Au moved her eyes from one point to the other as she scanned the hospital.
Salutary Hale had a big grin on his face as he started introducing the werewolves that served in the hospital to the dignitaries around. He felt really honoured to have them in his place of service.
"So this is my able assistant, Putt. . . and that is, Drey, a very caring guardian . . ." everyone he introduced greeted with a bow and a big smile
He got to where the boys were and said, "These are my boys! I like to call them my personal hospital warriors." He smirked again and looked around at the dignitaries, as though inviting them to share the joke.
The boys raised their heads towards the dignitaries and gave a bow. They had been earlier pretending to be concentrating on meshing the herbs so as to appear as very serious-minded and hardworking werewolves.
As Brawn raised his eyes, his eyes met with Au's eyes. It seemed to lock with her eyes for some time and then she looked away. She moved away from where the boys were and continued exploring the hospital.
Felicity had been talking with the assistant salutary about the herbs to help relieve headaches. She was given the herb and she went to give it to Au. Au drank it and thanked the head salutary for his time.
They decided to go back to the sub-pack house. When Au got to the door, she turned and said, waving her right hand, "Bye, everyone . . . see you at the ceremony."
And everyone chorused, "Bye, ma'am."
Felicity also waved as they exited the building. The head salutary and his assistant saw them off. The head salutary went with them back to the sub-pack house while the assistant head salutary went back into the hospital.
"Wow! Such beauties," Rex said as he poured some mashed herbs into a bigger bowl.
Kite, one of the boys who was about the same age as Brawn added, "The two ladies that came along with the Beta female are really beautiful."
Brawn who had been following Au around the hospital with his eyes finally asked, "Who were those ladies that were with Beta Felicity? I have never seen them before."
"Well, judging from the resemblance of the one Salutary Hale took around, with the beta female, I think she should be Beta Felicity's sister . . . but the other lady, I can't place it," Luke inferred.
"Did you hear that, Raw? She is the Alpha's sister. I saw the way you glued your eyes to her throughout her stay . . . She is for the big guns," Alex said as he tapped Brawn on the right shoulder.
"Oh, you noticed it too? I thought I was the only one who saw the way he was drooling at her." Rex said looking at Alex. He turned to Brawn and said, "Put yourself together bro . . . She has the danger sign written on her head. Keep off!"
"Blah Blah Blah. You guys can keep blabbing. A young werewolf can have dreams," Brawn said moving the little pestle he used in mashing, held in his right hand, around.
"Then my advice to you is to wake up," Kite chuckled.
"Tell him, bro. He doesn't know most dreams don't come to reality," Rex added.
"You guys don't know if the moon goddess has destined us to be mates that is why she came here today," Brawn said with a smile.
The boys looked at one another and burst into laughter. Brawn laughed also because he did not believe what he said too.
Au returned to the sub-pack house with her sister. Beta Felicity took her up to a room that had been prepared for her upstairs. Her sister opened the door and showed her the room.
"I had it decorated just as you like it. Everything to your taste." Beta Felicity said with a convinced tone. She looked at Au and asked, "Do you like it?"
"Of course I do. Thank you so much for the stress you went through to make this in this manner. I really appreciate it," Au said.
"Come on, it is no stress at all. This place is also your home. I will like you to be coming here often."
"I will try to. Thanks once again," Au said as she hugged Beta Felicity.
Au went into the room and Sparkle followed carrying their luggage. Beta Felicity left the room and went downstairs.
"I told you coming to the sub-pack was not going to be that bad," Sparkle said as she started unpacking.
"Yes, you said so . . . You did say so," said Au as she lay on the bed and spread her hands wide. She added, "It is not going badly after all."
A knock was heard on the door. Au answered sitting up on the bed, "Yes, who is it?"
