Sandy woke up feeling strengthened a morning after, she noticed the sun rays that pierced through her squinted eyes. For a moment she couldn't see. Almost forgetting she was still in another realm where the Ray's scorched harder than the desert sun, she turned to find her usual bunk bed at the castle and maybe a window to check what was going in the empire but she surrounded by trees, grasses and an extra bright weather. She had been put in a tent to rest and when she woke. She kind of got tired of having no control of her environment lately when she wakes. Hence; she stood up and went outside to try to remember what she left behind and what was going on. She was curious if they had ever found the man in Black that gave her a scare back in the woods with Desmond. She also wondered what happened with Desmond, trying to look at the people who were around to see if there was a familiar face. She met with the girl who sat right outside her tent and asked if she could see Ibinabo. She was treated politely as the girl asked her to sit beside the tent and wait for her to go tell Ibinabo that she had woken up. Sandy sat for a while, and became weary of being told what to do. She sat a little while longer then still stood up and stretched her legs for a while before wondering off. She wandered as far out to the cliff where she fell and from there she noticed Ibinabo and the prince (who she never knew was the prince of course) hiding down a slope watching the people on the outskirts of the City walls. The farmers and hunters who salvage food for the city operated outside the city but right beside it. The Pacific world operated entirely differently from the worlds she has known so far. She watched closely to see what those two were up to but her curiosity was cut short when the girl she had sent to meet with Ibinabo had come and found her exactly where she was. " What are you doing hiding out here?" She asked. Sandy was startled but careful not to fall again. "I would ask the same question but am trying to figure it out".. she said pointing at the direction where Ibinabo and the Prince hid down the cliff. She joined her and took a stare, she noticed it was the prince and Ibinabo who she saw from there and then she got up and told her it was not a business of hers. " Be careful not to interfere worth their busines, it's risky you could ruin everything. We are in a strange land and it's not safe put here you better come with me" she said, walkinga away in a fearful manner. Sandy was a bit surprised to see she wasn't as curious as she was suddenly.....so she stood still and watched walk away , only to return to he previous position to spy..
Having noticed that sandy wasn't alligning with her to returm to the tent , she turned back again in disappointment and detest at Sandy's nonchalance. "Well, I have been given orders to take you to the Physician's tent for proper check. Please kindly get up let's leave before someone spots us spying on the royal guard and the Prince." .....As if she heard her wrongly and in lieu to correct her or rather hear her clearly she got up and asked again... "Is that the prince?"... She tried to get a proper view of the prince who for his sake had led her out of one strange world to another just to save him. " Yes that is the Prince and he has been found. Well, he found us actually. He had been here in the mountains and woods all along. He escaped from capture days back. But now words have it that he left his men in the city and he wants to go back in there to save them." She walked away from Sandy and turned back to give her a gesture with a facial expression insisting she follows her.
On reaching Lord Nathan's chambers Sandy was welcomed by his warm reception and offered her a drink of water from his cup where he drank his ale. Sandy could Taste the ale from the water she drank as he poured her another cup to make sure she was properly hydrated but she refused it this time. Lord Nathan asked to see her eye and her tongue to check for slight difference in her form and maybe any infection from the cut. It was trite principle to make sure cuts from objects outside the Atlantic realm was to be properly treated and sanitize or Annihilated to avoid a spread, if it's infectious. After several checks Sandy was declared fit to socialize by lord Nathan. The scar on her loin from the cut was fading quickly and Lord Nathan deemed her lucky enough to react fast to healing potions and elixirs.... He dropped his official cloak and turned to being casual with Sandy as he sat close to her but facing his table as he was about to write. " Tell me young one, do you feel lucky to have landed on the shores of this world or are you yearning for the life of a limited possibility?" Lord Nathan said as he took a feather, dipped in ink and scribbled down words on a blank paper. Sandy sat and wondered how to respond to a question that she thought he must have knew the answer to. " Well yes sire, I want to go back home and see my family".... She said folding her legs in and her arms wrapped around it. "It's okay to think of your family, you might be with them them soon enough. After the eclipse you will be free to travel back to your world but till then you remain a possession of the Atlantic world and you ll be greatly rewarded for what you can offer to help the Empire see the light of the day after the Eclipse."... Lord Nathan said as he put down his feather, folded the paper into a white paper envelope. Sandy watched him struggle to press the envelope together to a seal. Then she offered to help. He looked at her in amazement as she picked up a candle from one of the stands, and dropped the wax on the open end of the envelop and used her thumb to press it to a seal. She must have learnt that from her father or someone work enough to know the ancient ways to make a seal. Lord Nathan gave her a smile while uttering words to praise her resourcefulness. Just then as they were about to delve further into their conversation, Ibinabo walked in. She took a glance at Sandy like she just realized something and then she went further to tell Lord Nathan of the new development and how the plan with the prince was going. "I have sent word to the emperor that the we have found the prince and we are all safe, so therefore we would be sailing back home by tomorrow nightfall. Now it's up to you and Jath now to make sure you get in, take the hostage and come out before then or we might risk our chances of keeping the emperor's curiosity out of this". Ibinabo nodded in affirmation and thanked him for his resilience.
And by the time morning came it was too late to retreat after having many set backs and second thoughts about involving Sandy and risking her life. Ibinabo had already made up her mind to join the prince on his quest and Sandy was an integral part of the plan and she wouldn't be exposed to so much harm as she was only going to get them pass the walls into the city. Ibinabo had explained to Lord Nathan the essentiality of Sandy to their mission yesterday. Sandy overheard this and was forced to think of her own plans.she was open to diverse opportunities to return home so she accepted to follow them to enable pass the Walls. She was completely healed and fit. lady Mildred's potion was the best thing that ever happened to her. Lord Nathan kicked against Ibinabo and Jath taking a rookie into the heart of a city that was more strange to her than the empire. But Ibinabo explained to him that she was going to be kept safe and she in particular was needed for the plan to succeed as only she could communicate with the people from the Pacific city without a rise on suspicion. Her eyes were brown and reflected the lights from the sun almost as that of the people of this world. Lord Nathan couldn't help but notice that Sandy had no problem going along with them and he wasn't the type to put another person out of his freewill so he gave Sandy a peck on her forehead and told her to be careful. Sandy felt loved, for the last time she was given an affectionate expression was before she got on board of the Georgestone marine ship with her family. She smiled back at Lord Nathan and followed ibinabo off to prepare her disguise and prepare her for what she will be involved in.
Prince Jath took his time to make sure his arrows head was sharp enough to pierce through the armors of the soldiers of the Pacific city. He used stones to sharpen the iron head and the stone be had on him eventually went blunt as the iron cut edges on it. He took to his feet out of his tent room to find smooth stones from the sea shores. There were colourful pebbles amongst the sands of the shores. He picked as much as he could, but as he went further towards to where the waters flow stops and washes shores he noticed there were bigger pebbles there that suits the purpose he needed them for. So he discarded the ones he had picked already and went ahead to pick three big pebble-stone and as he turned to he noticed a figure come forth from within the water. Sandy had gone for a bath in the Pacific waters to wash the itch on her face and body as she was used to relaxing her tension when she delves underwater for a swim. As she came out, the beauty of her human features melted the heart of the prince and he was left in awe. He remembered her nose and chin from when he lifted her veil when she was awake but she only looked more than beautiful as she was awake. The prince kept himself in check as he was staring a bit too much. He took pebbles and walked away back towards the woods. He couldn't take the picture of Sandy out of his mind for as long as he sat filing his swords and sharpening his arrows heads. Im mediately he was done, he took a walk towards the chambers where Ibinabo was and pretended to hold a conversation with her only to get a peep at Sandy but she was with Lord Nathan presumably as he couldn't find her. So he went further to Lord Nathan's tent to once again pretend to hold a conversation with him about how his father fared while he kept searching for Sandy. Again he was disappointed and he felt so disappointed in himself for allowing his emotions get the best of him. He quickly ended the conversation with Lord Nathan in a rush back to his tent to get some sleep as he was fully prepared for battle.
