Chapter 18. Goddess on earth

I dropped the little garden hoe and ran to the front yard. panic settled in me until I saw Wyatt hugging his mom.

“ ohh, Lenora.. you guys haven’t age One bit.” She smiled walking over to me with her arms stretched out to hug me. I laughed.

“ neither did you, and we saw each other last Christmas.” She pulls away from my hug and went to hug my mom.

We all laughed before she got serious and said.

“ alright, so tell me about the situation now, I can’t stay long my mate would notice that I’m gone.”

“ what do you mean.” Wyatt frowned and asked.

“ oh, don’t you remember he’s no longer the alpha he has more time on his hands now.” I can see he wanted to ask something else but he just nodded in understanding.

We explained to Jackie about the pictures and messages my mom received and what Wyatt pointed out to differentiate us. I must say I was surprised with how calm and collected Jackie is and how well prepared she came.

“ okay. I know an IT technician he’s from my old pack. I’ll get in contact with him. Also I have a few trusted warriors I’ll let them in when we come up with a proper plan. as for now, don’t act irrational. Sylvia, I’ll get a few guards to guard the house, just to be safe.” We nodded.

“Thank you.”my mom and I said in unison as she got up to hold Jackie’s hands in hers.

“ thank you, Jackie. There’s no words to express how grateful I am.” She smiled

“ we’re all family, and that’s what family do. Better safe than sorry.” She returned my moms smile and a hug.

“ another thing we haven’t spoken about.” Wyatt said clearing his throat looking uneasy.

“ what?.” I said feeling my heartbeat pick up pace.he looks at me worriedly

“ your mom was unconscious while they did cesarean section on her. What if..what if she’s the first born.. and she’s the four species wolf the seer was talking about. You’re a hybrid yes but what if she’s more, what if she’s stronger than you.” Wyatt’s hands brush throw his hair roughly. Tears brimming his redden eyes.

He tried to blink them away but they only fell and he quickly wiped them off with the back of his hand.

“ I’m sorry but if she tries to harm any of you I won’t hold back.”

“ well I don’t think she is. Besides you saw the messages she sent mom, she was being tortured.” I said softly trying to calm him down.

“ that’s exactly my point. how did she manage to get away.”

Evon’s POV

I was walking to the supermarket with my girlfriend or should I say my future luna. my mom had told me Since I was a kid my dad would always say he believed that auri was my mate and if she wasn’t I’d have to take her as my chosen mate. Her father too had agreed because they thought it would be good to merge our already big packs and to keep the connection. I would be eighteen in about two months so We would know if she’s my fated mate or not.

“ I can’t wait to join our packs together and become your Luna.” Auri stated

“ yea, me either but I’d have to wait another two years or so for you though.” I smiled weakly looking at her pretty grey eyes, she’s so pretty. I was so lost in admiring auri when I felt someone bumped into me.

I turn to look but before i knew it I’m reaching out to catch the person from falling. I quickly tried to apologize but didn’t get to. Is this the goddess herself that came down to earth, she is a beauty to behold.

As auri tried to make me not apologize I couldn’t help but look at her in a daze and for a minute I could swear that I’m feeling a little sparks just by touching her, and I don’t want to let go.

Her blue hazel green eyes. The sea blue shade is more prominent than the other two colours. Brows well shaped. Her little button nose, bow shaped lips with what smells like strawberry lipgloss. Her auburn hair stretch down the middle of her back and it went so well with her tanned skin tone. She seems to be standing at five feet one or two. She is gorgeous. The goddess herself.

And if I’m not mistaken, she is my mate. I was so lost in drinking in her beauty and taking comfort in the tiny bit of sparks that is there that when she suddenly pushed me away I realized I was still holding her.the loss of contact puts a heavy weight in my chest.

Shit!. I cursed in my head. Auri was talking the whole time and I didn’t even hear a thing. it was as if she was automatically blocked out after I locked eyes with this goddess here.

“ wait, what’s your name.” I shouted. I want to know so I can go ask about her later on.

“ evon, I am right here and you’re asking for her name. have some respect.” Auri huffed.

“ babe, as the future alpha, I’m required to get to know all pack members. Don’t act like you don’t know this.”

“ well it seems to me that you want to get to know her more than a pack member.” She fold her hands under her breast shifting to one leg.

“ Auri, come on, don’t start this now. we were having a good day already don’t ruin it.” I said pushing my hands through my hair and walked away to go into the store.

“ oh, so I ruin it now?. Really?.” She gritted following close behind me before continuing.

“ I wasn’t the one eye fu.ck.ing a random girl I bumped into with my hands all over her.” I stopped in my track and turned to face her.

“ why exactly are you mad Auri, That I caught her before she fell or that I asked her for her name.” I ask. My eyes pinned on hers.

“ all of it. The moment she bumped into you, you holding her so intimately, you asking for her name..not to mention she pushed you and you did nothing.” She complained.

I took a deep breath before nodding understanding where she’s coming from. So to calm her down, I pulled her into a hug closing my eyes. The face of the girl from earlier appeared. Surprisingly I held Auri tighter while nuzzling her neck nipping at her collar bone and she let out a soft moan.

“ alright, let’s get what we came for and hurry back. You’re not here for long and I want to spend as much time with you.” I told her breaking the hug and she smile.

I can’t mess this up my dad will ki*l me. Auri and I are the one chance to merging our pack. But at the same time what if this girl is my mate? Is she worth giving up to pull a pack for power. I must know her name and where she stays by tonight.
