Elrisa's battle II

The black rabbit that Chang’e summon is something monstrous. Even after suffering several explosions from Elrisa’s ability, it is still standing strong. Despite the wounds on the rabbit’s body, it doesn’t seem to affect its movement at all. Contrary to its big build, it is extremely agile.

Elrisa, on the other hand, hasn’t suffered any wounds, but her energy is quickly depleting. It will be a battle of endurance whether the black rabbit will go down first or her energy runs out. Elrisa is still taking a precaution since she doesn’t know whether Chang’e could still summon more rabbits or not.

Elrisa battle style is more of a ranged attack using her bubbles and piling up wounds on the enemy’s body to subdue them. She could do close-ranged battles, but she is more proficient with using her bubble this way. The black bear-like rabbit is trying to get into close range to attack Elrisa. Elrisa knows that with one swipe from the bear, she would be in a critical condition.

Elrisa also always keeps an eye out for Chang’e lest she makes a sudden move. Chang’e herself could be categorized as a summoner. Although there’s no such classification under the United Heroes association, there are several heroes with similar abilities. The easiest example is Kalina that could summon various plants to do her bidding.

Most of the time, they are weak in close combat fights, but there is always some exception. Kalina herself is pretty good at close combat as she taught Max how to battle. That is also the reason why Elrisa doesn’t want to look down on Chang’e at all.

“How about we finish this battle quickly? I am starting to get bored.”

Chang’e then asked Elrisa playfully. Either it was because her rabbit couldn’t hold on for much longer, or it was all just a trick to lure Elrisa into making a mistake.

Elrisa also knows that she will need to end this battle soon to help the rest of the heroes in the other stadium and even support Max and Giovanni if their battle hasn’t finished yet. After all, although Giovanni possessed S-rank speed, Elrisa guessed that Richard’s strength is on the same level.

The parking lot also started to return to its original state as the number of bubbles that Elrisa created has diminished considerably. Elrisa decided to end it with the next move as all of the remaining bubbles surrounds the black rabbit.

*boom boom*

The explosion is on a different scale than the previous one, as this time, Elrisa used up all the bubbles in the area. When the dust cloud from the explosion clears up, the black rabbit is not moving anymore. Elrisa is about to smile before she realized, Chang’e has been missing from her original spot.

Elrisa tried to look around, but she couldn’t find her anywhere. Before suddenly she has a bad feeling about it. The moment she turned her body once again, Chang’e is standing there. Her form is entirely different from earlier. There’s a long pink-colored rabbit’s ear above her head as her hands and legs are covered by the same fur.

Earlier, Elrisa thought that Chang’e is a summoner, but that thought couldn’t be more wrong. The feat that Chang’e is showing right now is only possible to be performed by body manipulation ability. Chang’e, who appeared behind Elrisa, sends out a punch towards her.

With the last ounce of her power, Elrisa created a bubble around her that acted as a shield. However, a rushed defensive measure couldn’t handle the force of a well-prepared attack. The bubble that Elrisa created popped just like in bath time. Chang’e powerful punch continued and landed on Elrisa’s chest. Sending Elrisa’s body with a tremendous amount of force to the point she hit three cars on the parking lot and dragged it along with her body backward.

Only after a few more meters, Elrisa’s body stopped going backward as she coughed out blood. Chang’e wanted to launch a follow-up attack to seal Elrisa’s fate, but a small bunny suddenly comes out from the ground, halting her movement.

“Whitey! What is it?”

The rabbit then seemed to say something important to Chang’e as her smiling expression turned serious right away after hearing it.

“Is that true? Richard lost, and now people are trying to take him away?”

Chang’e has to make a choice. Whether she finish Elrisa right here, right now, or go to the stadium and save Richard. Her decision is evident since she wasn’t there on a mission to kill a hero or create a disturbance. Her mission is to ‘escort’ Richard to make sure that nothing terrible is happening to him.

“Alright, I’ll go and save him right now.”

With a simple-looking jump, Chang’e easily reached the roof of the stadium. She looked down, and she easily spotted Richard that is going to be taken away in a stretcher. If it weren’t for her rabbit, she wouldn’t know that it was Richard since the skin on his body has been torn away.

“How did he become so ugly? Anyway, let’s save him first.”

Chang’e then performed another jump and landed beside the stretcher that is carrying Richard. The people holding the stretcher are surprised by her sudden appearance, not to mention her human-rabbit form.

With a smile on her face, Chang’e politely asked. “Do you mind if I take him with me?”

The people holding the stretcher are just ordinary people without extraordinary power. There is no way for them to resist Chang’e, so they can only shake their head to answer her question.

“Good. I think I’ll take the stretcher along with me. If not, it would be hard for me to carry him. This is okay too, right?”

This time, the people holding the stretcher nod vigorously, and by the time they tried to look at Chang’e again, she is already gone from their sight. The people from evil mastermind come and go just like the storm. It comes uninvited and gone before people realized it.
