The Informer

ALEX'S POV

I Paced back and forth in my room.Where are they?! They should be here.Why aren't they here? this is where we left them.

Gigi put a hand on my shoulder."Hey don't worry I'm sure They're fine,They probably sorted it out by now." she said reasuringly but my wolf still screamed bloody murder inside me.

We should find her!We're meant to protect her!Why aren't we out searching damnit?!

I had returned to my room a half hour after we were ordered out,Just to check she was okay.When we got here,They weren't here and the window was Open wide,Her clothes were torn up on the floor.I cursed myself for leaving them.

"Damn Gigi ,what if something bad happened? I'm meant to protect her! " I punched the wall in a rage.

She took a step back before placing a calm look on her face,"Brandon would never let that happen"

I glared at her."You saw how she was,He was the one who hurt her in the first place."

She sighed "I know my brother,He wouldn't harm a hair on her head"

"How can you be so su-"

A knock sounded,I ran to the door,yanking it open.

There she stood,beaming at me with Him behind her,She walked into my room and sat on the bed next to Gigi.Brandon followed sheepishly behind.

I scanned her from bottom to top for any signs of injury and then I saw it,my eyes landing on it with an uncontrolled emotion.Rage.I let out an earth shattering growl.

"WHAT IS THAT?" I Boomed ,Pointing at her neck,Making them both flinch off guard.

"I..Alex.." she laughed nervously ,"you know what this is,We are mates.." she looked at me in confusion.

I rounded on Brandon,Noting how he bared her mark too.

"YOU MARKED HER?" My eyes burned in rage. How dare he.He marked her without her knowing the consequences.Wait if he marked her then..

"Alex,calm down" Brandon said slowly as I began to breathe heavily.

"You.Marked.my.Sister?!" I huffed out angrily,trying to control my wolf.

"I wanted him to Alex" Autumn fidgeted uncomfortably. "We completed the mating ritual."

I saw flashes of red and the familiar snapping of bones ,I was shifting uncontrollably.I forced myself out of the window just in time,Landing on all fours on the ground below.It had been a long time since I'd let my wolf run.But I wasn't alone,A Grey wolf with a black patch eye landed next to me earning a growl from me.

She growled back ,Rolling over,To show she came in peace.I sniffed the air Gigi?

Alex it's okay, They're both happy and safe and that's all that matters right?

You don't get it,I said as I ran towards the woods.

Then tell me ,she pleaded.

I slowed to a trot beside her. She's in danger. I sighed.

I told you Brandon won't harm her.

It's not Brandon I worried about.

Then who?

The people that attacked our old pack weren't just any rogues,They were looking for her,they were hunting her.I just don't know why.

How do you know this?

my mum told me to protect her and to hide her,that the rogues were coming for her. My heart hurt at the memory.

You need to tell Brandon.

I know,I Just...Now she has a mate and they've completed the ritual..If we have to leave to get her to safety..

They'll both Die. She finished

Yes.

We walked in silence through the woods until we came across water,I allowed my wolf to clean itself in the river,then took back control.

I changed behind the nearest pine tree grabbing clothes from the trunk of it.

Gigi followed suit and soon we were walking in human form through the woods."So what are we gonna do?" she questioned.

"Well I have to tell Brandon everything I know,Then it's ultimately up to him.Ive protected her for so long Gi,I can't break the habit now.Im convinced I'll die protecting her" I said Sadly.

"And who will protect you?" she said abruptly.

"I.." I opened my mouth to speak when I realised I didn't have an answer.

"Me I guess."

She nodded."You can't put so much pressure on yourself to do this alone" she spoke softly. "You need help,And we can provide that ,Me,Brandon,My mum and dad,Darren,Josh,Clara,Even Carson." she smiled.

"And when she becomes Luna, She'll be the most defended female in the pack,you know that.Any one of them would die for her."

She's right ,My wolf chipped in.

I know she is,This girls too intelligent for her own good .I chuckled

"Of course , You're right." I sighed.

She laughed."I always am"

BRANDONS POV

"He's fine,he just needs a little time to adjust" I said stroking autumns cheek,she looked deeply upset and slightly shocked.

"I've never seen him so Angry" She whispered.

"I know,I know,He's just used to him protecting you,Now it's my job,I've practically just taken over his job,you can't blame him for being angry." I pressed her face to my chest,stroking her hair softly.

I felt her sigh into my chest. She obviously thought he'd be happy.Just then I got a mind link from Gigi

Alex has something to tell you,meet you in your office in ten.

I'll be there

I closed off the mind link. "Alex would like to speak to me in my office,Why don't you go on up to bed? I'll meet you up there." I suggested,Only earning a glare. Ofcourse that wasn't going to work.

"Right" I mumbled. "Come on then" She took my hand which made my heart soar ,The Electrifying tingles running up my arms.

When we got to the office they were both waiting nervously,their backs to us ,"Alex?" ,He turned smiling at Autumn weakly,"Hey,I'm sorry for the way I acted,I had no right.I just want you safe" he mumbled.

"It's Fine,I'm just glad you're okay." She walked up to him,Letting my hand go as she hugged him.

I cleared my throat and they pulled apart awkwardly,"You wanted to talk to me?" I Said confidently.

He scratched the back of his head looking at autumn nervously."Yes,Privately if I may."

I nodded as autumn Sent him a confused look.

Gigi would you mind distracting her for a while? I sent via mind link and she gave me a knowing look,nodding.

"Hey Autz,You wanna go make some pancakes with me and let the guys speak?" she said enthusiastically,grabbing autumns hand as she went to object."It'll be fun!" She dragged her out of the room and I heard autumns thoughts as she went past

Oh no.That's what you said last time ,when we went shopping,We were there for hours.

I held in a laugh.My sister sure knew how to shop.

When the door shut with a click I turned my attention back to Alex.I raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't know how to tell you before ,I didn't know myself really but I figured it all out a couple days ago and-"

"Alex" I said cutting him off "Get to the point"

"She's in danger.The rogues Came for her that night,Not everyone,just her,Everyone died protecting her."

My wolf growled."Why did they come for her?"

"I don't know,All I remember is my mother telling me to protect her all costs,that she's special and they were coming for her"

I nodded my head "I see"

"And now she's going to be revealed to the supernatural world again.." he grimaced

"You're worried they're still hunting her?,That they will attack again?"

He nodded."There's something else,I had a flashback of when we were young and I don't know how to explain it...I remember someone trying to Attack her,only when they got close..They were fired backwards,Almost like a shield was there."

I shook my head "That's not possible.Shes a wolf,Not a witch.That would mean someone Cast a shield Spell on her.Are you sure that's a real flashback and not a dream?"

"I'm certain." he nodded with confidence.

"I'm taking it she doesn't know" ,He shook his head "I couldn't bring myself to tell her."

"This needs to be discussed with my parents,they knew her parents better than I or you,Maybe They'll know what they wanted her for."

"I think that's a good idea."

"I'll summon them" I Said,Mind linking them.With in 5 minutes they were entering the office,I explained what Alex had told me and watched their faces pale.

"Mom?,Dad?" ,"What do you know about this?"

"So it's true" my mother whispered,Holding my father's arm for support.

"Darcy we promised we'd never speak of it to anyone" He Said lowly.

"And yet all those we promised are dead"She welled up with tears.

"Honey ,Autumns in a lot of trouble..We should have told you sooner but we thought perhaps it wasn't really ..well.. Autumn.But now with Alex's information..." tears ran down her cheeks " It really is her" she half sobbed,half whispered.

"What do you mean alot of trouble?" I asked,Staring between my parents.

"She's a unique creature ,We know she has some abilities that other wolves don't.It started when she was younger,When she was born,She used to bloom the flowers everywhere she went,And she used to float toys in the air.At first we thought a witch had cast a spell on her ,Then we learnt that autumns grandmother Was a witch,It mostly skips a generation.She has the powers of a witch without knowing or learning it.This alone is not what makes her dangerous..She's also an Alpha Female,2nd of her kind,This only happens when two Alphas come together to create a full blooded female alpha.Her mother was An alphas Daughter making her alpha blood,And He was an Alphas Son,making him alpha blood too."

"But autumn told us her mother grew up in the pack?"

"She did son,Her pack was disbanded and taken over To form a bigger pack,The Snow Moon pack."my father Said quietly.

"But a witch?,Shes not,I'd know,she would tell me,And She hasn't shown any signs" I Blurted out,frustrated.

"Honey maybe she doesn't know,When I talked about her grandmother being a witch she didn't seem to know about magic then,And as for being an alpha Wolf, Well,That's very believable,don't you think?"

I looked at her confused,Alex doing the same.

She raised an eyebrow,"A normal wolf would let you be in control ,Submit even,She's head strong and She doesn't let anyone boss her around.She breaks every rule in the book and yet here she is."

I sighed. "You're right,she really is an alpha female.But a witch..I don't know mum ,All the witches I've met were alot different,I think you're wrong."

She shrugged,"I can prove it.Mind link autumn and Tell her everything,She deserves to know.,Then meet me downstairs And we'll put her to the test."She said with authority.

Me and Alex growled in unison. I'm glad we're both on the same page.No tests.

"Testing mum?!,really?!,You want to hurt our Luna?"I yelled in my alpha tone.

She gasped,Flinching"What? no! ,They wouldn't hurt her!,You get her to recite an incantation that would make her reveal her witch identity,If she's not a witch,nothing will happen."

"Also don't ever use your alpha tone in me again young man,you aren't too old to be bent over my knee and Spanked."

I blushed,Feeling embarrassed.

"sorry mum" I Grumbled.

Alex sniggered beside me."Whipped" He whispered.

My mother's head whipped to him making his sniggering stop abruptly"Don't think just because you aren't my son,I won't do it to you too".

I smirked at him as he looked Guilty.

"Sorry Luna Darcy" he mumbled.

She put on an innocent face,"Please dear,Call me Darcy" She patted His shoulder before turning to me,"I trust you boys will tell her Now?" She emphasised the word now ,making us Nod our heads."We'll tell you when we're done Mum"

And with that she left and I Opened a mind link to autumn.Come to my office

Be there soon,no Gigi I don't want more.

Princess, you're still in the mind link.Gigi probably didn't hear you.

Oh sorry,here we go.

I felt her cut it off and I chuckled to myself before I turned to Alex with a serious face. "She's coming"

He grimaced and we both knew the next part wouldn't be easy. Soon a knock sounded and I yelled 'come in' ,Gigi and autumn stood before us and I swallowed. Here goes nothing.
