... Ibinabo drew out her sword and charged the guards at the gate, she successfully put down two guards. With the help of the prince and the two rescued warriors they were able to take down the frontiers but reinforcement kept coming and they were outnumbered and suddenly suppressed. Ibinabo looked at the Prince to signal him to yield but he was far ahead of her to notice and he made a move to keep fighting. But he was subdued and he was disarmed and was punished for his guts. One of the guards use the edge of a sword and knocked him unconscious to keep him calm. Ibinabo was raged but she couldn't do anything to avoid being incapacitated. She yielded and surrendered to the warriors. She was binded with her hands and so was the prince and the two warriors. Sandy was taken too but not binded as she was not seen as a threat. The couldn't handle at ease. The warriors seemed to have a commander, the one who knocked the Prince out. He led them towards the prison castle where they invaded earlier on. Sandy now had a proper view of what went on inside as she kept seeing bodies of unconscious guards and shattered glasses and tables where the guards sat broken to pieces. As they finally arrive at the cells, the put Sandy and the prince in one cell room locked up. And Ibinabo and the older warriors were taken to another cell. It was quiet and the whole castle smelled like there was an abattoir somewhere close by. Prince Jath was still unconscious and Sandy was worried for him. He was bleeding from his nose and there was a moderate bruise on his forehead where he was hit. She wondered if ibinabo had any more of lady Mildred's healing potions with her but it was impossible as she couldn't see where they had put Ibinabo and the two warriors. "Hey!!! Wake up!... Sandy tried to wake Prince Jath up as she wasn't sure what to do next. "Ah!" He groaned, in exclamation of pain and his head wound, the prince woke up and sat trying to catch his breath. He looked around and saw that he was back to where he was held before he shook his head in denial, "No way"... His heart started racing again and he ran towards the prison gates to see if he would somehow push it open like it was left unlocked or loosed. Sandy stood and stared at him struggle with his reality. It must have been deadening sad to realise that his plans had failed him and what Lord Nathan predicted has actually become an outcome. The prince was downtrodden but he never lost hope as he kept shaking the prison's iron cage in lieu of attention from a guard or anyone there present. After seemingly such a long time of adrenaline rush and yelling, young prince Jath was exhausted and has to regain his strength. "Hey,"... Sandy said once again as the prince had finally settled down and had his countenance to calm. "Hi".. he replied back looking uninterested in a conversation. Sandy noticed his arrogance but mistook it for frustration. "You're bleeding. Your nose, it's bleeding. Here, you can have my linen".... She tore a piece of the clothes she had on and offered it to him. He refused to look at her in the eye but he took it and dabbed his nose of the blood. "I'm sorry about your head. You should have been more careful not to spite the warriors. You should have yielded when the others did"... Before she could continue in her opinion, the Prince stood up and told her to stand too."you see this?, (pointing to his collar bone as he shifted his clothes to show his skin), it's the first scar i got from a fight when I was 12. I was never taught to yield. It's the beginning of failure." Pointing out to another scar on his wrist. "Look here, this is the very reason why I am alive. If I had yielded I would be dead by the hands of bandits and barbarians but I fought to the last and with my wrist I could fend the cut that was to take out my head giving me a chance to strike back with a loosed wrist. So you may now understand that I survive persecution and I don't yield to my enemies.".... Sandy saw in him a desire to be seen as Worthy of something but he must have all this attributes that attracts adoration and envy, his father must admire him, and his people praised his swordsmanship. He was a budding Ruler. But there was something missing in him that blinded him to the simplest things. " What about this?, How did you get that?"....Sandy slowly touched his chin in a way to make him turn so she could see him well enough. The prince had an amazing look, she thought the Emperor had amazing eyes but the prince had the same and even better because he was young and naive. His eyes always wondering in lust and awe of the things he saw. His dark hair fell across his face and covered the left part of his eyes and he looked exactly like the Emperor but with a good hair. His blue eyes were not just blue but deep blue. Deep enough to sink a stare when it glows. She fixed a gaze on him as he had been avoiding looking at Sandy's face and for a while the both stared at each other more succinctly. The prince had this scar, a sharp cut looking scar right under his eye. It blended so well to his face that it seemed like a birthmark or invisible. "My Father, to discipline me. So he slit me right under my eyes to always make me remember that.".... He almost hesitated at first but he just told her exactly as it came to him. He looked lost on thought as he said that, like he was trying to remember when it happened. Sandy feeling like she had intruded on his family affairs, she backed away from him a little and sat right close the wall.He turned to look at her to see if she had sustained any injury through out the mission. "I trust you have no injury?"... "No".. Sandy replied. For moments there was an awkward silence between both of them. The prison castle was entirely quiet. All that could be heard was echoes from the walls inside and voices from outside the castle .
