A queen ruled the Pacific city. It was more of a kingdom than a City, there was an outstanding difference in development as compared to the Atlantic Empire. The sky scrapping castles and rook temples and the beautifully chiseled caves and whites sands that was in sight gave endowments to the city, compared to the beautiful natural mountains and rock castles that the Atlantic Empire had. Sandy enjoyed every sight she had of the beautiful city on her way to the rescue mission.
Dawn had come and the Prince and Ibinabo had set out down there earlier to capture a farmer and sieze the goods and carriage they were transporting. On their return they had different clothes on, the clothes that the abducted farmers had on. They had veiled their faces. Immediately they returned, the plan was to be executed, Sandra was summoned. Ibinabo dressed her on clothes that made it seem like she was a dirty farmer's child and she followed them through the cave that led to the path way down the hill to the City.... The plan was simple but risky... The took over the carriage they had abandoned somewhere in the bushes and the prince went under it while the rod towards the gate. Ibinabo's eyes were binded with a cloth and she was dressed with a staff like a an old lady. Sandy was the girl who directs her blind farmer mother back to the Atlantic city after a successful harvest from the fields. And that was exactly what they had planned. It was left for the guards to fall for it.
As they headed towards the gate at the City walls the guard who was there lifted his hands to halt Sandy and Ibinabo who leaped down the carriage with the help of Ibinabo with her staff like a wretched old farmer. "What's in the carriage?".... The guard asked. Sandy a bit nervous and trying to hide her anxiety struggles to respond as soon much was at stake if she mumbled the wrong wrongs.. Ibinabo noticed her stuttering, in order to distract the guard she coughed and asked for Sandy's attention. "Who is this woman?"...the guard asked once again this time more focused on ibinabo. looking at her head to toe.... " She is my blind mother. She needs to rest, we have been picking cottons and vegetables since. May we pass please?" Sandy asked as the guard walked around and inspected the carriage and then signalled the man ontop the tower who controlled the gates. "Let them pass"... He yelled. Sandy put back her veil on her face and held Ibinabo as in a way to support her walk properly all in disguise as the guard volunteered to help them push the carriage towards the city. As the reached innermost part of the city where there wasn't such a great crowd, the prince rolled over from the under part of the carriage, and walked amongst them unnoticed untill the guard who helped them retreated back to his position at the gates as they had reached the city's store houses where all that the farmers harvests was stored for the city.
After joining the real farmers that were there off load the goods on the carriage, the prince, Sandy and Ibinabo went out of the store house. The prince was out of sight for a second, and then he appears from the corners, He pointed to the east of the city and led them further that direction where he believes the prisoners were held.
The inner part of the city was just as Sandy imagined it. The city was wallowing in beauty and of course all the birds that they couldn't find on the sky earlier as they had arrived the Pacific world from the shores flew low in the city. They got passed every check point and every soldier from the Pacific in their disguises. When they finally arrived at the building where the prince believes the prisoners were kept in. The prince stopped.... "This is it.(panting from his fast paced walk through out the city to avoid being spotted by any of the guards. They all knew what he looked like because they all had their fun making jest of him while he was their prisoner.).... looking at how tall the building stood Ibinabo had to ask. "Is that the building we will enter"? She whispered to the prince.... "Yes, let's go the guards aren't looking now"... Prince Jath took to his heels and ran into the building before the guards could notice someone made it through. He drew his sword and slew the guards from behind leaving the door both open and unprotected for Ibinabo and Sandy to Join him. He signaled ibinabo to come in. "Wait here we will come and get you. Ibinabo puts Sandra under their carriage to hide and watch. She then proceeds to enter the building. Glass shattering and yells of struggling and scream of alerts Came from the inside of the building right after Ibinabo's demise. Sandy while under thought about her chances of surviving out here alone untill she makes she out, she thought about running out to meet with anyone here who could help her travel back to get world but she was scared the would hold her captive if they found out she was first chosen by the Atlantic Empire waters. Further yells and bell clanging was heard, There was a fight in the building as Sandy heard a sound on the floor from the fall of one of the guards inside the building from a window up and Sandy couldn't see what was going on inside there but after some time from below the carriage where she laid, she saw four feet running out of the building and heading towards the carriage. Ibinabo yelled out for Sandy to get up and climb on and quickly jumped on the carriage. The prince took a wood and barricaded the door from outside while they soldiers who pursued them banged and hit the doors from the inside. The prince was then assisted by the other two men who wedged the door as the he left this swords on both ends of the door handles making it impossible to open the door unless the sword broke. It appears the two men who were with Ibinabo and the prince were the warriors the prince wanted to rescue because they were still in shackles but it was loosely cut.. Now it was also time for the escape and the plan was to fight their way out from the gate as the had strength in numbers with two men added to the team. They all got on the carriage and rode on further to the gates. The crowd outside became the unbearable, so They all alighted and made it on foot towards the gate. They were hoping to get to the gate before the warning bell was rung by the guards to signify there was an attack in the city and extra caution was to be observed in the city. As the bell rang, the fugitives moved faster on reaching the gates the numbers of guard that was there had increased by a large amount and it was all just impossible to fight their way out of this city. They all looked at each other in exchange of glances of confusion as to what to do next as it seems like the plan had failed after all.
