He married Esther cause her beauty caught his attention, not minding the fact that he was too mature for her Exposition: Esther was from a very poor home, they could barely see a plate of food to eat daily. As a result of this extreme hunger, Esther's parents didn't think twice when Douglas found interest in her and decided to marry her not thinking of he was too old for her. Inciting incident: After Douglas found interest in Esther and decided to marry her. Esther's parent was happy cause this would finally bring them out of poverty and they forced Esther to marry him even tho she thoroughly refused her parent threatened to throw her out and also disown her if she refused to marry Douglas, so she had no choice but to marry him. Rising Action: Esther's life became more miserable with Douglas. He was physically abusive and only needed her to satisfy his s****l urges. Esther bonded back with her old-time lover, Paul. Who was then poor but now a billionaire. One night of passion with Paul, she became pregnant. Climax: Esther was left with no choice but to pin the pregnancy on Douglas after all he was her husband but Douglas did not believe her because he had hormone problems which he had spent a lot to get himself treated but nothing seemed to be working. She was scared of letting him know but she just had to let him know even though it was going to hurt him. As she got up from her bed to go outside, her parents were sitting down on the couch in their parlor. They asked her where she was going but she gave no response to them As she stepped out the air welcomed her with a fresh breeze and she realized that she had not been out the whole day, she felt some kind of relaxation with the freshness that pierced through her skin. She walked slowly to Paul's house, her heart pounding so fast like it was going to come out of her chest. She kept thinking of how she was going to break the news to him. They both loved each other so much and had so many dreams together, Paul has been working so hard just to make sure they leave to their dreams. It has not been easy for both lovers.
