Crow had been lying in bed, awake as anyone can be. He raised his right hand to the ceiling fan, as if reaching for it. He was only staring at it, questions shooting through his mind.  Just what is this power that I had? What was the power I used? Where did it come from? Who is the voice? Or rather what is the voice? Eventually a reply came from inside his head.  “I am you. More like a separate person but still a part of you and much like you, I’m a demon. Only I would be classified as a Hell-Dweller.”  Hell-Dweller?  “You know, the ones that fight angels.” Oh.  “You’ll get your memories back soon.”  What do you mean? “Haven’t you noticed how blank your memory is between the night of your mother’s death and the orphanage?”  Crow quickly sat up, you mean to tell me there’s something there?! Chapter 14 Airi sat in the backseat waiting to see where Jane would take her. Soon enough she figured it out.  She had taken her back home, to Edolas, her older brother.  Edolas had been waiting outside the front door for her to arrive. When Airi got out of the car he gave her a toothy smile. “Welcome home Airi!”  “Why have you called me here?” she asked. “To celebrate. Just you and me.”  She smiled in response, free at last. They went inside, walking straight to the dining room.  On the way there, Edolas checked out his sister’s outfit.  “That actually doesn’t look bad on you.” Airi blushed a bit in response, “I actually like it too…”  They reached the dining room, the table full of food.  “I believe today’s special is a sirloin with mashed potatoes and shrimp. Blood Wine has also been served to accompany it.”  Airi, looking at the plate laid on the table, gasped. The food looked great but then she realized what day it was.  November thirteenth, the day Edolas’ wife died. She was killed by a Demon-Hunter seventeen years ago.  “Jessica…” Airi looked down in guilt.  How could I have forgotten the day Jessica died.  To Airi, it was like they were actually related by blood, she was more than a sister-in-law. They would talk about many things.  Edolas walked to his younger sister and embraced her, he too felt guilt. He couldn’t protect Jessica, leading her to die at the hands of a rogue Demon-Hunter. It led to him breaking the law that he established, any rogue Demon-Hunter was to be sent to the Demon-Hunter organization to be dealt with.  He hunted him to the ends of the Earth, taking his life in retribution for his dead wife. He didn’t go unpunished however.  The two sat at the table and began to eat the meal, sadness being the emotion running through them. They sat in silence, none of them daring to shed a tear. When they finished the food on the plates, they lifted their glasses, raising them high.  “To Jessica.” Edolas spoke.  “To Jessica.” Airi recited.  The two downed the Blood Wine.
