The Alpha's Hybrid Mate Book II: The Awakening

“ I thought yesterday was bad….and then I woke up….” I looked at my mate. I could see the disbelief in his eyes. From what my memories had played out I had been dead or asleep for almost a week. From what I remembered I had been a participate in the Mating Ritual called the Rühn. I battled and ran against a she-wolf in a rival pack and I had won. However she decided that she was not okay with the results and she slammed her claws through my stomach. The Moon Goddess must have not agreed with my death because hours ago I was clawing out of the burial I had been given by the community in the pack. Everyone had mourned me, their rightful Luna. I could see that my death, my murder had taken a toll on Nikoli, our pack’s Alpha. If only I had not been a child clinging to my mother’s wishes and just mated with him in the first place. But the energy that coursed through my body showed that my actions were to serve a purpose. I inhaled new breath as I felt my body change. I looked at my mate, his eyes were shrunken in, no doubt from mourning me. I could tell my death did not deplete him physically but emotional and mentally his was wounded. He was wearing pajama bottoms that fit his form, I could see every muscle and tattoo that dawn his body. A smile flitted to my face for a moment, this man was mine. I step froward but just like that I was against his bedroom wall with his hand around my throat. I could hear him growling at my throat. What should have terrified me sent chills down my spine and heat to my core. “Who are you,” he growled. I could see his eyes bleed black. I touched his face and he flinched away. He shook his head. “Its me,” I whispered. I kissed his jawline. I could see his eyes flicker but he was still hesitate. “You can’t be…she’s,” I saw his Adam’s Apple bob up and down in frustration. His nose and wolf were trying to convince him that I was his mate but his mind thought otherwise. I could not blame him. “Nik, I’m not dead.” I tilted my head up to look him in his eyes. If anyone else did this it would be considered a challenge to his status. He did not growl, he was getting the idea that it was me. His eyes searched mine before he slammed his body into mine. I was out of breath for a moment for the force of his hug. Nikoli buried his nostrils in my neck and head, taking in my scent as if I would disappear on him. I chuckled as his hands roamed my form. He let go of my throat but he kept his hands on my body. I felt my skin burn and I looked at my marks. I hissed as I saw the marks burn my skin. “What is this,” I cried. “Looks like the Moon Goddess recognized you as the winner of the Runh.” Nikoli said as he kissed my neck. I smiled. “So what’s my prize Alpha,” I challenged. He froze and his head lifted to met my gaze. His hand went to the back of my neck and slammed his lips against mine. He was possessing me. Engulfing my entire soul with his and this time I would not fight him. Never again. I thought. Never again would I let fight my love for this man. He picked me up and wrapped my arms around his waist as he moved us to the bed. Nikoli looked down at my form underneath his. I could tell he was waiting. Waiting for me to run away from him. I lifted my body on my forearms and brushed my tongue against his bottom lip. “What are you waiting for puppy?” I smirked as he kissed me passionately. As I returned the kiss and let Nikoli explore my mouth I felt it. The moment he touched me, the moment I gave into him a flame lick my body and engulfed my soul. I heard him groan. “That…” I looked at the Alpha. “Was that you,” I questioned. “That is the power of the mating bond, when we stopped fighting against one another.” He smiled into the kiss. “But I need you to say it, little fox. I need to hear that you are not running from me…from us.” I gazed up at him. I pulled him closer in to my kiss. “I’m not going anywhere, Nik.” He smiled at me and kissed my collarbone. I moaned at the nip he bit into my flesh. I watched him take the dress in his hands and tear it down the middle of my body. I gasped at the sheer strength of my mate. “That was mine,” I joked. He shook his head, giving me a stern look. “I am not going to have you in the dress that we buried you in,” he growled at me. His hands went to my hips and bent down to kiss the cloth that covered my breasts. I saw his hand shift into a claw as he sliced at the already flimsy material. Nikoli bent down and kissed the valley in between my breast and I groan when I felt his tongue glide down my stomach. “You have no idea how long I have wanted to make you mine,” he said putting his fingers under my panties. I whimpered as he torn the garment off with ease as he did the others. He got closer to my ear and whispered to me. “When you feel it repeat after me alright.” “Yes,” I said gathering my courage. He went to the first mark on my skin. He nipped at the moon that was on my shoulder, I could smell a drop of my blood in the air. I groaned at the second of pleasure that followed the pain as he kissed and sucked on my neck. “I am yours,” Nikoli said in a serious manner. I looked at him and I felt power rage through me. I had not felt this since we discovered I bared all three of the Alpha’s Marks. “I am yours,” I repeated. I watched Nikoli gracefully slide down my body without touching me. The sheer teasing had me wiggling under him . I felt him grab my ankle and kiss the mark that settle there. He looked at me. “Don’t move, little fox.” I nodded. The look in his eyes had me at his mercy. “Good girl.” He said as he captured my lips once more. He broke the kiss and I was breathing heavily. I felt the fire travel down my leg to my ankle. It was like the marks were connecting to one another. “I am your mate as you are mine,” Nikoli said as his eyes flicked to crimson. I swallowed my fear as I repeated his notion. “I am your mate as you are mine.” Whatever pain I was feeling was building. He pushed my legs apart and settle within my thighs. “Nik,” I whispered. He bent down and kissed me. “It’s going to hurt,” he looked at me. “I cannot stop the pain, but I am right here. I love you Zoe.” I tilted head back as I felt his knuckles brush against my core. I hissed at my bare skin being touched. I tried to move closer to his touch but he quickly grabbed my hips halting me. “So impatient,” he tsked at me. He licked my inner thigh, bit down and sucked on the exposed flesh. I moaned at his boldness. I reached for him but he grabbed my wrist with his hand and pulled them above my head. “Relax,” he whispered as he licked and nipped at my skin. He reached the last mark and did not say word. Just like the others he bite down but this time I felt him break skin. I screamed out a moan. I was so dazed that I thought I saw shadows of a wolf chasing a fox. I arched my back and moaned as he licked my core. I did not even noticed that the Alpha had lay on his stomach and started to feast on my mind, body and soul. I moaned out his name as he did not slow his actions. I tried to wiggle again but I felt him tighten his hand around my wrists. “I thought I told you to be still, baby.” I gasped. I nodded as I rode the power and heat that raged through my body. I let Nikoli take the lead and overpower me. My entire body began to tense up. I could feel my body riding the edge of pleasure. I don’t know when but Nikoli had slid his digits inside of me replacing his tongue. His breath was against my neck as a smile graced his beautiful face. The feeling built to the point where there was no where else to go. I cannot control my body or my voice. I stared at Nikoli as he kissed me once more. I heard him whisper to me, “Let go.” A scream raked out of my body and core as everything crashed around me. I panted trying to gather what little thoughts I had left. I saw Nikoli remove his clothes and settle back between my legs. His eyes glowed with power that I had never seen before. “Are you ready little fox,” he said as he stared down at me.
