He trekked on the skulls and bones of abandoned Prisoners who were caged there and forgotten, left to rot. He yelled once more for Ibinabo and there was a response and he could hear the shackles. He ran further and found Ibinabo and the two other warriors chained to the wall. He struck the chains and unleashed her from the shackles. She got up and thanked the Prince. "Did you bring an extra sword?".. Ibinabo asked. Prince Jath smiled. "No I didn't, I didn't even know if you were alive."... As the almost began a conversation, the other guys made a murmur to indicate that there were still cuffed to the wall. Prince Jath released them too. And they headed back towards the pit where he came from. It was a shallow dungeon and a straight path with different turns. So it was easy to run back and locate the spot he landed from. On their way they noticed a young boy and an elderly lady who were also chained to the wall and the prince wasn't sure they were there when he passed and it seemed like he took a wrong path. He unleashed the boy and the mother without asking questions and then asked the woman for directions but as the woman noticed the blue in the eyes of Ibinabo and Prince Jath, she held her boy back in fear. After several tries to get her to talk and stop the panting in fright she pointed to the left and they all looked and saw another path that looked similar too. They were about to take off in a haste but then a strange thing happened. The boy released himself of her grip and held onto the legs of Prince Jath. He turned and looked in the boys brown eyes, he saw a cry of help and he decided he wouldn't leave the boy alone as they escaped. He stretched out his hands and asked the mother to follow them, she hesitated at first but then looked at the boy and followed them up. They ran through to the path way and they could see a touch of light ahead coming above from the the top castle.
Meanwhile back up there, as prince Jath had gone solo to bring back Ibinabo, Lord Nathan tried to calculate their chances of surviving with the reduced amount of warriors that were still alive and active. It seemed almost impossible but he thought of an escape route where they wouldn't have to fight anymore untill necessary. There were still less chances of them escaping without a great fall of warriors if not all. This was when he wished it was possible to perform blue magic in the Pacific but the customary rule is that when one is out of his world there is no way he can use his magic. The Pacific had their magic too but only the queen harnesses the power. And this time was the time she had to leave the kingdom to a land far away where she could charge her spirit with the powers of the sun. Lord Nathan thought of almost everything he could but he was cut short of coming up with s solution as he heard the voice of prince Jath. By then the Warriors who barricaded the gates from the inside had started loosing strength and it was as if they had been an overpower. Lord Nathan and the rest of the warriors who were still alive an inside the castle were made to jump Into the castle and the rope was cut to delay the Pacific warriors from entering if the found out the had jumped gone Into the dungeon. Which was apparent as they had left the plank door that opened to the dungeon open. It was impossible to close it as the last person jumped in a haste.
After all were gathered and safely landed, Lord nathan took a look around and was disgusted with the smell and the bones under this feet. "Ibinabo, nice to see you again... And who are these?"... Lord Nathan asked looking at the kid and the mother the found abandoned in the castle.
The prince had already started walking forward as he heard the vibration of feet stomping on the ground of the castle right above his head. The Pacific warriors must have found out they had gone into the dungeon. "Hurry up there's another path that lead straight to the walls of the city. I met this kid and his mother here and they seem to know a path that leads to the ends of the wall. Can we move now? "... Prince Jath said as he welcomed Lord Nathan and answered his questions. They all followed the kid who the kid and his mother as they led the through the tunnels and caves till they arrived at a pit end. "What now?"... Lord Nathan said as he never really supported trusting the boy and his mother even if they were prisoners. "How do we get,?"... ibinabo said looking at the mother. She was still frightened and made gestures that pointed towards the the wall at the end of the tunnel. She drew out Lord Nathan's sword and asked her again this time.
"She doesn't speak!... , She is dumb. please"... The boy said.
"She said, the wall is made of stones that were stacked by the miners. One single push can bring it down.".... Lord Nathan, with a patriotic look on his face, he went closer and looked at the wall closely and saw the tiny spaces in between. He confirmed it and told them it was true.
One of the warriors joined Desmond and ibinabo to push and it fell like a house of cards just that it was a dangerous fall. One of the stones fell on Desmond's head and he went unconscious. The dust that rose from the stones couldn't give space for sight as the dust covered the Air. The all ran towards it to the other side. As the dust cleared the could see the walls and fresh breathe of sir was the first thing they all appreciated. Especially the mother and child. They were already on the outskirts of the city. As the path that leads up to the woods was recognized by the prince right up ahead. Prince Jath knelt to thank the boy and gave him a pad on his head. " Take care of your mother. We will be heading to the Atlantic, as you know that is where we from. if it was possible we would take you but you would still end up in another dungeon. The Emperor doesn't trust anyone with Pacific blood."... Prince Jath tried to convince the kid he would be fine surviving with the mother but the boy knew it wasn't an easy task so he looked at him and said nothing. His mother made s gesture to them to bid them farewell.
Sandy and Ibinabo helped carry Desmond to the other side. Lord Nathan helped strapped his head with a veil. One of his acolytes carried the body and followed up the rest as they had successfully escaped the city and were on their way up the hills to the shores as fast as they could to make a sail. The warriors were already I'm the dungeon tunnel following the path they took in a haste to find them. The guards of the city wall on the tower had spotted them and made an alarm to the Pacific kingdom warriors.
