Out of sight

1070 Words
The night had come upon them at the cold, windy sea. One was on the run while the other was the pursuit ship. But the two ships kept sailing the waters of the mighty ocean. Jessiahs ship had gain some closure to The Atlantic ship but not enough to launch his attack. The Atlantic ship was made to resist all form of attacks actually. Except it was a close call. But there was an attack that it couldn't fend. Ariel attacks. Jessiah called for his Archers as he saw that they had reached the neutral worlds and waters now that separated the two worlds and it's waters and territoies. He never wished them to get away so he called and lined up his Archers that were on board his ship. He didn't have much as they best archers that came with him where onboard the ships that had retreated from the oil fire. He ordered them to dragged and release thier arrows to the top air and made sure it landed on the ship of the Atlantic. All were gathered outside the ships cabin. Watching out for the Pacific ship and maybe any thing that may be of a threat. All except Lord Nathan, Sandy were insided in the Chambers. While Desmond was the one taking medication. The potions lady Mildred had given to them was exhausted. So Desmond had to heal on his own. Slowly and painful but as long as he was alive. Prince Jath asked for eyes up the flag pole to get a view of what was going on in the Pacific ship as he had notice movements that gave him suspicious Premonitions.  As the sail went on what, ocean had a foggy atmosphere where no one could see anything apart from the smoky air and fog that fills the air. And the Atlantic's warrior killer sailed into the fog, while Jessiah and his men were behind still in clear sight. That would be a train to fortune. Jessiah took advantage of that moment and told his Archers to aim for the ship while they couldn't see what was planned for them and couldn't pick up thier shields till it's too late. His plan was to eliminate the warriors of the Atlantic empire as much as possible. "Nothing sire, I see nothing, the fog covers up to this top, it's so cold up there sire I can't keep hanging.".... The man who was sent by prince Jath to have an elevated view of what was going on with the Pacific ship. But there was nothing he could say. Immediately he was about to tell them to stir ahead and it seems like there was going to be peace in might of the sea for a while. Sandy had then come out to join the rest of the warriors and to see what was going on. As she steps out, right in front of her an arrow lands, she turned to check if anyone else saw the arrow too. Then she heard a scream, she turned to check, another arrow came in and pierced of Lord Nathan's Acolytes right in the left part of this shoulders as he dropped to the ground. The arrows started falling and lt was the fact that she had so much confident to walk through to meet prince Jath on the other side and hide behind a barricade. The arrows kept coming, falling on thier ship. The prince ran to a point that was protected from the fall of the arrows. He watched the very person he wanted to save, the person he risked his life for currently laying grasping for breath. As he laid, more arrows kept piecing through his body to confirm he is deceased. After some time, the arrows stopped falling. They may have exhausted the arrows the had or they must think they had all been killed or injured. Some of the warriors who had their shields brought it down as the arrows didn't fall anymore. They sailed for about some minutes later. Before they could head out of the foggy area. But then they couldn't still time out if jessiah and his men had gone into the fog too or did they just retreat after shooting the arrows to cover up theirt tracks. Several minutes later, all eyes was on the direction to which they had come from, and still there was no picture of the Pacific ship coming out from the fog or in the fog. "They must have been out by now". Prince Jath waved. He had already waited for a time like this to come since he was captured, a chance to revenge have torture on one of the warriors. Sandy looked further and could see the Pacific ship.  "I see it, it is coming.".... Sandy said as she took a bow from one of the archers that were on standby and removed arrows from the back of the deceased. She set her arrows and pulled as everyone looked at her in amazement. She drapped, gathered her aim and waited for the pacific ship to come forth to a clearer view. Immediately she had jessiah in sight she set her aim up. She relaxed her hands and tried to remember her long time Archery training with Grandpa Murdock. She aimed for precision, she aimed for the heart. She released the grip and let the arrow shoot. The arrow went to Jessiah's chest but he was fast enough to see it coming given his ability to quick reflexes and his eagle eye. He moved slightly to the left dodging the arrow but it cut it's arm and it hit one of those his Archers who stood behind him right in the chest. She had a gallon cheers from the warriors as the ship was last seen making a U-turn. Jessiah and his men had retreated back to the Pacific city to await the Queen's return and in hope to find revenge on the day of the Eclipse. Jessiah was drowning in fury as he kept staring at the Atlantic sail further away in a staggered victory. He underestimate Sandy, considering it was a teenager girl who almost had him by the night. He vowed to eliminate her. Maybe it was difficult to leave a forgotten memory on the first sail but from there on it was a smooth sail across the Pacific to the Atlantic.
