The Rituals Part 3: Welcome.

I was About to start getting ready when I heard a knock at my door,Answering it I saw Three women,The first being Gigi,The second being Clara And the Third being None other than Brandon's mother,I must have looked surprised because She let out a heavenly laugh ,"Oh dear girl,You didn't think we'd leave such an important pack member to get ready on her own did you?" Her cherry red Smile remained on her face with excitement.

"i..uh..Come in." I Managed to say,Making way for them as they strode past me,I saw Clara With a garment bag and curiosity peaked my interest.

"What's in the bag?" I said curiously.

Clara smiled kindly " we thought that you could wear a Cover up To the ceremony,And we also brought a bikini ,We know its normally underwear but a bikini isn't that different really.We thought you might prefer it."

She unzipped the garment back,A beautiful White Silk feel cover up dress with a floral lace detail on the bodice,There was A stunning White Bikini to go with it but instead of it being halter neck,It was more of a waterproof bra ,Small floral designs were laced into the material and The bottoms matched.

"Woah that's..A lot of white and it's stunning." I Gasped.

"Normally You wear White on the day of your rituals, Especially to the lake,To show purety." Gigi commented

"Well try it on!" Darcy smiled.

I went into the bathroom to change,The Bikini fit perfectly Then I put on the cover up and it made my skin glow.For once my skin wasn't pale against the soft fabric,It looked slightly tanned.

I came out smiling and everyone nodded their heads in approval.

"Right,The next bit of you getting ready is accepting what you're going to do" Gigi worded carefully.

I gave her a panicked look,Taking a deep breath."I know what I've got to do" I sighed,biting my lip a little.

"But you haven't accepted it" Darcy Said quietly,"I have a technique I'd like you to try"

I nodded quickly "Okay"

She took my hand "When you stand at that lake and undress yourself,Don't Look at yourself,Imagine there's A bodysuit underneath instead of a bikini."

I closed my eyes And imagined A red Bodysuit underneath that covered everything important and then I opened my eyes and nodded. "I think I can do that"

She smiled kindly "You're A gorgeous girl, Remember that."

I nodded ,Clara Cleared her throat "We should really get going now" ,I looked at the time '6.47PM',I took a deep breath and nodded.I didn't bother to put any shoes on as I was told it was traditional not to wear them,I headed out if the door to see Alex waiting for me,He was wearing a White suit With bare feet too ,I raised an eyebrow.

"Don't even say it" He grumbled

I stiffled a Laugh as he glanced at my dress "White too?"

I nodded,"they said it's traditional "

"That'll be why they gave me a White suit then" he looked down at himself in distaste.

I gestured towards the stairs "Come on,Let's go"

We all walked down the stairs,heading to the Lake outside where Chairs had been set up and A small podium draped in white. Gigi and Clara gave me a hug each before they went to their places.

Darcy squeezed my shoulder,"You'll need to go to the front now" she whispered quietly. " don't worry,Just remember what I said."She smiled.

I nodded,giving her the bravest sole I could muster,Then she too went to take her place.

I took Alex's hand."Together?" I asked.

"Together" he confirmed, Giving me a squeeze.

We walked Down to the front hand in hand to calm our nerves,upon reaching the front,A familiar set of green eyes smiled at me. Brandon.

We Joined Brandon on each side,Breaking our hand contact As the ceremony began.I looked out onto the crowd and Gulped,Trying to keep myself calm.

"Let the welcoming ceremony begin." Brandon boomed beside me.

"You will both now strip before submerging yourself into the lake, Finally taking a run through the Forrest and joing us back here." he declared.We both nodded ,Alex gave me a look and I nodded. I took a deep breath.

okay Red bodysuit.Red bodysuit. Just Covering up everything. I thought to myself as I lifted my coverall to show my floral Bikini.Butterflies fluttered wildly in my stomach,making me want to throw up,But I didn't,I kept it down and headed towards the lake with Alex who had stripped to his pair of white boxers.

We Both were at the foot of the lake,I took a few steps back before running and diving in,I saw Alex do the same a second later out of the corner of my eye.

My body hit the ice Cold water Like A harsh Slap in the face.It was Freezing,Every nerve in my body began to numb and I swam to the surface with a gasp,Wiping the water from my eyes.

I swam to the Edge of the lake,Pulling myself up onto the grass And waited for Alex to do the same.He resurfaced and And got out quickly.My body shook with Cold As I started to run toward the Forrest,Alex Running beside me.We broke into the Forrest,My feet Slipping into the mud as I took each step,Splattering dirt all over me.We Followed The Lights that paved the way for us until we broke out 2 minutes later,My breath irregular as I reached the podium.I stood sopping wet and covered in dirt on the podium ,As did Alex.

Alex spoke up first.

"I Alex White am now A pack member of The Estrella Moon pack, I declare that I am now and Always will be Loyal To Alpha Brandon Clarkson and swear always to protect and serve The Alpha"

"Our minds are one,our Heart are our own,We Welcome Alex White into our home."

The pack chanted in unison.

Alex stumbled a little,Before looking dazed,Brandon turned to me next and gave me a nod.

"I Autumn White am now A pack member of The Estrella Moon pack, I declare that I am now and Always will be Loyal To Alpha Brandon Clarkson and swear always to protect and serve The Alpha"

"Our minds are one,our Heart are our own,We Welcome Autumn White into our home."

They chanted again.

I was hit with a sudden emotion,I stumbled back and Brandon put his hand on my shoulder to steady me. "You okay?" he frowned.He swayed in my sight and his eyes widened a little.

"Ceremony is over!" he boomed.Everyone started to disperse and he picked me up wrapping his warm arms around me."Everything is spinning" I muttered tiredly.

"Shh it's gonna be okay, We'll get you to Dr Jefferson and see what's going on."He whispered.

In next to no time I was laid on what felt like a bed."I'm burning!" I Screamed.

"What's wrong with her?!" I heard the alpha yell.

"Alpha please let me do my job!" I heard Dr Jefferson plead.

"Brandon come now,We must wait outside" I heard Darcy Say worriedly.

"No I'm not leaving her!"

"You must" She demanded and soon the room went quiet.

I felt cold hands press against my face and a bright light shone in my eye. Excruciating pain shot through my body and I yelled out in frustration. Then it stopped.A clicking sensation in my mind occurred,the pain stopped and my body started to cool down and I breathed a sigh of relief. I felt weak.

"What happened?" I said groggily as Dr Jefferson came into sight.

"I'm not sure Luna" he looked worriedly down at me,Before calling the alpha back in.Brandon ran his hands over my face,Checking to see if I was okay. He sighed.

Hello Autumn.

A voice Whispered.I frowned looking around "Hello?" I said.

Brandon looked at me funny ,"Someone said hello" I explained.had he not heard it?

"No one said anything autumn." Brandon Frowned.

Huh.

I've been waiting a long time To meet you!

A voice sounded excitedly again.Louder this time.

I darted my yes around the room to see who was talking. "One of you spoke again.You said I've been waiting a long time to meet you" I said confused.

I heard a low Chuckle come from somewhere.

Brandon sniffed me before his eyes lit up."Autumn! ,You have your wolf!"

Audible gasps were heard around the room.

"How do I speak to her?" I asked

"You should think about how it felt when you got your wolf and then think what you want to say, That'll open up a mind link." he Said excitedly.

About time you spoke.

I gasped."It worked!"

They all gave me smiled before saying something about privacy between me and my wolf and exiting the room.
