any evil to befall her in my absence, he said, rubbing Sean's head before setting out to leave. He moved into the woods, searching for a particular herb that would give her a quick recovery and boost her immune system and energy. After taking several walks into the woods, he finally found the medicine. The blue moonflower was used to save his people, The blue moonflower was a blessing to them from God to enhance and keep their people healthy and well. I'm appreciative that they called the town Bluemoon, and their pack became the Bluemoon pack. Uprooting two blue moon flowers, he decided to move home, but he stopped when he heard some voices. He becomes alert and climbs a nearby tree to see what is happening. "I think she passed here," he heard a man say as a group of five werewolves made their way to the town. "Remember she said we should make sure she doesn't return to the pack no matter what, even if it means her death," another man said as he smelled the area. "I don't want anything to do with this; I just want her to be happy with me." "And receive the blessings of the new Luna," another man said, tearing down a tree with a s***h from his claws. His instincts told him they were after the lady in his house, and he needed to take care of them carefully. "I see a bamboo house over there. She must have built it," one of the men exclaimed as they all charged towards the house. "Check what's inside the house.". "Just a bunch of herbs and a few spices and leaves." "Look closer, isn't that a lady sleeping with a wrapper on her body?". "Yes, it's Octavia Ashina. We finally found her.". "Ahhhhhhhhhh!" one of the men screamed as he felt a sharp pain in his back. He touched his back, and the sight of his blood made him furious. Still touching the blood, he began to hear different screams and grunts. "Show yourself if you are the tough guy," one of the men said, still standing on his two feet and groaning in pain. "It was fun taking out a bunch of assassins," they heard a voice speak as they all turned back. "And who the hell are you?" "The name's Fenris".
