"I don't know. . .maybe it would be given out to another set of orphans or something. You know will be given quarters." Kite gave his opinion after gulping down a mouth full of rice.
"The minister for hail distributions might ask for some orphans to be transferred from other departments," Luke said still chewing some piece of meat.
"Besides! Luke is going to be there. He will keep us pretty updated." Rex said as he stretched his finger and tickled Luke a bit. Everyone burst into laughter.
The boys were done with eating and they sat observing the things that went on. Brawn was on the other hand uneasy as he racked his brain on what he was going to do about his wolf that night. "I'm going to look around before the Salutaries and Guardians arrive." Brawn excused himself as he needed space to think of a good plan.
The boys nodded while Rex admonished Brawn, "Be careful! No f*****g around. Keep your bullshits to yourself. This is the Sub-pack house, remember?"
"Yes, DADDY!" Brawn answered in a mocking tone as he walked away.
In the sub-pack building, Sparkle and Au were done with dressing. Au was dressed in the red gown with the top decorated with materials shaped like a rose flower. She had her hair packed in two locks tied in two red bonds. Sparkle was dressed in the green flare gown Au gave to her. It had linings attached to the hem. Her hair was tied in a ponytail with a white bond.
Au applied her perfume on her gown and the gown Sparkle wore. She wore a pair of shoes and Sparkle put on sandals. Au went with Sparkle to meet Beta Felicity in her room.
Beta Felicity was already dressed up too. She was dressed in a flowing light blue gown. They decided to go and meet the Luna in her room. The Luna was still dressing up with a few omegas helping her with this and that.
"My Luna, you look very beautiful," Beta Felicity complimented.
The Luna smiled and replied, "Thank you. You are not looking bad either."
After some time, the Luna was done with her dressing. She put on her crown and stood up. Beta Felicity dabbed her cheeks on the Luna's cheeks as a form of greeting. Au also did the same to the Luna.
The Luna and the Beta female decided to wait for their mates to come so that they would go to take their seats at the ceremony together. They decided to sit and chat a little while they waited. Au sat listening to their conversation before she noticed that she was not with her purse where she kept some of her personal items and her money.
She signalled to Sparkle to come to her. Sparkle, who stood at the back of the room like the other omegas in the room came closer to Au and bent her head in an omega-like manner.
Au signalled to her to move closer. When Sparkle did, Au whispered to her in order to prevent interrupting the discussion going on, "I do not have my purse here with me and I am not sure I know where it is."
Sparkle whispered back, "I think you left it in one of the drawers in the room, ma'am. Should I go and get it?"
"Please do."
