"It is precious to me"

"I am sorry, I have to go now," Brawn said releasing his hand from the handshake. "And I too . . . See you later," Sparkle said. Brawn went into the pack building to meet the omega that passed with the basin of water while Sparkle went back to the well to fill up her basin with water. When Brawn got into the pack building, he told the omega that he was unable to carry any of the basins because his wolf has not emerged. The omega volunteered to carry the remaining basins in and Brawn had to go meet the head omega for a new chore. A few moments after dawn, the Alpha and his family woke up. They freshened up and gathered around a brown refectory table in the refectory room for breakfast. The table was a long one. It had twenty-two brown chairs gathered around it. There were four candle stands on the table with candles in them. The family only occupied a side of the table. Au sat by the long side of the table with one of the Alpha's pups while Luna sat opposite her with the other pup. The Alpha sat by the shorter side of the table. After they had finished having their breakfast, everyone left the table and three omegas came to clear the dishes among which was Brawn. The head omega had told him to join those tidying up after the Alpha and his family had finished eating. The head omega wanted to try Brawn in different aspects to see where he could fit in. Au got to her room and Sparkle had finished cleaning the room. Sparkle had taken her bath and was having her breakfast. Au sat in front of the mirror and noticed that one of the earrings she had on her ears, was missing. She quickly looked on the floor to see if it had fallen not quite long. "Sparkle, have you seen my earring? I can't find one of the pair," Au asked still moving her eyes around the floor of the room. She lowered her back as she searched. Sparkle raised her eyes from the food she was eating and looked at Au. She noticed Au's empty left ear. "But you had it on before you went for breakfast, ma'am," Sparkle said. "Yes, I did. I put it on before leaving to have breakfast with the family," Au replied. Sparkle shifted her eyes to her wolf's, left her food and joined Au in searching for it. "I cannot lose this earring. It was my mother's earrings . . ." Au said as she began to cry. She sniffed and said, "It is so precious to me." "You don't need to cry, ma'am. We will find it," Sparkle encouraged as she searched the corners of Au's chambers. After searching for a while, Sparkle said, "I don't think it fell here, maam. Why don't you go check the table where you ate while I check around the pack building?" "Alright, let's do that," Au said in agreement and dashed out of the room. Brawn gathered the crumbs on the floor and on the table with a broom while the other two omegas cleared the plates off the table. As Brawn was sweeping, he stepped on something very hard and sharp with his right foot. It pierced his footwear and his foot. He felt a sharp pain in his foot and jumped away from the spot. "Ouch!" He shrieked and he raised his right foot away from the floor. He felt the object still attached to his foot so he quickly sat on the floor and placed his right foot on his left knee to examine the sole of his shoe. He saw a shining diamond attached to the sole of his shoe. He removed it and saw that it was an earring. He stood up and tried to decide what he should do. He thought to himself that it should belong to the Luna, judging from the nature of the earring. He decided that he was going to give it to the Luna but when she was not with the Alpha. He was happy to deliver it to her as he saw it as a way of thanking her for saving his life.
