Delilah held Raz's arm as they walked into a shop, and she couldn't believe all the clothes this place had. There was hundreds of clothes hanging on racks, and rows of others.
She looked at Raz, and he smiled. "We like to have a bit of everything here." She looked over, and even saw a shoe section with tons of different boots, shoes, and even sandals.
She watched a very tall brunette walk out from the back with a huge smile on her face. She approached, and immediately bowed her head. "Alpha Raz, how good of you to come on time too. You must be the lovely Delilah. My name is Phyax."
She tilted her head, surprised that Phyax had a similar smell to Kad, and she watched her giggle softly before purring as she spoke. "I am a werecat. I was once part of the Clawing Pack, but when I refused to sleep with Alpha Billy I was beaten, and left for dead in the woods. I came across this pack, and was accepted immediately by the Kitsune."
She frowned. "I am so sorry." Phyax shrugged as she smiled at Delilah. "If it hadn't happened, I wouldn't have come across my mate. " She heard the surprise in Raz's voice. "You found your mate?"
Phyax looked at Alpha Raz with a nod. "Yes, first full moon I was here. Bastet truly blessed me with an amazing mate, but they would prefer to keep it quiet for now. So we have not marked each other."
Phyax waved her hand. "Now enough about me, let's pick out some clothes to try on. If you want to look, and I'll start a room for you." She was still wearing Raz's red shirt, but she had on a pair of black leggings, and she loved the feel of those shirts.
"Do you have any of these shirts that would fit my size? I'd like one or two of them to match Raz." Phyax nodded her head, and walked toward the mens section, and came back with a few in red, putting them in a room.
She walked along the rows of racks, finding a few shirts she liked. Some were red, and some were black with patterns of red on them. She found a pair of leggings that were red that had a interesting pattern on them. She loved the feel of the fabric on her fingers, and couldn't believe how soft they were.
"Leopard print." She looked up at Phyax as she smiled at her. "It's a very popular cat print, and there is even a summer dress in that pattern if you'd like to see it."
Delilah smiled at her with a nod of her head. "I really like red." She eventually went into the dressing room trying on the clothes, and especially liked the leopard-print leggings, with a cute long-sleeved black shirt with a v neckline.
She walked out of the dressing room, showing Raz, and he grinned at her. "Beautiful, I like it." She looked at Phyax. "I'd like two or three of these leggings please." She saw these cute fluffy pair of black boots that had a fur lining. She tried them on, and couldn't believe how warm they kept her feet.
When she was done, she walked over to the register as Raz paid for everything, and she looked at necklaces hanging on some fake trees. She saw this beautiful red heart with feathered wings. She ran her thumb over the pendant as Raz suddenly reached over, and pulled the chain out of her hand.
She looked up at him with surprise as he unclasped the necklace, and put it around her neck. She couldn't help but grab hold of the pendant with a smile. "You didn't have to. You have already got me so much."
He shrugged. "You clearly like it, and I want you to have everything you want." She grasped the pendant with a nod. "I love it, actually."
Delilah smiled up at him when he placed an arm around her shoulders, and led her out of the store. He led her into another place that served food, and she sat down at a table. He walked over to a counter, and came back with a small tray. It had two cups filled with something, and a piece of pie.
She lifted the mug when he gave it to her, and took a sip of something bitter, but it wasn't bad. "This is coffee, and apple pie." Her eyes widened at the word apple, and picked up her fork.
She instantly took a bit of her piece of pie, and her eyes widened. "This is delicious." He chuckled gently. "I know you like apples, but I thought you might like this. You should try some apple crumble."
She eagerly ate the rest of her pie, and was disappointed there wasn't more until Raz pushed his plate over to her. He only had a few bites of his pie, and she eagerly ate the rest.
Delilah noticed several people looking at them, and she looked at Raz. "Why are they staring at us?" He raised an eyebrow, before looking around. "Oh, probably because I normally don't come in here, or with anyone, for that matter. Probably surprised to see me here is all."
She tilted her head. "Do you not date?" He shook his head. "Not really, and I don't like being touched either, and when I did date they would always try to touch me. Then I lost my mate over five years ago. It tore up my heart, and broke it literally. I felt like I lost everything despite never meeting her."
Her eyes widened, and she reached her hand over instantly to grasp his hand. She realized she was touching him, and went to pull her hand away, but he grabbed hold of it. "I don't mind you touching me. I love your touch, it's just others that is not welcomed. I don't even like shaking hands. Other Alpha's find it rude, but it's just hard to explain.
She couldn't help but smile at him as she squeezed his hand, and a male approached with a box setting it on the table. "Your Apple crumble Alpha." She looked at the box, and then at Raz, and he chuckled. "I thought for dessert tonight we could have some, and perhaps watch movie."
Delilah brightened with excitement. "I am happy to do anything with you. What's a movie?" He chuckled shaking his head. "What do you all do for entertainment?" She tilted her head. "Well, we like to perform for ceremonies. I used to do fire dancing, and other faeries would do things with their gifts. Sila was able to make amazing statues."
He tilted his head. "Well, I hope you like this. I really like the movie Firestarter, and I think you'd like it. It's about a girl with the gift of fire." Her eyes widened with excitement. "Like a faerie?" he shrugged. "She wasn't a faerie, but just a gifted girl. It's a bit scary though."
She chuckled. "Nothing is as scary as Alpha. Can we watch it now?" He chuckled at her excitement, and nodded as he stood up, offering her his hand. She eagerly took it, as he grabbed the box. She wrapped her arms around his arm as she rested her head against it as they walked.
They headed back to the bar, and she stopped suddenly feeling like she was being watched. "Everything okay Delilah?" She couldn't help looking around, before nodding. "Yes, just a weird feeling."
